It was an outstanding experience from the initial call down to the delivery and set up. Steve came out and answered all our questions, set the chair up to my sister's comfort, explained the "rental" to buy process for Medicare, and made sure we understood the service process and who to call with any issues.
I was told I would recieve paperwork for my doctor.It has been almost a week now and
I have not heard anything from Hoveround. If it takes this long to mail paperwork, how long would it take for anything else?
Was very pleased with how quick they act. The gentleman who delivered was very informative showed me all about the chair, and made sure i was ok operating it before he left. GREAT CO.
I called to find out how I could get a power chair and try to get Medicare to pick up at least part of the cost as I have to have a wheelchair and have had a power chair for years which is very old and needs to be replaced. Though your representative was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable, I was very disappointed that I was unable to get the chair. Too bad you don't offer some kind of a payment plan for people like me who want to remain independent and have the mobility that your chairs offer, but are unable to afford one on our own. The ease of guiding this Hoveround is NON-EXISTANT! I am Very disappointed in this! I have taken it outside to ride and try to learn how to drive this thing and it DOESN'T help when I get back into the house.
I truly hope that this all goes through, overall I am happy with the treatment and concern from the last representative.
I put off calling and getting the process of getting a wheelchair, until I couldn't put it off anymore. When I called Hoveround, everyone was very helpful. They made me feel very comfortable.
Jim was very helpful in explaining how to use my power chair. He also was very professional. The insurance representative was very professional as well.

I've Had a hover around now for almost 10 years. It has been able to get me in and out of places I didn't think I could go. I love the durabilityAnd the time I have on it.
When I saw Hoveround on TV for the first time a few years ago I knew it was a chair I wanted, and I hope to continue to use it a few more years, I hope God continue to make a Hoveround is the best chairs out there

Ok I have not had much interaction yet with this company. Just answered questions and sit up a dr visit. I do hope this gets approved. It is much needed by me. It is hard to even get a chair at Walmart and I can't shop without a motor chair. We will see?

Answer: Some seem to be getting the equipment supplier mixed up with Medicare. Medicare has theirs own agenda (deny! Deny! Deny!), like most insurance co. Who don't want to pay out. Power wheelchair and scooter companies just do what they can. If a doctor prescribes and Medicare accepts/denies, its not the companies' fault. The doctor is valued to do his duty the best he can and Medicare supposed to do right by the benefiticary. I don't know. Seems a lot of blame is possible, not just with one side of it.

Answer: Yes, if doctor can prove medically necessary. Doctor must make file notes to support and you must have an office visit that only addresses the need for your chair.
