Creating my resume was fast and simple. The services are excellent! Jorge was the gentleman that helped me realize what other services livecareer has (e.g., job finder, resume examples from specific jobs, etc.). I recommend this LiveCareer!
I was able to build a good resume. That being said, I signed up for $2.95 then to be billed $23.95 starting 14 days later. I logged into my subscription the same day that I purchased it and cancelled subscription after completing resume. I did not receive any email confirmation but thought nothing of it until I was checking bank statements and noticed a charge for $23.95 from the company. I contacted customer service via chat and was told that they never received a cancellation request and I had no proof as they do not send emails for cancellations.
The customer service person was helpful but unable to help completely resolve the issue. I got a partial prorated refund for a service I have not used since I first signed up and cancelled. Although I do not think they are trying to cheat customers I believe it is unfair when subscriptions are cancelled you have not way of knowing it went through other than the thank you received get when logging out.

They want to charge me even if i am not using their service anymore. They refuse my refund request because of their 14 day policy, they did not notify me that they will be charging, not even sending invoice to my email saying i was charge. I had to see it on my card statement first.

Each step was easy and intuitive. I really appreciated the tips for wording certain items and the suggestions for how I should add more details. I feel like I have the best cover letter and resume I have ever had. It was also nice to save a few versions of my resume and cover letter as I am applying to two completely different jobs at the same time and had to cater towards each job posting. I love that I can alter the format/color super quick and easy. Hopefully I get the job and won't need to use their services. I will definitely come back if needed. I had a question about my account recently and used the chat feature on the website. I received speedy service and was satisfied with the customer service representative.

I was trying to cancel my subscription and I believe I tried to do that 4 days ago and I thought I was successful but I checked back and I wasn't. So it was on me but I was still hoping if something could be reversed because I had not used my account since I purchased the subscription, hence why I wanted to cancel it and thought I was successful. He was very understanding and still helped me get a partial refund and even offered a discounted 1 month trial for 4.95 so I can keep my account active. I thought that was very kind of him to still accommodate my issue even though I was the clumsy one here, I didn't deserve the benefits but he still offered it to me and I thought that was very kind. Very user friendly until you want to bypass the format and add your own thing. Such as, Wanting to add my credentials after my name. Or not having the letter body prewritten blend in with the one I'm writing. (I figured that out) We'll see how it goes.

Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
