I signed up originally and paid for a whole year and... nothing...! I applied for all of the outdated auditions and still nothing! Then all of a sudden they call me after a year and say they finally have a part for me but my profile had expired and I needed to pay $500 today. I laughed and said you guys are f***ing kidding me right? They mumbled something and hung up... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS RIDICULOUS COMPANY. GO SPEND THAT MONEY ON LOTTERY TICKETS YOU'LL HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING THAN BECOMING FAMOUS THROUGH THESE PEOPLE!
This exploretalent organization is a complete scam they just want your money they will call and text you about this and that addition with well known actors but as soon as you sign up with them all communication ceased to exist I believe that the whole organization is a scam I've been a member for over a year and have Had nothing come out of it not one audition or anything
I was called just like all of yous and was told the director wanted me in the movie Baby Driver with Jamie Foxx. He then asked if I was in MMA cuz of my pic which Im not. Lol. When I said let me get a few days so I can get the money he started stuttering and saying that I had to do it at that exact moment when filming wasnt for like a month. Not only that he told me filming was in Chicago and if they changed locations theyd pay my expenses to go to the location but when I looked up the movie it was being filmed in Atlanta. No wonder he wanted me to pay right away! Smh. This Companys a joke. Dont waste your time. Theyre supposedly gonna pay you 8 hundred something a day for the movie if you pay 200? Why doesnt the casting director give them that cut out of your pay if they really want you. Its messed up how they play with peoples dreams. O n he said the same thing to me he said to you guys, give me a sec then it was O, your account needs to be renewed when i never even signed up, N not only that Im sure they know U have to pay b4 they call. Smh
I had signed up my daughter with explore talent, After they went to renew my subscription (automatically) but my card had expired, they called me and told me "congratulations, a film producer wants your daughter to audition for Jack Reacher 2, I need her sizes and height etc the pay is $841 per day, is she available?", "of course" I told them. Then they put me on hold while they were going to send her info over to the producer. Then they came back and told me my subscription had lapsed and the credit card on file was expired (Thank God) so I needed to give them a new card to bill me $199.00.The first time i signed up the price was minimal, they said that was a special introductory rate. I told them I didnt have my cards on me, so they said if I called back with the card # they would then send my daughters info to the movie producer. I felt scam so I never called back. Today, 2 months later, I get a call from them again, same thing, only this tie its a guy calling, "HI I have fantastic news! A film producer wants your daughter for his film, the pay is $841 a day, is she available?" so i ride it out...:"sure she is" I say. He asks for all her info again
Then he says I'm going to put you on hold a minute while I get in touch with the people on the film. He comes back a minute later and says, "Gee, the people seeking your daughter for this audition were unable to access your account. Did you know your credit card has expired:? If we can update that now we can get your account active again" Needless to say, I hung up on the jerk.
Pretty lousy trying to get peoples money by giving them false hope.
Any company that is going to make u pay a large some of money before u even get anything going is truely a scam. The site is was too unrealistic.
Explore Talent is a scam- I got a call saying a director wanted me in a movie with Tom Cruise. They said they'd pay me over 800$ each day on set, but I had to do one thing first. I had to pay 300-500$. If I didn't do this I couldn't be in this movie. They also asked me if I had any questions after they told me this and I said, "This is a scam." And right when I said this she hung up immediately.
I made an account last week and wasn't able to make many changes over my phone so I had planned on going on the computer. I didn't know anything about this company but just googled modeling and acting in Denver and they came up. So I never had time to update the things I wanted and today I received a call telling me that multiple agents have been going through my pictures (which I only have one uploaded) and there was a big casting coming to Denver to be an extra in a Tom Hank's movie. As I can see, this is the same rouge they have tried on many of these other reviewers. Deanna from Explore Talent tried to get me to spend 200 for a year membership. I thankfully got off the phone so I could do some research to decide whether something like this would be worth it. I will not be going further with this website and I hope most of you deciding whether or not, please consider spending your 200 on something else worth while!
I applied for the website and I got the free profile. I was ok with that. But then I went to apply for some awesome roles and they said I had to pay $500 to submit the application. I am sorry but I work for a minimum wage job and cant pay that. I really hate websites that try to get money from people who are trying to make their dream come true. That's exactly what they do. If your rich and can get anything you want then go for it. But if your someone like me go to one source talent. If someone really wanted you for the role they would want you and not your money...
Explore Talent is a Company where the talent really feels like a person rather than a number, from prompt bookings to professional career guidance. I had the chance to be in more than one commercial and make some really great connections in the acting and film community here In New York. I highly recommend Explore Talent to anyone looking to take their modeling/acting career to the next level. Damon Snow - Actor, Model
I'd like to thank Explore Talent for acquiring me in an audition here in Los Angeles.
I landed a art of a Comedy Movie and I really appreciate the start of my career.
Thanks Explore Talent and I look forward to having many, many more success stories!
It's a scam! The good reviews are fake. As you will see in other bad reviews, it's all the same! They call, say a casting director wants you in a movie, (in my case, it was a Tom Cruise movie), they are willing to pay over 800 a day on set, will pay all your expenses, but wait! Your app didn't go through because you didn't finish the registration! What do you have to do to finish and get you part in this big Hollywood movie? Oh you just have to pay 300-500 dollars for a year or two year subscription... They told me I had to pay so casting directors could see my profile but then I asked, "Then how did they see my profile to choose me for the movie if they can't see it because I didn't pay for the premium package?" The lady got upset and started name dropping artists names like Snoop Dogg and how they all went through Explore. Then she asked which package I wanted, the two year or one and even offered to drop down the price of what I could pay now. She said that if I didn't act now, the window of me getting in this movie would be closed. I told her that if that casting director wanted me, I wouldn't have to pay a dime out of pocket, since he's is ever so willing to pay for all my expenses. Their website is a joke. The whole "company" is a joke. They didn't get one red cent out of me.
I paid for the year package for my 3 year old daughter. Before I paid my money they were calling sending emails and all, soon after I buy their bs and paid for a years subscription we have not recorded any phone calls. Before we signed up I called myself doing a little research and they are apart of BBB, which I can't see how. Their website is full of auditions that's past dated. The only thing they have sent me is saying their ready to print out my daughters business card and to pick a picture... I don't know how many pictures I picked and she still does not have her business cards, the person who was helping us get started we never heard back from him I believe his name was Robert. I have even went on the website myself and applied my daughter to different outdated things they had and of course no call back or response. I know it is not my daughter because every where we go they ask is she in commercials or something, but this just goes to show that they tell you for real businesses you don't have to pay first. I should've listened because I'm a single mother and now out of 300 dollars to jump start my babies modeling career and it still cease to exist. Please don't be like me and fall for this scam.
This is a total scam don't be fooled by the positive feedback. That's most likley people that work for this company or being paid to post positive feedback. Please don't be fooled...
Explore Talent is for real! I trust them to help me shape my career and thus far they've helped a lot! I have several offers that I picked up on... wish me luck!
Hi everybody, this is Greg. I want to give a big thanks to ExploreTalent. I did my part, applied for auditions, attended casting calls and followed the tips found in the website and now I can see the fruits of my labor. Just a piece of advice, directors won't come to you when you are just sitting there doing nothing, you have to make your move as a member of ExploreTalent.
You can't tell from the way they talk on the phone! What losers!
I learned a lot from Explore talent and I'm really glad I went with them as I enter this career field. As an aspiring singer I am really happy with the process and it was quite easy to sign up through them. Weeks later, they called and told me that I had an interview and the experience I gained from just that interview was more than worth the effort I made. When it comes to service, ET folks have great people and their staff answered all the my questions. I would recommend them for anyone interested in furthering their personal and career development.
Explore Talent is all that it says it is! This is the best to discover what's your talent, modeling etc. I got several offers that I ended up picking the ones to respond back too. Keep it up Explore Talent..
I have my picture on Google Search I've been asking to remove it but all they do is snow blowing me no body has any sympathy when it comes to your personal needs and pivacy it is nothing but a scam be careful.
They said I fit the role for a big time staring Denzel Washington and when I signed up them my money, guess what... No more emails or anything. I was told the casting director would contact me in a few weeks regarding the audition times and details. Guess what... Nothing then when I try to go on my page somehow there site is down. Can't help buy feel like I got scammed. Smh. Don't lisyin to there BS they pretend well. And they got me.
