My son bought me a gift certificate $50 and I have not been able to use it. Called and have yet to get it resolved. Recently booked a tee time for the wrong day. Could not get refund and in fact was offered to join membership of $99 and they would refund. I am deleting my app and will NEVER use GolfNow.com

You know you're dealing with a sketchy/shady company when the contact page has zero contact information (See attached pic). If you have to use them, get it right the first time because you will never get a refund. You will only receive discount codes for Monday-Thursday after 12pm. They are absolute trash, and it's a shame that so many courses are to lazy to set up their own website and use this garbage that is GolfNow to set up tee times. Again, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Just call the course directly to set up your tee time.

WHY PAY GOLFNOW? I HAVE NOT LOOKED ON GOLFNOW FOR A LONG TIME. LOOKED RECENTLY AND SAW 1 GOOD DEAL BUT IT WAS FOR A TWILIGHT TIME THAT WAS LIKE 5 MINUTES FROM THE ACTUAL TIME OF DAY. THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS THE "LISTED" HOT DEALS, WERE THE REGULAR OR STANDARD RATES JUST LISTED AS HOT DEALS, I GUESS FOR PEOPLE THAT DO NOT KNOW THE STANDARD RATE. THEN THE NEXT FEW DAYS SINCE, THERE HAVE BEEN NO HOT DEALS EVEN LISTED AND GOLFNOW PRICE LIST WAS THE EXACT SAME AS THE COURSE WEBSITE,,, SAME-SAME WITH NO HOT DEALS LISTED AT ALL!
I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE AT GOLFNOW IN FLORIDA THAT CONFIRMED, THE GOLF COURSES THEMSELVES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING THE "HOT DEALS" NOT GOLFNOW AND THAT THEORETICALLY A COURSE COULD NEVER LIST A HOT DEAL,,, THUS YOU PAY THE SAME PRICE YOU WOULD IF YOU BOOK THROUGH THE COURSE,,, BUT YOU GET CHARGED EXTRA "CONVENIENCE FEES" FOR GOING THROUGH GOLFNOW TO BOOK AS WELL AS TO CANCEL ANY TEE TIMES.
YOU CAN PAY $99 FOR MEMBERSHIP THAT SAVES FEES FOR 10 ROUNDS THEN START PAYING FEES UNTIL YOU GET AN INVITATION TO PAY $199 FOR THE MEMBERSHIP THAT HAS NO FEES...
BUT IN MY COURSE'S CASE, SEEMINGLY WOULD BE PAYING GOLFNOW MONEY,,, FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
SHE ALSO MENTIONED PERHAPS CHECKING WITH TEEOFF.COM FOR DISCOUNTS,,, WHICH YOU NORMALLY WOULD NOT BE TOLD BY A BUSINESS SO EASILY TO GO TO A COMPETITOR'S WEBSITE,,, BUT IT'S ALL CONTROLLED BY ""NBC"".
KIND OF A JOKE! SEEMS TO BE ALMOST A MONOPOLY AS NBC CONTROLS SO MUCH OF THE ONLINE GOLF BOOKING!

I made a tee time at Waterview golf course and showed up and paid and played. Golf now sent me an email saying I did not show and charged me for the NO SHOW that I showed up for because the golf course reported to them that I did not show. I called the golf course and they contact golf now and let hem know. Golf now just called me and refused to refund because they said the golf course did not approve it. The guy at the course is a buddy of mine and he says it has happened before to other people. The golf course does not do anything but honor the tee times they have no say in whether or not Golf now refunds or not. I will never use them again

I HAPPENED TO LOOK AT THE CHARGES ON MY DISCOVER CARD AND WAS SHOCKED TO SEE ALL THE CHARGES FROM GOLFOW. THERE IS NO TELEPHONE NUMBER TO CALL THEM. We booked a tee time on Golf now. Played on Friday
April 15th. Lousy day weather wise but we were
Able to get 9 holes in. After 9 in the pouring rain we
Decided to call it quits. We went into the pro shop
And asked for a 9 hole rain cheque. They told us
Since we booked through golf now they couldn't do
It. They received there money but unable to provide
Us with a rain cheque much to there chagrin we
Would have come back for a full 18 holes and payed
For the extra 9 let alone buy drinks and food and
Maybe something in the pro shop.
I hope they find a new manager who knows how to make better business decisions.

Not a reputable company. Misleading advertising re: Hot Deals vs regular bookings. They direct you to the fine print instead of resolving the issue.

If I could give this a zero rating I would. We booked a tee time for one date, but when I got the confirmation email it was for a different date. A mere 3 minutes later I was able to cancel the tee time through GolfNow. We checked with the golf course to make sure the tee time had been canceled and that we would not be charged and they told us yes. However, GolfNow has now refused to give us our money back and presented us with coupon codes that are only good in the afternoon and on hot deals. They pocketed our money and reposted the same tee time as being available. What a rip off! I wish I had read the reviews before using them.

Yeah, if you can avoid it, do so. I live internationally so it's hard to book times locally and at least this app has 'some' ability to do it. BUT, they double billed me and the Chat person just ended the conversation because "Eviar" didn't know how to resolve it. And oh, read all fine print. The supposed "hot deals" don't allow for cancellations and most of the time I've been able to verify they're actually the same price as deals that aren't 'hot'... within the app itself.

Don't get caught up in their bookings. A total ripoff, customer service is terrible and you will not get a resolution if you have a problem.
All they are are money hungry, and don't care if they screw your or not. You could pass away before your tee time and they wouldn't refund your money.

I urge golf courses to not get affiliated with them as they will wreck your clientele and cause many upset customers that will not come back to your course due to how they have been treeted!

I made a t-time for January 27,2022 at St Lucie Trails and I prepaid $186. Due to Covid we never made it to Florida from Colorado
so I cancelled the reservation on January 25th and have come to find out that their fine print says there are no refunds. What a ripoff, never, never will I ever do any business with this crooked company.

Have used this service off and on over the past few years and would highly recommend against this site. I just had to cancel a tee time in Mesa with friends after two of the guys tested positive for covid and our 4-some had to cancel. They kept the $436 and said that we had a Hot deal that could not be refunded, yet this course was busy and surely rebooked the teetime, as we cancelled days ahead and there is very high demand this time of the year. I have had problems getting a refund previously and the deals that they offer are simply not worth the $10 savings. Trust me and book directly and dont use this service unless you expect a hassle.

Please avoid using golf now. They add on extra fees and support is awful. Their app defaulted to a different day and I booked a deal that they would only cancel the time and not refund. The same deal is the same rate on the courses site. So I lost my time I paid for and all the money.

Support would only send over a promo code (which I had used on this order).

Save yourself the headache and money, boom through the course.

Will never recommended this rip off or use again.

We notified the golf course that we would be 1 short of our foursome due to covid 2 days prior to tee time. On golf day we were notified that we were all exposed to Covid. We turned around and did not play rather than exposing folks at the golf course. We got a charge on our credit card, we notified GolfNow of the unusual situation, their reply, "it's policy". I deleted my profile in response.

Called oceanview golf course and booked a tee time for 12/24 at 12:20. On the day of play I arrived about an hour early got to the pro shop and told them who i was and my tee time, and was told that they were closing early and they had not gave any tee time's out after 10:30 that morning. I showed the guy behind the counter my confirmation number and text, he said that text was from golf now. Golf now routinely answer's their phone if no one picks up after a couple of rings. So I called golf now customer service, what a waist of time, and they flat out denied that they had made the tee time. They want to blame it on the golf course. I talked to a girl on the phone when I made the tee time and the golf course has no women that work's there. Needless to say I won't be using golf now.

I have being using Golf Now fo many years. Was happy with that. Suddenly they stopped working. Sorry, an error have occurred. First when I should pay. Now when I choose a Teetime they try to download the site, but just stop. Have deleted my account, have reinstalled the app. Was in contact with Golfnow and they could not help. I use now Canam but what's happening with Golfnow. The same happens when I try Teeoff. They also stopped working when they gathered with Golfnow. They advertise but don't work, and impossible to call or sending an E-mail to them. Someone with the same experience?

Wanted a foursome but GolfNow site offered three twosomes, for same time at same course so I purchased the first but the other two that were offered were no longer available. I immediately canceled through the link in their email confirmation and received a cancelation confirmation but later was informed they don't provide refunds. They gave me 7 $20 coupons I could use one at a time on their site that expired in a year. No thank you. Not a company I recommend or will ever do business with again.

I booked a round of golf with my wife, we were driving to the course and received a phone call from the golf course warning us that the course was flooded and in rough shape. We asked how bad was it and the guy said it was really wet and probably shouldn't even be open. We then said that we aren't going to take the 45 minute drive to play so they cancelled our tee time. When I got home, I checked and noticed that Golfnow had our reservation listed as cancelled, so I just left it alone. Our credit card bill came and Golfnow still charged me for the round. What a complete rip off, I will never book through them again and will lobby everyone I golf with to stay away from them.

I was a member for several years and it was so good. It was more expensive but with unlimited cancel, amazing hot deals (now call the course same price), the rewards were stunning now unusable, even the fees which were unlimited are now limited. Basically move on as terrible!
