I want to share my extremely negative experience with the trading platform "Global Sources." Unfortunately, I found that this platform is a haven for scammers and shell companies. "Global Sources" appears to actively support and cooperate with these criminal elements.

Shell companies operating on this platform are even awarded the "advanced" badge by "Global Sources" and presented as trustworthy businesses. This gives a false sense of security and easily misleads unsuspecting buyers. Complaints and evidence of fraudulent activities are ignored by "Global Sources," allowing these shell companies to continue finding victims and committing fraud.

My personal experience with "Global Sources" cost me nearly $10,000. Despite multiple complaints and clear evidence against the fraudulent company, my issue was simply ignored by "Global Sources."

I strongly advise against using "Global Sources." Do not trust the "verifications" on this platform. Be cautious and choose a reliable trading platform. Avoid "Global Sources" at all costs!

I lost a good amount of money to a scammer (MyCanna Inc) trying to order skincare products and it is how people claim that Global Source is 100% hand in hand with these scammers. Let alone expecting any refund but they won't even remove the account after your complaint and proof.

Global sources is totally fraudulent company publishing lies about fraudulent companies as legitimate.
I have lost thousands of Dollars trusting Global sources review of vendors/suppliers.

They have no policy in place to protect customers. I still how scammers get verified accounts. Suppliers will contact you with intentions to defraud but the platform does nothing about if.

I already suspected they were a scam, but then they told me that I would only have to pay shipping and customs in advance then pay the remainder when the item was delivered. But the same day I get a message that my item is held up in Romania and now I have to pay almost the full price in order to get the item released! Just a few hours after making the deal with me,, I asked them to refund my 7000 rupees I had given as down-payment and they refused. Very bad business. Do not use this company.

I paid invoice and did not received anything.

This total Scam. They using accounts of Paypal in Nigeria.

On September 2021,while surfing on Global Sources I came across an EV Car from a verified Company that is Yuanghzou Semotors electric Vehicles Co.ltd,i send an inquiry for the price,specifications etc...
Then after some days I received an email from Steven Wang Yuanghzou Semotors electric Vehicles CO.LTD telling me to do business with him and on his signature its I quote

ADD: NO.16. BAFANGHUI ROAD, YANGZHOU CITY.CHINA
So i was convinced it's a verified company so i bought the EV Car worth USD ******* since October 2021 and till now Jan 2023 i never received the EV Car.
When contacting Global Sources they are telling me that it's out of their platform.BUT THE COMPANY IS A VERIFIED COMPANY ON GL9BAL SOURCES I SAW THE CAR ON THEIR PLATFORM.
It's clear that Global Sources is support these supplier to scamm people around the Globe.

Many terrible Chinese companies are selling over Global Source platform like: Shenzhen TechGroup LIMITED, Shenzhen Muweite Technology Co.,Ltd, YICHUN XINRUI ELECTRIC VEHICLE LTD, Dongguan Bufengzhe Electric Bike Factory and so on.
The problems are:
1. Low quality
2. Guarantee without real guarantee.
3. For the replacement parts during the guarantee period you have to pay shipping and sometimes the parts also.
4. Goods are very often not according to the specifications.
5. Many times no answer to your questions especially if something goes wrong.

The bottom line is that customers always buy a cat in a bag.
Recommendations: DO NOT BUY DIRECTLY FROM THE CHINESE COMPANIES, SUPPLIERS OR PLATFORMS!
MAXIMUM IS TO BUY SOMETHING UNDER EBAY OR SIMILAR BUYER PROTECTIONS!

I would not recommend this place at all. When u use them to send inquiries for a product, it doesn't just go to that vendor. They hv it set up to where other places see it also. So when u get ripped off they dont hv to cover it bcuz they will tell u everytime that the vendor is not apart of their network. I'm telling u rite now none of them r apart of their network. Its all a scam. Also what u see as a product minimum is also a lie. Bcuz every vendor want u to buy a whole shipping container when the post says one box etc. Customer service won't help u at all. Its all about tricking u out of ur money. I checked one star only bcuz it made me.

What´s the point to have a website where all suppliers are fraud...?

I request a quotation in some Chemical product and all these people just ask for "sample" fee... Not less than $200 USD for a sample that they don't even know where to be send...
You must be very naive to send money to any of these low level people...

This is a very bad company to buy anything. One of the sellers scammed me and did not send the product, I wrote to the support service but they did nothing. Until now, this seller sells goods.

Orders test kits for our company, it never reached, they gave us a fake waybill number and ate our money, kindly refrain from using this website

A few months ago, I purchased graphics cards from a seller on Global Sources. Unfortunately, I became a victim of a scam and lost $570. The seller's company was hacked due to their poor security measures, and the scammer was able to infiltrate their website and sell GPUs to unsuspecting customers on Global Sources.

I immediately reached out to Global Sources and requested their assistance in resolving the issue. Initially, I was disappointed by their response as they only shut down the seller's account without providing any further support. I felt that they could have done more to ensure that I received compensation from the seller before taking action.

Update:

I want to update my review as Global Sources eventually solved the issue. I received my lost funds and am grateful for their efforts in resolving the matter.

Although I was disappointed by the initial response, I must acknowledge that Global Sources provided the necessary support to resolve the issue. I would recommend the platform to others, but would also advise caution when dealing with sellers.
