*******555 This number is not Coinbase real number and Coinbase wont even take it down. STAY THE $#*! AWAY FROM COINBASE I HAVE BEEN ROBBED THRU this company just signing up and now I am out $300.00 they don't care who answers there phones. They steal your identity and steal your money I am so $#*!ing pissed these $#*!s don't even have a real office. They have all kind of hackers out there pretending to be a real company
Absolute nightmare to register with still cant complete this. Zero customer support, completely incomprehensible registration process. Avoid at all costs!
Securely buy or sell bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies with no stress or fear at furcoins That is where I trade bitcoins
This company and its management (CEO Brian Armstrong) have shown me how not to run a business. Almost to the point of acting illegally. They received a wire from me where the named account was incorrect 30 days ago. Sent me a nice email saying how they could not accept the funds and would be returning the funds in 3-5 days. And 30 days later they are still holding my funds.
If that werent enough, I sold Bitcoin on 12/7 and yes, you guessed it, I have not received my funds.
They are using my money to pay their people. This is wrong and I believe illegal
They are unprofessional. Do not waste your time.
Coinbase is a bad example of a trading platform. Firstly, there are the hidden and frankly extortionate fees/commissions (e.g. When depositing funds, buying, selling, withdrawing). Secondly, their customer service is $#*!ing horrible (some stupid robot which can only direct you to their FAQ articles) and when you actually contact a person via email, they are completely incompetent and give no help at all. Thirdly, their financial institution (AS LHV Pank, Estonia) is a bloody disgrace. I made a SEPA transfer to my Coinbase account which never arrived, my bank sent several requests to return the funds but no response and their own customer service team says you should contact Coinbase support as they do not discuss payment details related to Coinbase accounts. Overall, a $#*!ing awful experience and i would advise everyone to stay away from Coinbase.
After the ridiculous implementation of BCC and the terrible prices for BTC transfers I am deeply disappointed from them. Planing to switch to another one.
NOT TRUSTWORTHY
NOT TRUSTWORTHY. NO SECURITY MEASURES IF TARGETTED. ALL MONEY LOST. NO REPONSE FROM COINBASE EVEN TO SECUTIRY BREACH EMAIL!
I set up highest security possible (following their advice to the letter) and the account was hacked within 4 days of setting up. I contacted coinbase within a minute of receiving the security SMS asking if changes were fraudulent, at the email address given (*******@coinbase etc). This should result in immediate action e.g. lock the account as security is breached. No response at all, no change to account, and no response to this date from Coinbase. It's now 2 weeks later and numerous subsequent emails and still no response. There is NO security if an account is breached. There is NO customer service if heckers target your account.
Hackers must have intercepted a text for secure login so were sophisticated. Hackers changed email linked to account. No sign of Malware on computer system, fully protected and all passwords for accounts are different. It's unclear at this point how information has beeen found. Anyone have suggestions? It makes me wonder whether there has been leaked from Coinbase.
Once in the account, hackers were able to disable 2 step authentication for fund transfer, there is no time delay in actioning this so they transferred funds and deleted account within 3/4minutes. This should not be possible! No response from Coinbase about this to date.
Never use Coinbase.
I opened an account with Coinbase in August of 2016 just to experiment with digital
Currency. Because I was using a credit card I was limited to $50.00 per week in deposits. I purchased 20 Ethereum for a total expense of $234.00. I have since recovered my original investment by 29 times. Coin base has deposited moneys in my checking account many times with no problems. I would HIGHLY RECCOMEND this company. P. K. Simonton Texas. This is an unsolicited endorsement.
They will not let you withdraw your money or move your BTC at once. Its called grand larceny and I invite everyone to complain to the NYS Dept of Financial Services. Here is the complaint form. http://www.dfs.ny.gov/consumer/fileacomplaint.htm
I have just backed out my original investment and still have 200% of original investment in my account. Their verification process is supposed to prevent scams from happening. Try again maybe?
Just thought I'd warn all other who may be victims of COINBASE HACKER FRAUD. I'm not a coinbase user or affiliated with coinbase in any way. Never even heard of them. On the 6th of Nov, someone made or already had a coinbase account and got hold of my bank info and withdrew money from my account. I don't know who this person is. When I tried contacting coinbase to find out info about this perpetrator, they say they cannot reveal information about the fraudster! ARE YOU KIDDING COINBASE!? YOU need to GO DOWN! You allow individuals to fraud others with your company and offer no accountability.
Coinbase $#*!ing scammed me and stole my money. I almost gave up on cryptocurrencies until I came across furcoins.com where I successfully bought over $10,000 worth bitcoins and I got the bitcoins in less than 24 hours.
Seriously bad experience with coinbase: id verification is the most frustrating you will ever have. Have still not been accepted after nearly a week of trying.
The entire process is inefficient and mostly not working.
Support is... well, not there.
Hat will happen with your funds if you have an issue and cannot get hold of anyone: these people are not accountable to anyone and cannot be trusted.
This is the sort of organization that give crypto currency a bad name.
Use at your own risk
originally attempted to register with the cellphone app, putting in all necessary information. Each time - about 6 attempts spread out over almost 2 weeks - I would constantly have to go through the same steps until it either locked me in ID limbo or if that got through (only one time mind you), than I would than get stuck in payment verification limbo.
The last attempt was directly on their website (not through the app) to see if it would have better luck seeing as I am given the additional option to upload photos from a jpg. Same result...failed verification.
I noticed other potential users having the same problems based on many of the reviews. The other thing I noticed were the conveniently placed "outages" when prices were at their highs.
This $#*! is extremely phishy. This company is not the future for digital currency exchange...it has failed that "verification".
On a sidenote: if cryptocurrency is supposed to be decentralized, why are you forced to go through a mediary (exchanges) to buy and sell? That is still a form of centralization. Additionally, you can be locked out of access to your wallet or any transactions do to "outages".
Used to be very convenient. Recently needed to do a transfer. After spending time on verifying "new login", I enter the details... and am hit with a 3-day clearance interval because it's not a address I sent to before. Unless you verify with ID, that is - the site states. So I go to that page. Turns out that my country is not supported for ID verification. I try to message the support asking if there is any other way to verify. 3 days later I get a response that they **do not offer email support for residents of my country**. My country is not subject of sanctions by US or EU, this is their own choice. I didn't even know that you could offer paid services while outright denying support.
Coinbase closed my account for no apparent reason after I purchase $7500 in bitcoin. The transactions were left pending and prompted me to close my account. In the process it shows there is nothing in my wallet and there are no current transactions! Guess what 4 days later the $7500 just cleared my bank account and shows nothing in my wallet! Of course no one answers email or phone! What a fraud!
Coinbase does an update this week and I lose all the money in my account. No one answers the phone... after an hour I give up. Emailed customer service and get a reply that it will take 2 weeks to get me. What a scam. Shut this site down
So I change my phone and try to sign into Coinbase only to find you have to jump through circus rings to get access to your account, because the sign-in re-verifies you after a month of not logging in; and if you don't have the phone number you used to enroll with you have to send a snapshot of your drivers license and a selfy, to say the least it's uncomfortable. Then when I finally get access to the account, 2 DAYS later, I go ahead and send some Bitcoin to an address; well, the address timed out and I had to endure a nerve wracking 2 days before it hit my wallet again. I would never do business with this company again.
I probably only have less than one quarter of a Bitcoin in my Coinbase wallet at the present moment... back a few years ago, it was so user friendly and so easy to do things... like transfer Bitcoin and that sort of thing... now it has morphed into a very user unfriendly whores nightmare... security is now so damned tight... that I cannot even get into my account any more... I have just got so frustrated with them... and frankly I want nothing to do with cryptocurrencies any more... that's it... fool me once, shame on you Coinbase... there has got to be better sites than Coinbase... do not make the same mistake that I made... look elsewhere for a cryptocurrency wallet...
I like their interface, and I was able to buy and sell bitcoin initially. But their verification gets messed up and your funds get stuck in limbo. Definitely don't put in more than you can afford to lose... not because the crypto's may lose value, but because you may not be able to get it back from Coinbase.
Answer: You can get your crypto back from coinbase if you having problem accessing your account A military friend that introduced me to the dark web as my best bet at finding agencies [Kryptorecovery gmail com] whose sole purpose was to recover stolen financial assets from scammers I sought the services of Kryptorecovery PHOENIX SOULS Search on search engines like BING, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo In 48 hours I had my initial investment and generated profits all together in my wallet.
Answer: The thing is people generally only write a review if they got cheated. And thus from all the reviews (not just this site) you can tell that they screwed over a lot of people (including me). Let's say that 95% of people have a good experience with the site, what about the remaining 5%. If a company is not loyal to all its customers then that company should not exist, especially a company dealing with money. My advice is, stay away from them. Use localbitcoins to trade and bitgo to store, way better and more secure.
Answer: That's how mine take long and they scam me but with the help of assets revivelive they help me recover my money They trustworthy, contact them they will help you
Answer: It will take them forever because there are inefficient unorganized and lousy company... you are one of us who trusted this lousy company. You should tell everyone to stay away from this lousy company
