Visual Artists Guild condemns this for-profit business site http://thehungersite.greatergood.com/clickToGive/ths/petition/TiananmenSquare in victimizing the victims and relatives of the victims of Tiananmen once again by using the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Tiananmen Massacre for their marketing purpose.
Is nothing sacred anymore? Is it not enough that the Chinese government whitewash the history of Tiananmen, murdered hundreds if not thousands of Chinese citizens, continuously vilifying the students of Tiananmen, prevent the victims' family from even having a private grave site memorial each year, that a for-profit business entity GreaterGood.com would use this occasion of sorrow to take advantage of the good will of good people and entice them to submit their names and email addresses?
Do not submit your name to them.
Please warn others about this site GreaterGood.com and expose them as who they really are - an unscrupulous business using others' misery to make a buck. How sad!

I ordered a necklace from this company. The first time I wore it, it broke. I emailed the company about the broken necklace. The customer service rep asked me for the model number. I did not have the model number, so I sent a photo of the item. After sending the photo, I was told it was past the 45-day return window, so they could not help me and would not be replacing or refunding the item.

I placed an order in the evening and when I received the confirmation email it had changed one of the items I order from black to purple. When I immediately called they were closed. I went on line again and the item was no longer offered. It was a Black or Purple Paws slap watch. When I called this morning as soon as they opened they stated that watch was sold out of black and that I took the last purple. I asked to please credit my account as I hated purple. Alex stated order was already shipping. I must say I was not happy. Its not the money but the fact that because black was sold out they sent me purple. Now I have to send it back which will cost me money. This is wrong and I will never use this company again. Poor customer service. Sadly. I donate hundreds yearly with Pet Rescue and will continue but never use this company again.

This is a great website for helping out without it costing you anything. I first found out about them through our local humane society. If you go onto their homepage you will see a variety of charities to click on. Let's start with The Hunger Site. The next page displayed you will see a line of tabs at the top of the page that you can go to each site with. There is also a box to "click for free to give". Sponsers count the clicks and donate money. The Hunger Site feeds people, The Breast Cancer Site provides free mammograms, The Animal Rescue Site helps homeless animals and also a few times a year they have a Shelter Challenge contest where you can vote for your favorite shelter and they have all kinds of cash prizes to be won, The Veterans Site helps with meals for veterans, The Autism Site provides therapy for autistic kids, The Child Health Site provides medical care for children, The Literacy Site provides books for children and The Rainforest Site helps preserve rainforest land. CLICK across the board and give. It's the first thing I do every morning when I go online. There's also a store to buy things that gives a percentage of what you spend to the charity you link to the store from. Please take a few moments, or longer, to check it out.
