I ordered a "custom fit" suit from Hockerty. There is absolutely NO WAY this suit was cut for me. I gave specific measurements which I have used before, so I know they are accurate and true. The suit I got was at least 2 or 3 sizes too big everywhere. Pants were too long and too wide, jacket sleeves were too long and too wide, jacket chest was too wide, waistcoat vest was too wide. Everything was huge. When I contacted customer service, it took them 24 hours at least to respond to every message I send, and they told me they wouldn't refund my money, even though this suit was clearly not cut for me. They offered a "free remake" but it would take 2 more weeks of time that I don't have, since I needed this suit on a deadline - and I ordered 6 weeks in advance, so it's not like I waited until the last minute. Once I told them that I didn't have time to wait for a remake, and that I didn't trust their work anyway and therefore didn't want a remake, they ignored me. Only after I left a bad review on TrustPilot did they respond to me and offer to reimburse me for the exorbitant tailoring costs necessary to make this suit fit me. They then told me they would pay for tailoring *only if* I agreed to take my review down. I told them I would - and they still ignored me and have since refused to contact me or cover the tailoring costs. This company is a scam and fraud - I encourage ALL to NOT SPEND MONEY with this horrible company.

Basically, they will not stand by their products. I had some good experiences and was becoming a regular customer. Then, over ONE item that they would not stand behind our relationship is now over. I'm pretty sure the law requires them to offer a refund for sub par item, but whatever. They just want to bicker and fight and write 100s of emails (days apart). So, no more Hockerty for me. The hassle is not worth it.

The worst quality, very thin and see through and wrong measurements. Avoid at all cost this scam. I would not recommend to anyone.

I was hired to do alterations for Hockerty the quality and workmanship of suits are extremely poor. They do not pay their billls I would highly recommend you stay away from doing any sort of business with them

The suit is OK. It's nothing spectacular which is sad due to the price that you pay. My biggest gripe is their shoes/boots and customer support. First, they take anywhere from 1 day to 5 days to forget about you and not respond to your inquiries. They need to update their sizing helper/assistant/program that is supposed to help you pick the right size. Works well for centimeters but inches, it does not. The shoe size was 4 sizes too small due to their poorly made website. I knew that the shoe was too small yet they still said take it to a shoe repair to stretch it out. I humored them and a week later, surprise surprise, it still doesn't fit. I told customer support and didn't hear back for 6 days. Once I did, they said return them and they will make new ones, fine, but I was never given instructions on what to do, no return label or even an address to send it too. When I asked I was again ignored for 4 days. What a waste of money and time.

I wish I could give them negative star review as their customer service is abhorrent and severely lacking. Honestly I think they are a scam. I've tried to resolve the issue of the bait and switch and they are useless. I ordered a "custom suit" lol that was not custom nor was it the suit I ordered not even the material or color was what I had ordered. Stay away- buy local!

Our wedding color is green, my fiancé and I ordered a GREEN suit.

When the suit was delivered not only was a brown suit sent, but the jacket had one side that was at least an inch and half to two inches longer on one side.

The vest is too short and the top vest button starts about 4 inches too low.

The pants are reminiscent of 90s parachute pants, and as I am NOT the great MC Hammer, they are not usable.

Sergio's grammatical error riddled response, was that colors are subjective and that because he disagrees with me (I have a Bachelor's of Fine Arts)… there's nothing that can be done. The illusion of green on the website must have been "lighting", in his opinion.

I have a brown suit for sale if anyone is interested in a clown suit modeled after a 1970's news caster.

I wanted a specific color of suit for my wedding and couldn't find what I wanted locally so I decided to look for made-to-order suits. And after viewing all kinds of videos on YouTube about how people ordered them, the Hockerty looked like a good option. So I placed an order, provided with measurements, and was done. The suit arrived on the 3rd week, looked okay, but was overall big. So I created a big support ticket that is big, We redid all the measurements and they suggested 3 places that would be able to fix it at no cost to me. I chose the closest one and the guy took 3 weeks to do nothing with it and then fix it in one day and mess it up. I'm trying to reach out to Hockerty and with no luck... they say that your support ticket was fixed and nothing else can be done... so now I have a suit that I cannot use, 2 weeks before my wedding and I don't have a suit to wear... would not recommend, get a regular suit from a store that fits...

Company refuses to take back shoes ordered in standard size claiming they were made to measure. Lol. I can only recommend to avoid buying anything from this company based on my shopping experience.

Custom suit not guaranteed! I had my suit measurements done by a tailor and my suit does not fit me. Can't get any response from Hockerty. My suit was shipped out of China without any invoice/paperwork at all! It's like the company doesn't exist!

The whole suit is just a bad joke.
It came cramped in a plastic bag and of course was super wrinkly and i was pissed that i have to take it to the dry cleaner before i could wear it, but after trying it on i know i don't have to take it to the cleaner, the trash is where it belongs.
Bad quality fabric and stitches, bad cut bad everything.
My 20 year old 200€ h&m suit looks and feels better.
I know that they are stating no returns as it is "custom made" but i have to meet my lawyer next week anyway…

I ordered 4 dress shirts. The shirts looked beautiful. Unfortunately, I did not wear them for a couple of months as I was traveling. [2 are still wrapped/ unopened] the two that I did after I sent them out to the laundry and the came back 3" too short in the length, and 1.5-2" short in the sleeves. I contacted hockerty as their return webform was disabled. When I emailed them I was told it was past their return date.not washed properly? Actually the laundry is quite expert in washing shirts. They said that the shirts weren't cut properly to compensate for the fabric shrinkage, hockerty DOES NOT stand by their product.

I ordered a suit in April. It arrived 4 weeks later and was too big, too long, unevenly cut and generally horrible. Hockerty offered to remake it, but I needed to pay 50 euros for shipping. I did that. The next suit arrived mid June, and was still too big. The measurements I provided, and which were correct and checked multiple times, were not applied. I was tight on time, so I decided to ask Hockerty that I will take the suit to a tailor myself, but they said if I do, I will only be reimbursed in store credit, because the suit qualifies for another remake. Another remake would've been another 50 euros in shipping costs. Hockerty refused to send a refund in cash, saying the conditions of the guarantee were clear, and informing me that the refund in cash would've been possible if I chose it the first time, but since I had one remake already, they need to do the second one as well.

I paid 350 for the suit, 50 for the fist shipping, and 130 in remake costs. I got store credit of 87 euros.

I recently placed an order for a custom shirt and jeans from this store, but unfortunately, both items turned out to be ill-fitting. I must advise others to steer clear of this store entirely.

I have had positive experiences ordering custom clothing online before, particularly from a tailor store, where I received a well-fitted shirt using the same measurements I provided to Hocerty. Considering I have a trusted tailor store in London as well for my shirts and suits, I was fully confident in the measurements I shared with Hocerty.

Regrettably, my experience with them left me feeling disappointed.

My son and I ordered 2 linen suits. They came faster than stated with dhl and the fit could not be more perfect! Materials are great. I am totally happy with every aspect of this purchase.

Get your suit from anywhere else. They got my money and basically gave me the middle finger from there.

Ordered a garment from them and overall I liked it but it was totally the wrong size despite my measurements being exact. They state that you can either have a garment remade or they'll pay for tailoring but this is misleading. I asked them to remake the garment since it wasn't my fault but they refused and told me to go to a tailor. Strange, since it should be up to me as to how I rectify the situation. I sent them the tailor's invoice but they would only refund a portion, which is not clearly communicated on their website. Horrible customer service. Will not be using them again.

I decided to order a pair of chinos to try the company out. Sent in leg measurements, which were confirmed by Hockerty, but the pants they sent were 2 inches short. Customer service was responsive and requested me to remeasure,. Which were the same as before. Sent me a remake of the pants, which was the right leg length but an inch shorter than the measurements for the waist. Also the belt loops in the back were not equally spaced from the center. I can use a waist expander button to get to the right length, but doubt if I'll reorder from this company based on my experience. Pluses: customer service, good quality fabric, good price for custom, reasonable delivery time. Cons: Pants measurements off both times. I'm not sure where the issue is when they have the exact measurements, but the final product is significantly mismeasured. I think the solution for me is to get good quality pants and have them altered by a local tailor. This will cost more than Hockerty however.

Ordered a custom suit for an event and was delivered the cheapest quality items I've ever seen (velcro attachments and measurements 6+ inches off to the point I was wondering if I was delivered someone else's suit) and when going through the adjustment process was not given a solution to have it altered adequately or returned. All sales are final according to hockerty and their products are absolute trash. Save yourself some money and either go in person to a shop or order from Proper Cloth which has been the complete opposite experience. I'll never buy a thing on hockerty again.
