I made an online purchase for 4 items for $85, the package never updated on tracking. It just says label created. They're refusing to refund me, and want a police report?! On a package that says "label created?!" How in the world did this package get stolen, when it never left the warehouse! Thefts! My credit card company got me the funds back immediately, but their customer service & company is a FRAUD!
I went in to purchase 2 games they were used one kept glitching out. I called in to process the return they informed that I needed the email of the account I told them I did not have one. Then they asked me when I made the purchase where I made it at what I purchased. Once I gave them all that information they still refused to help stating there was nothing they can do. This company is very incompetent and unprofessional. I would suggest going to Walmart they have a better selection and there returns are easy and simple.
I ordered a online game card. I recieved an order number and it stated an email was sent with confirmation. No e-mail sent. The credit card was charged for the purchase. The lady told me oh we having problems with the website your order is in limbo. She said I start canceling your order. She said it take 5-7 days to get your money. I said will you send an e-mail confirming the cancelation and refund. Oh no she says I will give you a ticket number. What has happened to Gamestop! I ordered online game cards from them in the past but been quite a few months but come on Gamestop. Don't accept orders if your having issues with the website.
Shipping estimated delivery time for orders $40 and over (at the time of this post) is 1-3 day not including weekends and nonwork days but instead takes 7-10 (total wait time on day 5 still counting days (with no ability to track your purchase) unacceptable i will never be ordering via this website in the future due to this ridicules situation with misinformation and lack of customer service.
We bought a ps4 from there and spent over $300 on it and we went to return it because my kids wanted something else. We went to return it and they would only give $38 back worst place to buy a game.

I am a pro member, and I have been for years. I only do it for the magazines, and I haven't gotten them in 4 years now, so I'm done. I pay extra forthe paper copy and have recieved 3 in the past 3 years and 2 digital ones...kinda messed up. No matter who you call or tallk to, nobdy seems to know how to correct it. If i am given the $5 every month, why not the magazine that would attract me to buy new games due to the reviews and such. Game stop, you used to be a king, now you're just a pauper.
I ordered 2 games and they sent it to the wrong address in the wrong state. Customer service blamed me and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told they had the authority and I could not speak to a supervisor and hung up on me. Once I got a hold of the supervisor I was advised they would escalate my request but it would take 7-10 days and advised me I was not allowed to speak to the department that was handling my request. They could not explain how this mistake happened and advised me I was likely out my money and my games would not be replaced. I have never been treated so rudely or had these kinds of issues before and I am appalled that I can't get a real answer other than "WE ARE SORRY AND WE WOULD LIKE TO HELP BUT".
Dealing with GameStop over the last maybe 20 years has been more of a hate relationship than love. They get you cause of ease and proximity. Usually you can find a store within a decent radius of your home. The problem with GameStop is they're a legitimate company with scammer and deceiving tendencies. There will always be a problem if you deal with them, they will find a way to do you wrong or at least my local store in collingdale pennsylvania. Recently I was looking for extra storage for my ps5. They didn't have the one I was looking for so the employee told me and I was ready to buy my game and leave. GameStops manager jumps in and says they do have one and she proceeded to sell me one that does hook up to the ps5 but it doesn't allow you to play ps5 games off the storage drive. By the time I realized the thing was just putting my games back in my game storage and creating storage issues, it was too late. So I am now dealing with a dispute as per usual and I've decided to never deal with gamestop again and tell ppl to just not engage hoping to save them from the pain and strife of dealing with gamestop, they're poor customer service that's essentially there to talk to you and do nothing else and the in store help that is worse than the help of a child gamer online. Please just do not even deal with gamestop if you know what's good for you, they will steal your money every time. GameStop has responded to me by saying it was out of date, that it is compatible with that drive but when I look it up it clearly says you're only able to archive your ps5 games on the drive. I've added a couple photos for help. Something their manager should've let me know before selling it to me for so much money. Please, don't buy from GameStop, go somewhere else where they care about the customer
This is by far the BIGGEST joke of a company EVER! I placed an order online, the tracking is sayings it's been delivered but I NEVER received it. I was told a refund would be made in 3-5 days after the claim, that I couldn't get a replacement, but I never received it back. When I emailed, they told me I would have to file a claim with USPS unlike what I was told on the phone, which USPS is not allowing me to as I am not the sender. I am not understanding why I was lied to about being refunded, and why the order still hasn't arrived. I always purchase in store, I am beyond disappointed this has happened with my first online order with GameStop. I had no idea GameStop done this to their customers! We have been completely ripped off $125, AND the items! Horrible customer service, they do NOT care about you, and lie to keep you from contacting them! Avoid at ALL COSTS! They have lost a customer who has spent at least hundreds just in the last few months in store. I will never support this company again. If the $125 is seriously that important, keep it! BUYER BEWARE!
Ordered a ps5 June 2nd, 2023, about a week ago I got a in stock alert only to find out they were only collecting more back orders, and today they told me instead of filling current online orders they are selling it off to select Major city stores avoid buying consoles from them online at all costs! Please don't make the mistake I did it's w nightmare waiting for it to be delivered it's almost been a month I'm so upset about such. But I have no choice, but to wait so I am.
Missing pre-order bonus (patches). Website previously said bonus would be sent with item, but now says must be picked up in-store while supplies last. Local store no longer has any patches, and said they weren't even sent enough for the people who pre-ordered in store.
I preordered Diablo 4. GameStops tracking service was down so I wasn't able to see when it was shipped or anything. It finally lets us see where the game is 2 days after it was delivered. By this point the game had been stolen out of my mailbox. When I call to get a replacement it takes them weeks to even apply for a replacement. Then they tell me I'm not eligible for a replacement or refund because it was stolen. Maybe if your tracking system actually worked like it's supposed to. My game wouldn't have had a chance to be stolen in the first place. Don't get anything from this place. They're not worried about their customers. They're worried about saving a few dollars.
This store or stop is just terrible the workers are awfully rude too me it's not fair not too mention I look online to see what they have I find something cute nice neat come the next day never have it there
I was looking for a game to play this summer so I walked into Gamestop to get one. I purchased Hogwarts Legacy for my Xbox one digitally. The code on the receipt was invalid and did not work when I tried to redeem it. I contacted Gamestop asking what I could do and they told me to contact Xbox. I did that, and Xbox told me to contact Gamestop because I bought the game from there. I contacted Gamestop again asking for a new code or a refund for the 60 dollars that I spent on the game and they said sorry we can't do anything. They robbed me out of 60 dollars and would not give me a valid code. I would not recommend going to Gamestop. I will not be coming back.
I order 1-3k a year from Gamestop typically. I order about 24 games during their bogo deal recently all "new". 12 of my 24 games came open and half of which came in sleeves...If I want used games I would order as such. I collect sealed and play digitally and sometimes buy used. In any case, I simply want new replacements. I'm given return labels which I need to find someone to handle this as I had surgery and won't be able to do anything for a while. Whole process is frustrating and a waste of time. I know why the company does things the way they do but I shouldn't be inconvenienced by it.
I purchased three Funko Mandolorian boxes since they had the B2G1 offer. Paid 29.99 per box. Went home, my kid opened the boxes with pure excitement. I went on gamestop.com too get more and noticed the price was 16.99 per box. I reached out to gamestop corporate. They took 48hrs to reply and only did so after a follow up email. In a few words, corporate does not price match. Nore did they attempt to satisfy the customer. I went to a different GS store and explained what had transpired to the manager showing a photo of my receipt and the website price. He asked if the website stated that it was an online price. I showed him and it was not. He preceded to tell me that corporate is horrible and will never give money back once they already have it. I was not seeking a refund, I wanted the credit to go towards more boxes. Unfortunately, GameStop does not value its customers. They will be another brick and mortar that shutters in the years to come.
