They give you accurate information of the person that you want to locate or find. All you have to do is type the state and the name of the person youre finding for. It will give you a better search results. The price was very reasonable for the information that I needed. I compared it to the other background services that Ive dealt before they are the cheapest. You get all the information of the person youre looking for at a reasonable cost. So worth it!

I signed up for the trial for checkthem.com... trial was for $1 for one week i think. I attempted to cancel the trial 4 days prior to it ending. Low and behold! I get a $40.36 deduction from my banking account at 11:09 pm. and of course even if i wanted to call their customer service to do something about it that night, they would have been closed, so i called the next morning. The jerk off proceeded to tell me that he wouldnt refund me at all, even tho there was no activity on the account in the past several days... i told him that i had agreements with my bank that would hold up stronger than his agreement that i signed for a trial service... thats when he decided to ask me how much money I actually wanted refunded. I told him i wanted it all back! I told him that i work in customer service, and the proper thing to tell a customer is that you will give them a full refund! He then proceeded to tell me that it will take up to 35 business days to get the refund back into my account! What a f-ing joke!

A couple months ago I signed up for checkthem on a trial. And before my trial was up they told me i had already checked to many names and was not allowed anymore. So I tried to cancel them but could never reach anyone. Well the first month I was able to get away with not paying for it with a low bank account this month they out of the blue charged me agian for the account and it was pending on my account. So i called and told them i did not want there service and the guy said ok and that i would not be charged. Well i checked my account today and they charged me anyway and so i called agian and asked why and the guy Ruben was so rude. He said cause i never cancelled it well im sorry if anyone was ever there after 5:00 it would be alot easier to cancel and being that I was told on Friday that i would not be charged to charge me now is redundent and bad business. I will never use this site agian i got nothing out of it that i couldnt of gotten on the internet for free. Its a scam and the people working there are very rude. And i will never do business with this company agian.

They charged me over 81 dollars over a 5 day period and then LIED ABOUT IT! I don't know who the person i talked with but, they said "no refunds". They will lie to you and I am sure what they are doing is illegal. Let's sign a petition to end the sitte. Also, the person I talked with was very rude. He said I was charged "additional for features but, said nothing about it. They don't do refunds so don't even try. NEVER sign up for this site. Anyone that says otherwise is probably a drone a drone for the company trying to scam you. Take my advice. Do NOT sign up. Their customer service sucks, they don't do refunds, basically it's a scam. I would make this 0 stars but sadly there isn't a thing

Figured i would check it out just looking myself up took a while then asked for credit card info which i was expecting almost used my normal card then thought better of it and grabbed my Temporary card and loaded $2 on it and went through with it. No useful information came through except address, relations, and neighbors. Said oh well and moved on. Checked my email 20 minutes later and had 4 attempted charges to my temp card. Absolutely do not use this site don't touch it stay the heck away from them. The $1.99 charge is the only one they talk about. Nowhere else is any charge mentioned. Its a scam and they know it otherwise there would be online support.

Do not sign up for the " $1-99 " trial with Checkthem. Signed up last night from an ad on Facebook. Looked up my own name. Did NOT sign up or use " Special Features." Within moments another $ 19.37 was taken from my debit card without my authorization or permission. So this morning I called their 800 number to cancel. My account was canceled however the "agent "refused to return the unauthorized $19.97 and then hung up on me. Don't do it. Don't fall for this. It isn't a 2 dollar mistake. It's a $ 23 mistake disguised as a service when it is a huge ripoff SCAM.

This is an offshore rip off company. They suck you in with a $1.99 trial. Then when using the site, you are asked if you want a full report. It does not say there are additional charges over the trial. WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN, YOU CAN TELL IT IS AN OFFSHORE PERSON.! NO REFUND OFFERED. RIP OFF CITY. DO NOT USE!

Gave it a try for $1.99 trial they were having. Very easy to do a search. Looked up a couple of old friends I lost touch with and was happy to see that they were not too far from me. I did not continue on subscription despite discount I was offered because I do not need this everyday... Just wanted to check out. Overall happy with what I found... Surprised to see so many bad reviews about being charged but the site gives you a date you need to cancel by to avoid monthly fee... That's how most trials work... guess people just don't pay attention. Overall I will use again if I need to.

Found ad on Facebook, visited site, searched for MY NAME, in order to view the 'Full Report' you could get a 5 day trial for $1.99 which would include searches through all public records (You get instant access to their contact information, criminal records, arrest records, mugshots, phone number history, addresses, professional verification's, licenses, marriage/divorce records, property history, court filings, anything ever posted about you online), after which you would be charged $32.99 to continue viewing the 'Full Report', I stupidly chose to pay the $1.99 to view my 'Full Report'. They showed me my name, previous addresses, and people who might be related to me - that's it. I clicked again to view all information, and it said to view everything it would be another $19.99 due now.

I called customer service, was on hold for nearly an hour (others were probably calling after being scammed also), the person who answered (Rubin with no employee #) said they were located in California, he cancelled the account made approx. 20 minutes before. He said I misunderstood what information I would receive, he would not refund the $1.99 because I had used the service (one time to search myself). I asked for a manager, he said he was a manager, said he was not refunding anything, raised his voice when I wouldn't agree. When I said I was reporting them to my bank, the Better Business Bureau, California State Attorney General, Colorado State Attorney General, Facebook (where I saw their ad, he hung up.

Please make sure they are honest about what they will provide for your $1.99 5 day trial before they take victim's money. I realize this is a small amount of money, but how many people are they scamming each day at $2 a pop?
