Not worth the effort

The ability to amend quotations is limited - you often have to cancel everything and start again, which is a pain.

I have ALWAYS found cheaper prices elsewhere too...

Not Happy!

I was enticed by the low prices of the hotels, but after giving them THREE chances, I will NEVER use them again. The hotels were sub-standard and in horrible neighborhoods (I'm a Marine Veteran and I was afraid). Once you pay, you're stuck so you either have to stay there or pay for another room. One hotel told me, upon arrival, that I had to pay $10 "upgrade" for a non-smoking room. Another time I was given the choice of either a smoking room or second floor (no elevator and I'm handicapped). I got in the room and the a/c had been off (over 90ยบ outside). I turned the a/c on full-blast, but it was still hot in the room for hours. The third room had a hole in the wall that was "filled" with wadded up toilet paper and the sheets were threadbare.

I have used expedia many times. They normally have good prices and never have an issue with payment even international credit cards. Highly recommend.

We wanted to make a negative report about a hotel that really gave a bad night to us(BOG Hotel Colombia) but for some reason we were not given the chance to make a review about our terrible night there.

Until the package portion of the app works, doesn't really help with quick trip look ups. The flight and hotel portions work well.

A work in progress

I'm able to check my flight itinerary without a problem. It is wonderful to have it at your finger tips.
It appears this app is still under constructions with more features to come in the future.
Anyone who is a frequent traveler will appreciate the Expedia app.

Another site where i turn to for choices on flights and hotels! I had contacted them by phone on two separate occassions, cancelled the hotel where we were supposed to stay in Ca and booked a future flight to Philippines, they were very helpful and courteous! They make it easy for their customers like me, well they did for me and it made me comfortable... Being with them makes travelling stress free. Of course they refunded my payment in full. Love Expedia!

Generally, I've had good experience booking flights through Expedia. Just do the comparison shopping to make sure you're getting the best deal. The bookings I've done through Expedia have gone smoothly.

I have used Expedia in the past for airline and hotel reservations. I was not please at all with my ability to cancel hotel reservations as I generally wind up paying a penalty even though I stick to the rules about when I must cancel. I won't be using them much in the future.

I recently went to Kansas City, and really appreciated the bundle of services that came under one trip itinerary, and accumulating Expedia points, together with my hotel and airline miles programs. One stop shopping at a guaranteed price is great!
