The services offered are great and competitive. They set up process is fairly quick and easy, even for someone like me who is not an expert. Unfortunately, the customer service experience (for me at least) has not been the best. I have had to call on issues only to get wrong and unclear information.

While HostGator has been a reliable web hosting provider, I am disturbed about seeing the price of services double in two years.

In the past I've had a lot of issues with not getting emails from Hostgator when my payment doesn't go through, with the automatic payment not going through, and not being notified. But i think that issue has finally, after several years of problems, been resolved.

Had problems with website being blocked in the past and very poor response and ownership by the provider to fix the issues.

No problem, loaded the site. It loaded well, no problems. I used FileZilla to load my website. The site loaded fine no problems.

Once we determined what needed to be done, it was handled quickly.

We transferred out sites from another hosting company. Our sites are now so face, secure and stable. We are so happy for HostGator.

The platform has been reasonably easy to use. I have had issues with integration of WordPress features that I would like to use for my 3rd party booking system, but it seems that the newest version of HostGator may be working those features in. Support has been timely and the other features and ease of use has been good. Have stayed with HostGator for 6 years. I don't intend to transition to any other platform.

I needed to call daily for updates. JD, with whom I spoke a few times, made commitments about fees being waived and work being done that he was not able to deliver on. I had to explain the problem to Hostgator many, many times by both email and phone. Everyone I interacted with was either unable or unwilling to help. I was eventually able to use online research and YouTube to get the information I needed to just do it myself.

Overall, a poor customer experience and plan to move my account prior to the next renewal.

It is simple to use. Support staff is always willing to assist with any issues I might encounter, even when is related to my lack of knowledge and experience creating a website.

Overall experience is nice. Whenever I reached out to the technical team for any help, they took quick initiative to resolve them.

Each time has been a breeze to manage. However, some tabs are not easy to find.
