I ordered a white dress for $95 on the 18/01/2022 to give it heps of time to get here, a whole month however, I live in Western Australia it was sent to Victoria! My billing addresses was correct but the tracking code was under someone else name in VICTORIA!. Can't find a phone number to call and I've sent 4 emails no response.
BEWARE: They don't cover the cost of returns and there returns warehouse is in Spain, the cost of return for a large wedding dress is exorbitant/incredibly high. I had to pay £140 to return a dress. - it then got stuck at customs for 4 months - and I still have not had my money back after all this hassle.
I brought a £800 wedding dress online, which looked nothing like the picture & the material felt really cheap (the colour was like a pale yellow, not ivory/cream or white… YELLOW, the fit was odd and the dress was far to big even the smallest size) - but no worries right, I'll just return it. WRONG.
My mistake, I didn't realise House of CB didn't cover the cost of returns - I thought I was just shipping it back to a returns depot in the UK, however you have to ship it back to Spain - It cost me £60 in order to return the dress due to how big it was.
This isn't the worst part though, my return was held at customs in Spain for nearly 4 months so I contacted them to ask what was going on. They said House of CB refuse to accept the return as they refuse to pay the custom fees as the dress was worth £800 (in case the parcel got lost) - so they returned the dress to me.
When they returned the dress to me I had to pay £20 in custom fees. I contacted House of CB about this and they were unhelpful and said I need to return the parcel again but declare the dress as less then £100 (when the dress is worth over £800) - this is crazy, as what happens if the dress gets lost or damaged - I loose £800?
So I'm total, I've had to spend £140 in returning a wedding dress.
Do not buy from this site, it's a scam. I Bought 2 dresses in Dec and after 1 month and a half I still haven't receive them. Multiple emails and no answers. Lost my money. Stay away!
Primark is better quality! Dont expect to keep the item for too long, it will ripp off immediatly after you wear it.
And you will never get a refund, once they have your money, they keep it!
The company is registered in Honk Kong, they dont care about trading standards, its a DROPSHIPPING business, where the owner mark up clothes prices to 200%!
My dress was sent to the wrong address and I was told I would get a full refund within 7-10 business days. It has been over three weeks and have not received a refund yet or an email back regarding it.
I'm 4ft 11 in and their corsets suck. I'm also a 32A and my waist is 27. Very size uninclusive for petite women with no chest. It's also hard to find a tailor willing to alter it cuz the boning is attached to the fabric of the top. It's better getting a corset somewhere else than here. It'll just be a waste of your money.
I sent my dress back about 4 months ago, a 240$ dress. Just for it to get sent back to me. They have stopped replying to my emails. Not offered any help. Will never purchase from them again! Do not recommend
If i could give a zero i would. The service of the company is the worst. Normally i never write a bad review even if my experience is bad. But this company has shocked me for real. I ordered a top that didn't fit and wasn't true to size at all so i sended it back immediately as return 1 day after receiving it. The top couldn't even close. Now they are saying that it's worn an has marks on it so i asked for pictures and they couldn't find anything they send a picture without any marks on it lol, just an excuse to keep the money. I asked for a phone number to contact the manager or something but they don't have a phone number and don't reply to emails. They still kept my money and never got it back. Be careful with this company because on instagram they seem very nice and offering high quality and all that but in reality everything is horrible about this company.
I live in Australia and have bought two dresses from house of cb one last year and one 5 days ago for my formal… both dresses arrived in 4 days! It's super fast shipping, great packaging and my two satin dresses have the best feeling on my skin. Whenever I have contacted houseofcb via Instagram/email they have replied quickly. Thank you! Couple of lose threads where the zipper is which is an easy fix, everything else is perfect.

They have misleading delivery dates so you can put an order in hoping it will come in time. I placed an order for my birthday after finally getting it through because their system kept kicking me out saying it was error on my card in which it wasn't. I placed my order in hopes of receiving it before my dinner and then I email to see what's going on they insist they're having order delays after they haven't stated any of that on there website prior to putting the order in. This is horrible. Now I have to cancel my dinner. Such a inconvenience because I desperately depended on this dress since they said it would come in time. Never shopping here again.
Got shoes that were delivered with the soles of the boots literally peeling off the bottoms. L no customer service, no return and exchange policy that makes sense - simply not worth the money and effort.
I am very annoyed to find that this stuff ships from east asia which has some of the worst ethics for factory laborers. Where is this money going to? All to the owner I assume since I'm paying over $300USD for a piece of cloth from a sweatshop. Also take WEEKS for the item to come in. If you want the quality for the cost look elsewhere.
I emailed to confirm the status of my order since they said it had been dispatched yet days passed and no information was available on UPS. Their response was so impolite and I haven't even gotten the clothes yet. I'm reading other reviews and am scared I wasted my time for clothes that won't even be like the pictures. If you're looking for fast delivery like is promised when you make the purchase, look elsewhere!
I placed an order for my Birthday dress over three weeks ahead even though it said "three day shipping". It had been three days past the delivery date and there were no location updates. I contact them and UPS and they finally shipped my package after I sent a list claim (they probably lost it and didn't notice it wasn't moving until I asked). The dress finally got here the Monday of my birthday party (a week after it should've) and unfortunately it was too big. I contacted them to see if they could ship a smaller size in time for the party (since the claim 2-3 day shipping and I still had 4 days to the party). They told me to place the order and they would monitor it. Two days later UPS still says they have not received the package. I have to contact them yet again and tell them it won't get here on time and if they haven't delivered the package I want it cancelled. The next day there is finally a location on UPS and they let me know it can't be cancelled and will get here on Monday when I needed it by Saturday. They have no idea where their packages are and both times they weren't shipped until I contacted them which is not something a costumer should have to do. Very disappointed in this company since they failed me with the delivery both times, once by OVER a week and only after I set up a claim!
Sent the wrong style and size and took 2 months to give me a return label. Sent it back and they never returned my money. Product was not AT ALL as advertised.
I ordered the same top twice bc the sizing was so off. I ordered a large + and it still wouldn't zip even through the size chart said it should be loose. Also on top of it all the clothes stink of a fish smell- this is likely from the packaging it comes in but it is still so gross and doesn't go away until it is hand washed.
I bought a dress in july they took my 130 pounds and I never received the dress till October, no letting me know they had production problems no communication, no voucher code because of the inconvenience disgusting. I got the dress it looked like dirty dish water colour, I sent it back and asked for another dress in exchange which was 20 pounds more, I asked for them to send it and waiver the difference since I waited three months for my previous dress after they said it was in stock when I bought it. The cheek they asked me to pay 20 pounds on a gift card, yeah no thanks mate I won't be buying from you anymore your a joke. Your stuff is over priced your customer service is disgusting and you expect me to pay more when I waited three months for a dress to arrive. I've asked for a refund. What a joke.
Bought a dress and was mislead by unrealistic delivery dates, so I canceled my order. Received my refund 3 days later & House of CB charged my card AGAIN, without any permission. No warning, no email. Simply a disgusting and shady company.
