Buyer beware of "free" shipping charges on returns! - I purchased a cross pendant for $52 from this merchant. They advertise free shipping but their return policy will deduct this "free" shipping from the refund plus an 8% restocking fee. I didn't like the item I ordered, and after getting an RMA number (took 2 phone calls and an email to finally get one), I noticed that my refund was only going to be for $29.99. That's right -- they have included $18 of the online price for the "FREE" shipping! So, now I'm stuck with pendant that appears to only be worth about $35, and would only recover 57% of what I paid if I return it! I think a 30% shipping rate is a bit much. This vendor is part of a another company called www.lifetimejewelry.com, so I would be careful about dealing with either of these outfits. Particularly if you think you might ever need to make a return.
