Everything was good at first until I encountered temporary financial hardship. I had reached out to the customer service team multiple times and have not been satisfied at all. At first, I thought my payment date had been updated via the self service bot, thankfully I double checked and a representative told me it had not been (so the first red flag is the bot doesn't work, which I told them they needed to update because that's misinformation being provided) and then proceeded to tell me I couldn't because of the payment due date. After making the first payment, I reached out ahead of time AGAIN to have my payment date updated, if not skipped due to financial hardship. I have reached out to the customer service team MULTIPLE times and asked to speak with a higher up because of misinformation and lack of communication, in which nobody ever got back with me and I even had to go as far as contacting my dealership to speak with a higher up. After explaining the entire situation, it was the same thing, even though they were FULLY aware I had been reaching out multiple times and the lack of communication to get to me in a timely manner was a fault on their part, not mine. They lack accountability and authenticity, all they care about is money. If you finance your car I would not recommend financing with this company.
Don't get your vehicle financed with them. They will put a 90 day hold on your account and make you pay 7.00 extra!
Because I wanted to pay off my Kia with a credit card, they transferred me to Western Union and they hung up on me. Long wait times to reach both companies. Kia doesn't make a way for someone to pay with a debit or credit card on their website or over the phone! TERRIBLE COMPANY! I will never use them again!
After owing and paying for 2 Kia's they have lose me as a customer forever. Customer service is rude and unprofessional. A dealership bought out my Kia and paid it off. Title in hand and Kia still charged me another monthly payment and is refusing to give my money back. No one can tell me why they stole my money or how to get it back. Opened a dispute with my bank and put a stop payment on them ever being able to access my money again.
Disgusting to be treated like this and that there isn't one person working at Kia Finance that is nice or helpful.

I made an early payment for my car payment for the month of January (Jan 12th) and was good til the next payment in February. Later on in the same month of January, right before the payment was actually due (Jan 24TH) I had a transaction thru Kia finance and they took a payment that I didn't authorize. So that's a double car payment for January! I don't have auto payments set up. I called and they said I made the payment over the phone which is a lie because I never call them for a payment. I just pay it online. The payment was a few more dollars off then what the normal payments are. I called and they said they will send a refund thru mail which Is crazy because y'all took my $#*! out so put it back the same way! They said my refund will be mailed 6-10 business days. Time passed and I called them again wondering where my money is. They said they will send it again. I'm fed up with them.
Kia is worthless! Their thieves and i can't wait to start the process in sueing them! The people who works there is absolute $#*!s! Our telluride was righted off in our driveway at 3am in the morning when we were sleeping. We call kia to use the gap insurance and they denied it, said we have to use our car insurance. We werent sure how gap works so we went ahead with our car insurance. They gave my car insurance progressive the value for the suv and they paid them, 1 year later their contacting us for more money. 2 sets, $1800 and change was the first amount and couple months after they changed it to $6800 and change, saying there's an insurance deficiency. We told them to contact my insurance but they keep on saying that we have to pay it. For 8 months these nut jobs keep calling us every weekday. They treating us to charge off our accounts. The date of charge off was January 11 2022 if i remember right but finally my insurance decided to call them and pay off the $6800 and change but guess want? They raise the fee to $7400 and change, where did that extra $500 came from? They made over $50,000 for lowest model telluride and left us in a ton of dept. Gap insurance would have made things so much simpler. Now i want to sue for all the distress they put us through for 8 months. They could have call my insurance and get paid since then or even better gave us the opportunity to use our vehicle's gap insurance. Don't buy car from this company, kia is a rip off.
Since 2020 (I assume since Covid?) the website takes anywhere from 10 minutes to upwards of two hours to load if it even loads at all.
I make payments, get the email for payment authorization success and then I find out it doesn't go through, NOT by them but I have to research it myself each time. I call and they say I didn't have funds in my account for the payment per my bank. My bank denies this and I pay when I get paid so KNOW there's funds in the account.
Kia frequently locks me out of my account and it's such a hassle to get a payment to them. It's like they want me to call and pay an extra $10 for convenience fees to pay on the phone(when?, during my working hours because they aren't open for people during normal non working hours? Please tell me HOW that's CoNveNieNT)
They have on multiple occasions lost my current bank information and used my old bank info that I haven't had for 3+years. Which has lead to missed payments because they've tried to take it out of the wrong account.
They never send me letters for anything, updates, confirmations, problems etc.
Kia tried to repo my car TWICE. Today is the 2nd time and I know I'll have to pay another $2000 to get my car back.

Kia Finance is truly the most spiteful disgusting greedy un professional company that I've ever dealt with. I love Kia cars. But Kia finance and the people who make the cars and their customer service again disgusting. Currently I only own one car and they're still charging me for two cars my old and new cars. It makes no sense I still have my title from my old car and they're still billing me for a 2016 car I no longer own. I know you're reading this and going what I've never heard of such a thing. Can not stand making my payment with KIA they only have an option on line for checking which takes them forever to take out! I love Capital One cause I was able to make my payment with my bank card which was much easier which only cost me $3.95 to make by card. KIA tries to charge $7.95 give me a Damn break! Get with the times people!

I've been with Kia since 2013. When I brought back my last lease for my current lease at Lakewood, NJ Kia they submitted the papper work over a month late so they marked me as late. I've called to get it resolved and they refuse to help me. They lost a good customer of 9 years. I guess they don't care. I always pay my payment any where from 2 to 4 weeks early and have returned the cars under milage by a year and in showcase condition. Good bye Kia. I have two Kias bought at different times. I was paying my bills through KMFUSA for a while with no trouble. Then someone punched in a wrong digit, and the trouble began.
The first time this happened I had to pay a$7.99 service charge. Then I leased a new Kia and they never put it into the system. The last couple of times I just mailed in my payment.
It's almost frustrating enough to not lease another Kia next time!
I've been trying to change my payment date for a year and through calling several times a month and re-entering my payment info on the website it still says my payment is late resulting in destroying my credit. I've been offered absolutely no help in fixing the problem either and they never respond to emails.

After finally paying off a car that I do not drive and never drove, $47,000 (and no thanks to the co-owner whom used only $1,000 to help me pay for it as an initial down-payment followed by her trading in the car on her own without my knowledge to get a better car while using MY GAP refund as the down-payment for that one - so then she's the sole owner of the new car - *****), I came to find out that the title became irrelevant after they told me I should wait 10 days for an electronic copy of the title to be in the DMV system. So, I did not need to wait 10 days to have an electronic title handy to have a hard copy - and in that time - once again the co-owner struck again as I mentioned already.
She used the opportunity to visit the KIA dealership with MY vehicle essentially as I PAID for it, not her - and traded it in for a new car. As you can see, this co-owner really shouldn't be anyone's friend or be trusted with any money-related matters whatsoever.
As for KIA Finance, once again it fails to act properly and could even be complicit in the plot to delay my RIGHT to sell the car.
To the co-owner of any car deal: pay your way or you are worth less than garbage just like KIA Finance.
To sum up, not only did I boost the co-owner's credit rating - she now has a new car at my full expense - and deliberately either changed her phone number or just found a way to continuously con me without a way to contact her - and she thinks she does not owe me a dime.
Now, to any person on the face of the earth, what sort of person has this type of character? I don't know - but don't worry - I will prevail as liars and cheats always fail. She is just a miserable and pathetic human being.
My story. Pandemic 2020 hits. I lose my business. I'm fighting the unemployment system. I used my savings and the stimulus check to stay afloat. End of May comes, and I realize I won't be able to make my June payment. I called for several days due to the systems high call volume and not allowing my call to go through no matter what time it was. So I finally get through. The gentleman was great. Put in my deferment request and informed me to email next time due to the calling system. They had a 90-day deferment approval due to the Pandemic, but I would have to send in individualized requests every month. It gets approved for June payment. I go job hunting. I land an amazing job, but the start date isn't until end of July. So I send an email on June 22nd. My due date is July 8th. So plenty of time. I wait the 5 to 7 business days as instructed, then get worried so I called. I call July 2nd. They inform me that they are no longer offering pandemic assistance as of July 1st. Nothing I was informed of or I would've called sooner. So Linda tells me that she will try to request it through their normal deferment program which has stricter regulations which most likely won't approve me due to the first deferment I got. So I'm getting screwed. I keep a level head and ask what the next step is. She informs me to call back at the end of the week so I can find out if I'm approved or not. So I call at the end of the week, and I get a lady who speaks over me every time I speak. I try to stay calm, but apparently Linda didn't notate anything on my account and didn't inform me that I'm supposed to sign something via email. I check my email frequently. I haven't received anything. She realizes Linda never attached my email to the deferment request so I have to start over. I'm still fighting unemployment. I am still fighting with KIA Motor Financing. My due date has passed. I have never been late on a payment in my life on anything. I'm going to have to hide my car in my garage if they don't approve this because I can't lose my car because of their mistake. I'm going to refinance as soon as possible with my bank thanks to this experience.
