A bunch of scammers who will steal your money and you'll never see any products! Don't be fooled by any good reviews, they're all scam reviews! Look at the bad reviews and you'll know for sure this is a SCAM company. I've reported them to the Canadian authorities!

Our Indonesian company is signed up as a supplier to this site. In 4 or 5 years we have yet to receive one genuine enquiry. Worse, since the commence of the COVID-19 pandemic we only receive fake enquiries from most likely unverified buyers accounts. Reading on top reviews from customers that where trying to use this site for genuine enquiries it seems that many companies advertising there are just the same scam. I guess I will have to see how to cancel our company account with Global Sources i. O. to not damage our own company image.

I recently placed an order for 130 sheets of stainless steel (304 grade) and was provided assurances the order could be correctly met in the time frame available. Deposit was sent, and I received mill certs, photos, weight estimates... all looked in line. However, when the materials finally arrived, I discovered that the supplier (listed below under several different names) had instead shipped me carbon steel in a very thin gauge. These materials are entirely useless and have no resale value without accompanying mill certs.
Note to all... Avoid the below listed fraudulent suppliers listed on Global Sources. Verified? They won't even restrict these businesses from further collaboration on their site:

I believe the suppliers are regular people contacting suppliers to send samples to seem legit. When they get the large sum of money then you dont hear from them. After paying 30% of the money, they keep coming up with excuses to get more money. These companies are fraudulent and global sources website should really investigate these companies or maybe even be investigated themselves. These are not verified suppliers. They actually use company names then cut and paste their logos. I am starting to wonder if global sources is part of the scam. These sales people keep changing their names, websites, emails, etc. I would not deal with them. I've been trying to find a decent supplier on this site for 3 years and have done nothing but lost money. Oh, and even though they change names, they use the same name for all sales people and at different company, Lily Lin, Claire, Lily, Heidi, Peter, Rita, and Sales. These people do not work for theses actual companies, they are scammers

We contracted with Mos Holdings (also known as Complex Industries) the head office in Hong Kong but factory is in China, to make my custom earrings. Their address is Company: Complex Industrial Company Limited
Address: 20F, Unit F & G Gold King Ind Bldg., 35-41 Tai Lin Pai Rd Kwai Chung. The other websites are: http://www.complex.com.hk/e/default_home.asp and also http://www.mosholdingsltd.com/sc/. The order did not look like the samples. First they were late by 1 month in making the earrings and in that time had mislead me about when the earrings would be finished and pushed back the completion date several times. The also made the earrings in the wrong plating- I asked for 18 K gold, rose gold plated earrings but they gave me 9K gold earrings which were pale and looked terrible. The earring pins broke off easily and they did not plate the earrings well so the base metal was exposed and so it looked rusted. The engraving was done incorrectly on all the earrings as well and bad quality glue was used, so CZ stones would fall off easily. Out of 1,312 earrings that I ordered there were 879 earrings that were faulty. They refused to give me a refund or even discuss the matter and I have still been unable to talk to a manager.

This company seems very good as they do very good samples, but when the actual order is sent - the earrings are made so faulty that they cannot be sold.

Please do not be fooled even though they say they make jewlery for big brands- they are fraudulent.

I have direct experience with GlobalSources.com and have proof in writing from senior executives in a series of emails where GlobalSources.com admitted the "rating" system they call "verified supplier" is based entirely upon how much money they collect from the supplier and nothing more.

I got ripped off by the company CATIC Shenzen Company whom I found through GolbalSources.com. CATIC is a "top rated" supplier as listed on GlobalSources.com.

After they ripped me off I contacted GlobalSources.com and finally they admitted they never "verified" CATIC's capabilities. They simply sent a low level person to a little office only to collect money. There was no verification other than to be sure the check did not bounce. CATIC simply paid for those 4 stars out of a possible 5 stars. (I know about the little office because I visited that office when I was in China to try to get my money back).

Unlike what GlobalSources.com states on their website CATIC Shenzhen has no factories of their own, no research and development, no quality control, etc.

GlobalSources.com is listed on NAZDAQ (NASDAQ-GS: GSOL) but they are based in Bermuda presumably to avoid US tax liability. They were taken public by the bankrupt company Fairchild.
