Unable to contact anyone at this site. They charge you $3500 if you write a bad review against them and then screw up your credit when you don't pay the fine. The owner should be publicly shamed and then jailed.
Ordered a few items years ago and never had a problem. However, these past few moths, I have been trying to contact someone (ANYONE) to inquire on order status. Had to cancel transaction thru credit card company! This company is a nightmare! Never again!
Website and company scam and extort their own customers. Avoid at all costs.
Awful business practices. Terrible customer service. Can not get anybody on the phone. Uses blackmail and extortion to try to prevent you from exercising your 1st amendment rights when posting a very well deserved negative review. Stay away from this company
This company is about to learn an expensive lesson in how to treat customers. Crappy service on top of crappy service. Do not do business with KlearGear.
Lol... terrible website and the guy who tried to fine someone $3500 for a bad review and ruin their credit you just ruined your business you fools
Treat you like crap, then fine you if you complain on a review site.
I was preparing to make a sale, and the terms of service indicated that I COULD NOT write a negative review. They seem to have a lot of Think Geek material, and I was excited for a low cost alternative. But again, the terms of service are incredibly messed up. I've never, EVER, seen anything like it.
I contacted customer service, and eventually got through. I asked them about the terms of service, and they indicate that I could not, in fact, make a negative review of the site, EVEN if they screwed up. F-that.
Anyway, it turns out that Kleargear.com is in a huge scandal right now because of how screwed up they are. SHOPPER BEWARE.
Oh my. Never go to this site (Kleargear.com), how can they operate in the USA with criminal policies like this?

Kleargear ILLEGALLY "fines" when customers complain about the company then reports to the 3 major credit report companies that you are a poor credit risk.
Do Not buy anything from Kleargear
Do not buy from this site without doing an internet search regarding their non-disparagement clause and read this article http://www.businessinsider.com/online-retailer-fines-couple-3500-for-negative-review-2013-11.
Crooks. Will fine you and report you to credit agencies if you leave a bad review.

Terrible company with terrible policies. Do not buy from them.
A site that goes to so much trouble to extort people into taking down bad reviews must have alot to hide. $3500 for posting a true account of your bad experience.
Show these guys with your wallet that this isn't right.
WARNING! TOTAL SCAM! THEY WON'T SHIP TO YOU FOR 30 DAYS, AND WILL FINE YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IF YOU TELL ANYBODY!

Apparently this company will attack your credit rating if you leave them a bad review.

Google for "Kleargear disparagement clause" and note that as of 2013, during the ordering process you (usually unknowingly) enter into a legal agreement with Kleargear that you will not post anything negative about them, or be subject to a $3,500 fine. We need to teach Kleargear a lesson! Luckily, I've never ordered from them, so I have not entered into their legal agreement. Hence, I can publish truth about them on behalf of those currently being sued (e.g. Jen Palmer). Kleargear's non-disparagement clause will likely be tossed out in court, but even THINKING that this was a good idea is horribly misguided.
If you are thinking about buying anything from them read their
"Non-Disparagement Clause" first.
In an effort to ensure fair and honest public feedback, and to prevent the publishing of libelous content in any form, your acceptance of this sales contract prohibits you from taking any action that negatively impacts KlearGear.com, its reputation, products, services, management or employees.
Should you violate this clause, as determined by KlearGear.com in its sole discretion, you will be provided a seventy-two (72) hour opportunity to retract the content in question. If the content remains, in whole or in part, you will immediately be billed $3,500.00 USD for legal fees and court costs until such complete costs are determined in litigation. Should these charges remain unpaid for 30 calendar days from the billing date, your unpaid invoice will be forwarded to our third party collection firm and will be reported to consumer credit reporting agencies until paid.
