I had a terrible experience with EconomyBookings. They work with shady rental partners — after I paid a deposit, the rental was rejected at the counter and EconomyBookings refused a refund. They hide behind "terms and conditions", although I am eligible for a refund according to their own terms. They side with the scammer agencies they partner with. Be very careful before booking here, you risk losing your deposit and getting no service in return. The bank dispute put everything in it's place, but you will have to go though 9 circles of hell to get there. EB team so you don't give stupid excuses, here's the booking number: B*******

I booked and prepaid a car through EconomyBookings. My flight was delayed by about 1.5 hours, but I arrived at the rental desk with all documents and waited for 30 minutes. They told me my reservation was invalid due to the delay — no car, no alternative, no refund. I contacted support multiple times, explained everything, and still received a cold "no-show, no refund" response, even though I clearly showed up. This is unacceptable. Avoid this company.

Booked a car through EconomyBookings that was completely different from what the rental company had on file. Ended up having to pay $90 extra to upgrade. Mistakes happen, but when I submitted a complaint on March 29, I was told I'd hear back within 7–14 business days. It's now April 20, and still no response. I wouldn't recommend using EconomyBookings if you value accurate bookings or customer service that actually follows up.

Friendly advice: Do not embrace every investment opportunity you come across online because of scam. I've been a victim but now a testimony and that's only because I came across a recovery specialist who interceded and helped in recovering about 18,000 worth of bitcoin from a fake online investment company. The amazing part is how he explains in depth breakdown of relevant information to help you follow through the recovery process. A little percentage of what was fully recovered was taken out as service charge, but nothing compared to how grateful I am for the success. If I could give negative stars I would. I checked all over Thrifty's website and all of Economybooking.com. I ensured that I had the needed money available on my visa (200 over the rental costs) and 500 over the costs just in case I had to use my debit. Economy's site says that they will only refund 48 hrs in advance. I prepared 300+ dollars for my rental off of my Chime card. This transaction went of very smoothly. Economy collected their prepayment. I assumed that things would be fine because the charge went through. 2 wks later I am at the Thrifty rental counter in PDX and turned away because my card was issued from Chime. Because I didn't cancel with 48 hrs notice, I was unable to get a refund. I was left standing at the counter and 300+ dollar poorer. There was no way for me to appeal. I will not use either company again because there was no warning that cards by Chime would be problematic and no way for me to have my funds returned. You would think that if my Chime card could be used to collect the prepayment online that I would be able to use it in-store. You would be wrong.

We were misdirected to take airport shuttle and ended up 30 miles from our car rental agency. It wasn't fun to find out that we couldn't cancel since the entire amount was going to be charged--whether we actually rented the car or not, and no way to transfer the booking! Fortunately, the people at Enterprise were super helpful and we were able to get into town to get a car. No help from economybooking, but thank you Enterprise.
