My daughter was bullied on Instagram through message. I posted to share with everyone and you guys took it down bc the pictures look real. I'm trying to make aware to others to watch for people like them. Theirs no need for that. I understand your trying to do your job but at the same time your not. I'm truly trying to help others like my daughter that these people don't deserve the time or day. Saving lives matter don't you agree. These photos need to be shared so others are aware. I'm tired of social media protecting these types of people. Wonder why people take it into their own hands. I would be appreciate if you take this person account away.

I've been hacked twice on my Instagram account in less than 24 hours and yet somehow the Instagram algorithm allow this person to change my email three times in one freaking day and never confirmed with me once! This isn't right! If you can't protect your users and their identities and the ability for someone to use their identities on your platform and you have no customer service for people who get hacked?! Greedy bastards!
Just started an instagram account. I uploaded a nature picture I took along with a selfie of my head. I also added 3 of my close friends. I decided that was enough for the first day.
I came back to do more and I am banned for violating terms. They wont say why my face is not acceptable. They will NOT accept a help ticket calming that my first one would have been too many attempts to send one. They wont accept any emails.
They just blocked me and are ghosting me because the way my face looks. I didn't think I was that ugly.
There is NO customer service department.

Why would you block a business that is following so many of people, and has a bit followers, and was trying to get rid of the following people by unfollowing them, I would unfollow 100-200 people a day and you guys thought it was smart to block me for what reason? Please fix this asap!
Instagram gets to the point. For people who are looking to expand their business and grow their brand, Instagram is a great way to do that. It has always been a great addition to Facebook, but with the introduction of Instagram LIVE, being able to upload longer videos, creating Instagram Story posts, and making Instagram Reels, it strategically reaches in the quickness of how life works, and gives you the exposure you need to grow.
A few years ago, I would've said IG was TOLERABLE even with the quirks (see my previous review). I have no issue with the content as I simply follow what I want, and control what I could see. However, IG slowly progressed to a bug-infested, glitch-infested platform where everything has became ads.
I have no social media addiction but I run an IG account where I use it for my business in the creative field. I never thought this would happen to me hence why I never knew how others felt, but IG disabled my account for no reason. After following their process to retrieve my account, they told me that I violated their community guidelines but I did no such thing.
It's been weeks since I filed out tons of forms and submitted ridiculously humiliating pics of myself holding up a hand-written code which I done at least 5 times and still haven't gotten my account back. I've noticed SO MANY other people complained about the same problem on Reddit and many people either got their accounts back after 9 MONTHS (yes, months) or haven't gotten the account back at all!
I'm so frustrated and angry as I do collaborative work and now, I've lost traction and exposure because these businesses cannot tag me on IG and I lost a lot of contacts and pages I followed. I also lost all my followers I worked hard for the past decade.
IG has NO customer support so don't even bother if you lost your account. They run a platform with at least a billion of user accounts and they have no reason to care if people lost access to their data.
Instagram was a great platform back in the day when it first came out. I'm not going to judge the website for content, because content is always up to people. And frankly, the Discover section is incredibly lame. It's always just stupid images, videos, celebrities and girls who can't keep their butts tucked in or clothes on.
Also, the spam is ridiculous and hacking is rampage. How it happens? I don't know. But someone on my followers list had their account broken into and then spammed everyone with porn. Next, I was supposedly "following" fake accounts I NEVER authorized nor followed, and they're all advertising free sex and naked women.
The Instagram Stories option is a waste of space, looks ridiculous, an entire rip-off from Snapchat and adds no important value. Sure, I could simply not click on it and it's out of sight, but I believe it's a stupid option that isn't what Instagram was made for. Bottom line, if you're a teenager, or someone in their 20s, Instagram is for you. Although, I must say that Instagram doesn't really control their content and have trouble keeping up with removing fake accounts.
If you're paying Instagram a ton of money OR if you're a celebrity, Instagram won't hesitate to help you. If you hate a comment, it gets deleted. If someone makes a fake account of you, it's deleted. If someone posts hateful comments or images of you, it's deleted. If someone posts embarrassing content of you, it's deleted. But, if you're an average user, and God forbid these things happen to you, Instagram couldn't care less.
As a new driver who is desperate to not pay ridiculous prices for insurance, I was unfortunately scammed by this insurance broker.
This insurance broker is a scam. I found him on an instagram ad and dm'ed him and he ran a car insurance quote for me. It came out ridiculously cheap and I was suspicious about it. He didn't include any links or show information on the quote, just some random images that show cheaper quotes. He then said that he charges a £250 admin fee and if I want this quote then to be quick as the quote expires in 3 days. Kinda funky as he's well desperate for his money which was a red flag for me. I ignored him and he kept spamming my dms saying that the offer is expiring and he will lower his price to £200.
I asked him if he put all my correct information and he assured me that he did. He specified he put 7000 miles and my second driver aswell. When he gave me the login to the quote, it had all the wrong information like 3000 miles, my second driver as my spouse, 9+cars and MOST IMPORTANTLY HE PUT 10+ years of NCD. All this information is FALSE and he completely disregarded my information so that he can bump down the price to show the lowest price. This is a huge scammer and please do not pay him anything!
I tried to contact him again but he's ignoring my dms. He was so friendly before I bought anything and he is now hostile.

I have 5 accounts for dogs (yes, I am that person, lol). Anyway, when instagram asked me for my birthday on one of my dogs accounts I put my dogs birthday to just align everything not thinking they were going to suspend my account because my dog is 5. It was an honest mistake. So I thought the appeal process was going to go smooth... boy was I wrong! I have submitted my name, email, my driver's license multiple times. I even sent my wife's info along with drivers license and explained the situation multiple times. I have yet to get one single message to let me know what I am doing wrong and what would rectify the situation to open my dogs account again (thatdood_wrigley). It is frustrating when you make an honest mistake, and then attempt to correct it via the instructions on the appeal and not get a single email, direct message, or call to let you know why your account has not been unlocked and what the company needs from you to unlock said account.
Easy to use. Also amazingly neat. I'll keep updating reviews as i keep on using the service. I recommend this to everyone interested in online jobs.
