They scammed me out of my money they have bullied me on there and Iam tired of it I reported and they still don't do nothing

My son got his identity stolen from this site and it has destroyed our lives, our credit and our security.

Give some free credit so we can buy stuff and look better. Less expensive stuff for to look good then second life. More support from imvu. Recommended. No need to pay for land and can have many room as possible.

IMVU has gotten a little better but still needs a lot improvement the touching inappropriately with others got to stop unless u going for rated x than u should change it to single adults only no children or people in relationships should not be there we shouldn't pay actual money for others to touch our avatars inappropriately without our consent what I luv hh no body can touch us unless they are on your friends list I think this will solve a lot of problems with no costs that's why people are mainly complaining u have it pg version when it's not IMVU is fake advertising too much inappropriate stuff still I get it's a game but u have children on here thinking it's ok to touch random people like this that's why I have problems irl at work I do retail they think this game is real u can blame the parents all u want but u guys are half to blame too

You can't even enjoy this game I've been hacked then reported for my identity then my rooms weren't working after paying a lot of credits for it agents couldn't figure out nor fix the issue and now my account is down for false payments never again will I install this app I believe it's the company of imvu hacking accounts and taking peoples money smh

The attached images will speak for themselves. Betrayal is putting it lightly. They don't care about you. They only care about your money. I was locked out of my account, and blamed for the fact that someone had sent fraudulent sites with my account. Do not trust this corporation. When the going gets tough, they will stab you in the back with a gloved hand.

An utterly dishonest company, thieves would be a better word for them actually. They charge you a premium for PA, which allows you to be 'lewd' but you want to hear a good joke? Every penis is flaccid and useless, can you even imagine the thinking that goes into a decision like that? This is deeply fraudulent and they have not even replied let alone given me a refund, this company and everyone who supports them (Menlo Ventures, AllegisCyber Capital, Bridgescale Partners, and Best Buy Capital) should be tried as the petty criminals they are. Shut it down, they are nothing but a scourge on the industry. I am going to personally boycott every single company who has dealings with them and I would encourage others to do the same. Have some respect for yourself, and spend your money elsewhere. They did not even give me a recept, what kind of legitimate company does that? None of them do, these people are criminals and they belong in jail.

I got banned for 2 weeks for an AP room being "incorrectly rated" when it was not. I have had many male friends get banned on IMVU for inappropriate names and such and IMVU will give them their account back when they ask, even throwing in free VIP for 6 months. When I talked to IMVU about my account being banned for seemingly no reason, they told me there was nothing they can do.

Chat supports are not-so-customer-service oriented at all. They just finding people's reason to ban, ridiculous reason. And took your money out of your card. They won't even bother refunding the on-hold purchases. Well, take my generous donations.

I've been a IMVU member for a year now, role playing getting my coins, the usual and I wanted to sell my credits, I only had $150k so I posted on my page (friends only) weeks ago. I stepped away from my laptop to find out I've been permanently banned just for selling my own credits I worked hard for.

Even if it was against company policy I didn't deserve a permanent ban. Its just funny how jealous these illiterate B****** can be, just reporting me and starting F*** with me. I don't even argue with them anymore I just ignore and report. I even get stalked and harassed and IMVU does absolutely nothing.

The CEO is a greedy S*** who deserves to rot in poverty for his stupid company policy as should the non-English speaking idiots outside of the US. I wanted my credits back and the rep said I couldn't get my creds transferred and I couldn't take them out and that all sales are final. I also asked if they are going to keep my credits she said no it stays on the account, what kind of *** lie is that?.

I encourage everyone to report IMVU for fraud and to pursue legal actions. I reported to my bank that I would like to dispute every transaction I had with IMVU, go F*** yourself!.

I disputed an unauthorized charge on my bank card and my 2 accounts were disabled. The customer service is terrible. No help at all. I'am permanently disabled on both accounts for questioning a charge. Don't waste your money on this app. I wish I could give it zero stars.

I once gave a three star rating and was very informative about the origin, along with the good & bad about Imvu. Recently I had learned new accounts made will become disabled, after a week has gone by. Which is bypassing TOS, that if account isn't accessed after certain length of time, only then is when it becomes disabled. Limits on newly created accounts under Guest were already bad enough. Imvu isn't accredited by the Better Business Bureau cause of it's 1 star low rating. From the reviews there it looks like Imvu is biting the hands that feed it. An estimate of 30,000 or more has dropped out of Imvu and developers don't make up most of the loss in numbers. Who watches the 50 staff workers, whom I believe are largely at fault for such. If I were CEO of Imvu I would be doing some house cleaning in weeding out bad staff workers. As it can hurt toward ruining years of successful business. I doubt complaints made on Imvu tickets is ever seen by the CEO, since workers would never report another worker of any known wrong doing. Contacting current CEO by any means possible isn't available.

I have been a user for 10 years, after a few years I logged in, and they ask me to upload the receipt of what I have paid 10 years ago, this is just a stupid game, you should not expect your customer, to maintain the receipt after 10 years even the tax is only valid for 7 years, you can not access the case details after 3 years so what I have updated as prof of payment during payment can not be traced, I had spent a decent amount of time to develop the models as creator, beside i spent a lot money on credis, my account was AP, roughly I spent around 300 USD.
Now simply they block my account, perhaps its better you guys do a second thought if you want to spend some money or time on this platform

- I have never had any financial problems there.It's way cheaper and I have been really enjoying it. It's also a lot hotter than IMVU, there is more 100% adult-content. On the other hand, there are no pedophiles and predators - you come across them all the time on IMVU. So anyway, keep your wits about you if you use IMVU. What happens when you pay is most often they just ban you for no reason and they simply take your money. My recommendation is to avoid it.

This game/social media is just pure bullsh*t.
The character customization is amazing-ish.
But the rest. Dont waste your time.

This app has filled me with so much unnecessary anger and range, from the blantent homophobia and transphobia to the struggle to $#*!ing get credits without blowing a $#*! ton of money on the overpriced "deals". I literally took a survey for 30 damn minutes trying to get 6000 credits which MIGHT get me 7 or 8 items, and the survey froze. I love that I get to personalize my character but the $#*!ing app is a joke. It's almost as if it PROMOTES homophobia, seeing as no one does anything to stop it, Ive seen MULTIPLE people get kicked out of rooms including my friends by homophobic and transphobic mods. It's honestly awful the $#*! ppl get away with saying on their honestly.

Where to start... Awful customer service not even based in the US. Poor excuses to ban people and annoying offer spamming (they don't even listen to the community, only appealing to ideas that could make them earn more money) They should have been out of commission years ago but they know they can milk more cash from that "next" wannabe social media app with all the minors joining. Also, its not safe, adults pretend to be kids and kids to be adults also the staff WONT ban offenders even if you give them proof (not to mention their reporting system is from the stone age and they can't even back up your evidence because of their so called "privacy" BS). They used to be okay around early 2010's now they're just scammers and they don't even try to hide it. Hello, I'm here to inform people who are questioning getting the app TO NOT GET IT! My account was disabled for no reason! I spent my actual hard-earned money and they refuse to give me my account back.

Out of nostalgia, hoping there would be one good thing left on the internet that hasn't become crappy... I re-downloaded IMVU. I remember being able to chat with friends and have MUSIC and videos playing in the chat rooms. That was always amazing to me. Music has been an extremely important part of my life. You USED to be able to play music using a Youtube player... but now, apparently, IMVU has attempted to capitalize on this. Now, you have to BUY MUSIC in order to play it... and you must buy one song at a time. This is not stated clearly ANYWHERE. I bought items using my credits that I *THOUGHT* were supposed to play music. If you're going to remove one of the best features of something and replace it with something stupid - at least make it clear. Remove the items from stores that worked PERFECTLY FINE BEFORE so that people are not mislead into thinking they still work. I understand buying music to support the artists. I don't have any problem with that. What I have a problem with, is that it is EXTREMELY difficult to find information about HOW to play music on IMVU to begin with and if I've ALREADY BOUGHT music from an artist on Amazon or their official site, why do I need to buy it again on IMVU just to listen to it on YOUR website? All I wanted to do was create a digital space to hang out with friends and listen to music / watch videos from Youtube. The internet has become very VERY stupid since I was a teenager. It used to be awesome. What the $#*! happened?
