Wow. I bought this cashmere wrap from Bloomingdale's for a trip. $198 plus tax. I used it on the flight to Barcelona. I arrived with my white shirt completely covered in fuzz. I looked like my blouse was mostly grey.
I just tried to return it or exchange it. I had my receipt. I was told NO because it did not have all original tags and I do not qualify for a "no tag required" return. I must spend at least $5000 a year with them for that honor. A manager explained this lovely detail to me while I was in the store today.
I've been a great customer but not to that $$$ tune.

Every time I called them they hung up on me because they didn't have an answer, how rude of them… the phone number In Glendale Galleria not working, no one answers and when you call the corporate number they have no clue how to help you, I never shop in that store again!
Ordered fragrance from Bloomingdales online. Showed the free gift I would receive due to primary purchase. Right after I paid online, I received an email saying the free gift is not in stock. Why would you show the gift on my order, say it is available and then renege the moment I pay? Bait and Switch tactics going on. Bad business practice. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. So many liars and deceptive businesses in the world. Will be returning the purchase I made as soon as it is received.
I love Bloomingdales the quality of customer service is the best. Someone is always willing to help or check in with you and assist you with your purchases. They are great with suggestions if you can't seem to make a decision about a particular product within their respective department. If you want to complete a look they go beyond what is expected to accommodate you. They will also collaborate with other Bloomingdale stores to find what you are looking for. The return policy is awesome if something didn't work out they are willing to take it back with some exceptions. The most important thing is that they take it back with professionalism and not with an attitude.
There is a difference when shopping at a high-end department store such as Bloomingdales versus a low-end high volume clothing manufacturer like Zara you're going to get what you pay for and it's reflected in the quality of the product and the service you receive.
I tried to purchase some Michael aram merchandise so it was 5 item I placed and ordered and they send me an email my order been canceled and need more information to provide and I need to call so I called and provide The information they asked and they told me you order now in placed, when I checked my credit card they charge twice and they ship me twice so I told them to cancel the order and refund my money they said we can not refund your money while not having merchandise in our wear house, so we try to get the ups to turn around to our wear House instead of my home so they email me they couldn't get the ups turned around when I got the stuff I email her and she will set up ups to come and pick it up so been two days I emailed her and she didn't respond so I called customer service they been so rude and un polite and I have to explain all over to each person when I call so frustrated and upset about all this happened I will never shop again and they customer service horrible
I ordered dark brown and and they sent the color auburn for the product I ordered WHAT A SCAM! I would NOT recommend ordering from their online website!

WORST SERVICE! NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN! I made an online purchase for which bloomingdales delivered part of the order which went missing and i immediately contact bloomingdales regarding this and instead of resolving the issue, they blocked me. As in my money is gone and i am not sure about the other part of the order whether they deliver it or not. Worst customer service i have seen. I don't understand how i am blocked they bloomingdales made a mistake. They never contacted even UPS regarding the package. I want my money back
Placed my order of a baby bjorn on July 25th to NYC. Was guaranteed 2 day delivery. It is August 8th, I never received my delivery. I am no longer in NYC, and am in Florida. I did not receive any communication regarding my order. When I called them two days ago, I was told I cannot change address of shipment, and I cannot cancel my order. Seems like they outsource their customer service. I asked to speak to the manager, manager finally agreed to cancel my order. Following day I received email that my order is being shipped. I sent them an email that they cancelled my order with Bloomingdales, and I had placed an order with Amazon and was expecting delivery that same day. Now, the customer service rep is telling me that I need to cancel the package. It is incredible. I am 8 months pregnant, not in New York, and they are asking me to clean up their mess. Much easier to order on Amazon, Macy's, Saks. Bloomingdales used to be good a few years ago, but now it is horrible.
I was placing an order online and when I clicked place my order, I got an error message on the website that said, the website was having technical difficulties and my order wasn't placed. I then proceeded to place another order with the same items and this time it went through. An hour later I decided to check my accounts order status, and saw that I was charged twice! I had two orders processing with the same items not one. I proceeded to call customer service who were unhelpful and not nice either, one even hung up the phone on me. They told me neither order can be cancelled because it's been over 30 minutes. Really? Really bad customer service. Not helpful, and worst part they speak to you like they are doing you a favor. It is the websites fault this happened, now I have to deal with retuning this package. Be careful shopping at Bloomingdales.com

I ordered a Tissot Watch and Bloomingdales sent me a watch and a warranty card with serial numbers that did not match. They did not take responsibility for this mistake. I now have a problem with the watch and cannot follow up with Tissot because Bloomingdales sold me a false warranty.
Made my purchase on 07/24. I saw the store policy that you can do price adjustment working 10 days. They tried to BS me that I can only do it within one day. They didn't clearly make it in their policies. I also called and asked again their customer service was really aggressive. Not helpful and tried to play the wording game. I'm returning my stuff and will never purchase from Bloomingdale's AGAIN!

Was returning a handbag. Two elderly saleswomen rivaled the mean girls you meet in junior high. Interactions like this are how businesses fade and fail. Sat 7/16 afternoon westchester store. I have the money to spend, but no store can last with mean girl help.

I ordered a set of decorative pillows on 6/24/22 and have not received them after three plus weeks. Called customer service twice only to be told that they have no control over when the manufacturer ships the item or if it will be shipped at all. What a rip-off! Buyer beware of this company.
Beware if you order from Bloomingdales and or Macy's and return some of the items due to poor quality or any other reason you will be banned from shopping on line with this retailer. During covid none of the stores had all items in stock so you were forced to order on line. I returned said items with original receipts. Now I am not allowed to order on line at either store. I guess they are a sinking ship and they don't want to pay shipping if you are going to possibly return an item. I have spent 10's of thousands of dollars at Bloomingdales and they have the gall to do this to me! I refuse to shop at either on now. Terrible customer service anyway!
I have always shopped at Bloomingdale's and loves it. Today I was there and was thrown for a loop at the clarins counter in nyc. Beware of the manager there selling her evil eye bracelets.
I bought somethings and went to return it. No one would help. If it's not a sale beware. You are being treated as if you are contaminated. Bloomies should look into this
Bloomingdale.com has the worst online customer service. They really need to take care of their customers when they are spending a lot of money at Bloomingdales; instead they treat you like you do not matter and they do not know what they are doing. Disappointed.
Also, I wish there were more well speaking customer service people like it use to be with Bloomingdales. Now there is a communication problem.
I purchased a MCM purse when it came to my house it was a scratch on it, so I returned it. Was told that another purse would be sent out. Waited n waited talked to several people to find out they just refunded my money back. So mind you I had used a 340 gift card and took the rest off my charge card. So They credit the 340 to my account (that was an hassle by itself) by this time I've talked to over 5ppl. So I was just going cash out on my credit and just be done, I was very irritated with them by this point. So late last night I'm on the account I see my credit had posted so I said let me use my credit and try this one more time, purchase went through I was happy so a couple minutes later it was canceled smh. They couldn't apply my 340 to the purchase what but it's showing I have 340 credit but I can't apply it to my purchase and make the difference up. I'm very pissed and I know they could careless but I closed my account and I'm done. Bloomingdale's you definitely let me down I expect more from you!
I ordered online last May 28. Until now i have not receive my orders. I called the customer service i think 5 times already but the same explaination. Nobody even bothered to contact me and update with what's happening or status of my order.
Answer: Most people who shops at Bloomingdales either the store or online rarely care to do reviews on products bought. This is not Amazon. You are on your own. Even the stores website keep asking for feedback but they rarely listen. Compare the website, their product description, etc with other similar stores like Nordstrom, IT SUCKS
