Best software with the best customer support. I had a small issue of not receiving my product key but customer support was able to help with my issues within minutes.
I signed up to a limited offer for a one week trial. One week later i saw money is removed from my account. I wrote an e-mail to customer service and they gave me my money back very quickly ;).
I used many free programs of this type but none met my expectations as well as Freemake.
I would highly recommend this software! ;)
I signed up to a limited offer for a one week trial to remove logos, I saw no mention of this being a subscription service and the program as know where to see when subscription ends or an option to cancel. One week after the offer money is removed from my account and the customer service where no help. Still well clear from this program its an absolute CON.

I had a problem when I paid. I wrote a wrong e-mail address. Freemake solved it quickly. They send me the key to the correct e-mail address. Great!
You gotta Love this Free make old Lifetime Video converter! Not only does it take a 3.9gb vid and shrink it to 250 MB's but the audio and video are in Hd quality! How did I ever find such a great company and software! They respond right away and offer many solutions to help you and they Rock! Buy all their software! It is all GREAT! I got 5 videos (. Mxf) from TV that recorded one of our events, the files were larger than 10GB, I tried to convert them to mp4 and I tried with many software but failed to convert them, I just downloaded Freemake and converted my files, I also just paid small amount to remove the logo.
Additionally, I got a small issue regarding my subscription, I sent an email to support they replied to me very quickly and refunded the amount to me. That was very good for them.
I'm a PR director, so I often take a lot of photos and videos, which with this video converter are combined into slide shows or films. I have been using this converter for 5 years, I don't like any other. This also has its drawbacks, but there are clearly more advantages. I hope that in the future the conversion speed will be made faster and the program will not freeze.

Freemake provide an excellent variety of products which, in the Audio, Video, DVD and other (related) fields have proved to be the best and most effective of all.
I use the converter mostly for making DVDs from downloaded YouTube music videos.
Recently, when because of a computer glitch, I needed my Gold Pack key restored, Customer Srevice handled it promptly and with no hassles.
I am quite pleased with the product.
Software sucks. Be careful they will keep charging your credit card. They will charge $100 to your credit card if you are not careful.
So far all songs I have downloaded have parts of the song where it completely cuts out all sound, music, voice, etc. I have the Gold Pack service too. There will just be random sections of the songs where nothing is heard then it picks up again skipping part of the song. I put in a ticket with their customer service and it went ignored. They recently had an update to their software but that didn't fix this issue. The converter is useless to me if the songs cut in and out during playback.
On October 15, I received a notice of a paypal payment to Freemake for $9.95. I thought I signed up for free. So I went on to the site to cancel via "ticket request" there's no other way to contact these scammers but through support ticket. Today i got another email saying that since I "did not give my feedback on the ticket for 9 days thus we deem your ticket close, please link below link to reopen your request..." SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS
These guys are terrible. I downloaded a software that did not work for a "free trial". I then cancelled the "free trial" and they still charged me. I emailed their customer support and they couldn't have been more rude and off-putting. They got into an email argument with me saying they will not refund me the $19.95, due the their terms and procedures.
This company must be pretty desperate to be that unflinching over refunding $19.95.
Stay away!
I tried this software out on what I thought was a free trial, decided within an hour it wasn't what I needed and removed it from my pc. Quite a surprise weeks later, after I returned from a trip where I hadn't had much access to the internet, to find that my credit card had been charged seven times@ $4.95 a week. Evidently I'd agreed to this, though I didn't know I had -- but that's my bad.
I'm giving three stars because it seems, from the brief experience I had with it, to be a good product and because to the company's credit they immediately agreed to cancel my "subscription," accompanying this with a defensive explanation that shows they've been getting a lot of complaints about their practice.
Freemake could certainly do more to explain how it works so people know just what they're getting, for how much, and for how long.
Sneaky tactics are used to subscribe customers for auto-renewal services they did not ask for! Avoid this company at all costs!
