I ordered a sub box for my sons 2014 dodge rame installed all components and the sealed box leaks more air than if it was ported. Aparrently it's my fault the box leaks. How the hell is that possible when I didn't build it. They are the Big Lots of car stereo equipment. Spend a few more bucks somewhere else!

Long story short they advertise direct fit replacement speakers for your car. Ordered a pair that did not fit. After many emails back and forth they offered to replace them even though they didnt offer ones to fit. WHAT?! Then they refused to pay shipping on the return and would not refund any money because it was "against company policy" Exchange only. I tried to explain that they didnt offer any that were exact replacements as they advertise but it didnt matter. Tell your friends. Stay away from them. Horrible business ethics.
Ordered car speakers for my truck which their site are replacement speakers. They don't fit. So I return them and decide I'm going to go to a local store so I don't have this problem again. They charge me a 20% restocking fee. Their site said it would fit and they don't and I get hit with a fee. They said the speakers can no longer be sold as new, even though they were never used. Company sucks
"Ordered two amps from them. First arrived broken because they pack them horribly. Returned it for a full refund, second arrived packaged the same way (you're shipping electronics you idiots!) after connecting it and testing it in my boat the amp started smoking and potentially could have caught fire in my boat had I not been monitoring it. It was 100% hooked up correctly. I had to pay out of my own pocket to send it back which is ridiculous then to boot they charge me a $20 restocking fee. RESTOCKING FEE?! RESTOCKING A DANGEROUS FIRE HAZARD OF AN AMP?! This company is a joke, There is no way this stuff is Kicker factory refurbished. Shop elsewhere, you've been warned

I purchased a speaker set last month that was advertised as a factory replacement for my vehicle at a reasonable price. It arrived quickly and appeared to be new product. That's where the positives ended.
When I opened the boxes they had different connectors than the factory speakers and one set wasn't even close to fitting the cut outs... They tried to sell me adapters (the wrong ones) and when I questioned the fit and requested an RMA I was told I would have to pay for shipping. I questioned how they could sell a product that wasn't a factory replacement as advertised and I shouldn't have to pay for shipping. Several calls and a disconnected chat line later I finally ended up calling and disputing the charges with the credit card company. Now they are saying I may have to pay a 20 percent restock fee because the dispute has taken more than 14 days Their own receipt says they strive for 5 star reviews and will make things right at no cost to myself if there is a mistake or damaged product... This is a boldfaced lie... PLEASE look at their return policies closely or better yet, do not purchase anything from these guys...
If you are tempted by their good prices only buy under the umbrella of Ebay because that is the only people they seem to try and make things right by to try and keep their sellers status in good standing. There are thousands of bad reviews on these guys online and their status with BBB is poor... Do not look strictly at the ebay reviews which is what I mistakenly did... They do not accurately reflect this companies true nature...
I ordered a stereo kit for my vehicle, they sent me what "I ordered" however there was a hiccup. My vehicle comes with 2 different types of harness. Well I called customer service and you know what! They are sending me the right harness. I didn't have to threaten or be rude or even defensive. My representative was polite and glad to help make things right. I would refer them to anyone and would definitely do business with them again. Thank you hifi sound
Ordered an amp/subwoofer from their website, then realized (at the very bottom under "specs", which isn't where "condition" should be) that it was a refurb item. Emailed their customer service within minutes to cancel the order. Upon receiving my email, they responded that I could pay them $75 more for a new item or they'd charge me a $17 "cancellation fee". They were extremely rude and I've never heard of any reputable company punishing customers for accidental (or in this case, ordering something that didn't have a transparent condition noted) ordering. The standard process response should be: "Oh okay, no worries! The item hadn't even shipped yet, here's your money back!" Yet they want to charge people 10% of your total order (so if my order had been $1500 they'd want to keep $150 for providing me absolutely no product or service at all) if you cancel before shipment.
Garbage company. Garbage policies. Garbage transparency. Garbage customer service.
Steer clear. Shop at a big box store who will treat you the right way and hold themselves accountable, rather than try to gouge you simply because they have some communist return policy tucked away on their site that no other company would dare have.
This website and business is quick to pass the buck and not accept resposibility! Item was ordered from Missouri which they are located and to be delivered to Illinois! This is next day standard shipping depending the time that you order! That is standard within all main states next to each other especially with large cities! FedEx and UPS always!
Well, I ordered a item and it took multiple days to arrive and no one has answers and is too late for what I needed the item for! And of course if you return it because if someones horrible work ethic within the business, we are to be charge a 20% restocking fee when the Effed Up the order. I called them/Hifi and I stated you record the conversations and your customer service employee stated that the item I ordered would arrive as above stated, no if ands or butts! And, you/hifi customer service should have that recorded conversation and support what was stated and recorded unless you was lying and jus not being honest in anyway! Was blown off and product was late! Horrible! Will never order again!

I'd offer zero stars if it were a choice. They have a strong ebay presence, so if there is a way to steer people away from them over there, that'd also be a plus. I ordered (through their website, not ebay) 3 items in total, for around $200. The first item was a 5 channel amplifier for my car which a few days later I received an email stating that their "last item" was "damaged" and that I could get a different amplifier for a mere "$10 upcharge". I figured this was bait and switch, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I just asked them to cancel that part of the order, and they did. They refunded me the entire price of the item minus about a dollar, but I wasn't going to squabble over that. The 2-channel component speakers I ordered came in and look just fine, but I also ordered a 4-channel line output converter and received a 2-channel converter. I immediately (before even opening the packaging) sent them an e-mail, the requested pictures, etc. They sent back to me, "we'd like to offer you a $10 store credit on your next purchase." Right. Like I'm ever going to order from these folks again. After going back and forth with them for over a week now exchanging emails, and finally just asking for a refund of the purchase since it was obvious they weren't ever going to send me my 4-channel converter, they have stopped responding whatsoever.
I'm now filing with the FTC (non-receipt of ordered item), the BBB, and going to places like here, in an effort to steer people away from their business.

I had the worst experience ever! Purchased the LAUNCHpad MIDI controller bundle with cases(179). I received the LAUNCHPAD but no MIDI controller or cases. When i called the first time i was told they would ship the rest. It's been almost a month. I've called, chatted online and emailed-all numerous times. The response i was told is that the items would ship from manufacturer. Also told to call the manufacturer which makes NO sense at all. I bought it from them and they think i'm going to call novation and ask where my order is- complete LIES! So, in a nutshell, i was told that the MIDI controller and cases are worth $10 and that is all they will refund or i can send back for a refund. NOT FALLING FOR THAT ONE!
Labyrinth SPL Bass speaker Box is the best. FEDEX DAMAGED IT in shipping and I would send it back to be replaced but why bother if they're the ones shipping it. Big ups to HIFI Sound

Ordered lights on Friday and their sales agent said it would be shipped out Monday and I will receive it Thursday with 3 day ground fedex delivery. I specifically said I need the lights by Thursday for an event.
I Emailed and requested for tracking number on Monday. Got a reply saying it would be shipped that night. On Tuesday morning, still no tracking number received. I called by the afternoon and was told the package will be shipped that night. I expressed to the customer svc rep that it is a day LATE and will need it shipped via 2 day ground so it will still be received Thursday. The rep seemed to have no control of the situation and said he will call me back to see what he can do.
I didnt get a call back and I received a tracking number on Tuesday night instead. Found out pkg will be shipped on Friday, which is no use to me since my event is on Thursday night.
This company is a disgrace to the event industry professionals. Rest assured your lack of professionalism and accountability will be known in the whole Tristate area of MD, DC, VA. I sit on the board for all of the event networking groups and my experience will be shared.
My failure to deliver on my client's event on Thursday sits on your reputation."
I ordered a small connector from them and immediately received an email stating that while shipping the part they discovered it was damaged. They stated that there would be a delay while they waited for their supplier to provide a replacement part. After a month of them telling me they should have the part soon, I asked for a refund. I will say this, their customer service responded promptly to all of my emailed inquiries and did provide me a refund in a timely manner; however, I will never order from them again. I do not believe they ever had the part that was "damaged."
I called in to check to make sure before making a purchase that they have the item in stock, talked to a sales person on August 3,2015 morning, seemed nice on the phone, placed an order, credit card charged. 3 hours later got a call back from a different person, sorry we stopped carry that item, will refund your money or keep as store credit. Told them to refund and they did 2 days later (August 5,2015). Now, August 6,2015 there are 8 charges in different amounts showed up on my credit card. Thanks for screwed up my credit card.
Their page said "In stock and ready to ship within 48 hrs of receiving payment" for a small car stereo adapter I ordered and paid for, on the ORDER confirmation page it told me that I would receive shipping/tracking info within 48 hours, well after waiting and hearing NOTHING for 8 days I contacted these low life scammers and was rudely told by Blacky errr Jacky that "They are out of stock on my item", they sure took my MONEY really fast, but when the hell were they ever going to inform me of such a very long wait? They claim to be open and operating 7-days per week, so WTF was the hold up in telling me ANYTHING? So I told them to cancel my order and the she-chimp cut me off, lets see how many months it takes to get my money back, good thing I always only buy thru paypal!. And to the nerd who claims they US Gov will do something, anything, I have news for YOU pal, wake up, smell reality and guess again nerd, unless your scamming the gov out of their getting YOUR tax $ they will NEVER do a damn thing! I went to their site to order a replacement antenna for my car. I placed the order and got this message: "I am sorry, your bank has rejected the payment. Please contact your bank to determine why or use another credit card or form of payment." I called my bank and the agent said they authorized payment FOUR TIMES to these clowns!
When I asked for help, none was given. When I called back to speak to a supervisor, they hung up on me! When I called a third time, I got a supervisor who didn't know his butt from a tea-kettle! No good can come from patronizing this company. Look for your products from ebay or Crutchfield instead.
These guys will take your money and ship you an empty box. Agree with all the other reviews. Purchased an Ipad stand that didn't work, had to pay half the cost of the item to return it (no free shipping), then i only get store credit, no refund. Butt they don't carry what i need so it's useless. Really poor customer service in this day and age.
