The weight of the jewelry was not heavy at all so not sure why shipping would be the same regardless of the weight of the pieces.

I am so sorry you were disappointed. We charge a flat rate shipping which covers USPS rates of $3.50 + the cost of our supplies. (Padded envelope & tissue paper) We shipped 5 bracelets in this order.
