I bought the newspaper theme from themeforest.net which is managed by envato market. Well they gave me a download to a product that would not unlock. The license key was not included. When I tried to get the license key, They say oh this a digital product the key as to be generated thru the system, you have to buy it again because you didnt enter any billing information in. I had to kindly tell him, His system surely took my money for it not to had been entered in. He says nothing he can do just rebuy it and they will refund the rest. Sorry sir thats not how this works. I need a license or a full refund. He referred me to a policy on refund for digital products. So now I have to contact my bank, which is definitely going to get the money back. Be careful who you do business with. They are definitely a legitimate company just scammy policies and are outside of the united states, based in australia. So they really dont care about customer service.

I gave em 3 stars because, I have purchased from Envato-Elements and had no problem. The problem was with Envato Market

I purchased Bookly Pro but the instructions to retrieve the product code did not resemble the pages I saw. I hovered as they advised, but no dropdown menu. They appear to have no support and none of the request for support forms I completed were confirmed as a case log. I then phone them but a voicemail requests I leave an email address. Can't wait to get Bookly Pro because I paid for it over a week ago and now its stuck in a dispute process. Many of their refund policies contravene local laws. A phone call or email would have prevented me writing this but this company logo should be skulls and crossbones.

I purchased YouTube Pack - DaVinci Resolve from the creator Nick_Chvalun and it did not work. Emailed the creator for help and after a week and a half he responded. He said sorry and he was working on it. After another week I reached out again. No response to that message or my continued messages for the next 3 weeks. Contacted Envato customer service for a refund. They initially responded then no response to my continued pleas for assistance from them over the next weeks. I had to contact my credit card company to cancel the payment and then Envato finally responded and gave me a refund. Also, I left a poor review on the site about the product and the creator to warn people of my experience and it was removed. So you cannot trust their review system. Good luck if you have a problem on Envato market. I'll never be back there.

The $#*!tiest customer treatment. I opened the first account they blocked me. Opened the second one, they blocked me. Talked with the customer support; they can't open my account for an unknown reason.

I was purchase a them for themeforest.net but after 1 moth purchasing the theme thy mail i have successful process to refund.

So how customer can trust this website after purchasing they sleeping 1 or 2 month the work and send mail refund successfully

This website require big legal action.

No professional team and support system is very exponential.

I find to contact us form to support team but the option not showing in my dashboard.

Avoid this site they locked the account then refuse to refund...

They have sub-contractors who sell services under them. The subs do not provide a complete product (it fails to work). When you ask for a refund, Envato throws their hands up and says it is up to the sub, who does not fix the problem. Then, Envato rejects your request for a refund and keeps your money. They are scammers. Look at the reviews. Nobody gives them anything but a horrible rating.

I dint do my research on this site before I made a purchase, well according to my credit card company I've made 3 purchases. I feel like the Authors are making good reviews on themselves as I made inquires and everyone I talked with told me what a mistake I've made by using this site.As I have enclosed a picture of 3 downloads of the same app that I was said to have made on different days.

I ordered a digital photoshop actions apps. Their website is faulty in processing paypal payment where it processed my account twice. I wrote them a letter informing them the issue and send them a screenshot of 2 paypal transactions so they can reversed the second transaction. They wrote back asking several questions, when answered they replied back that they can' t do anything or reverse the transaction. They want me to reverse it through paypal.
Their transaction reversal protocol is unsatisfactory and too much inconvenience. They don't want to give a refund when it is their website that is at fault in processing payment twice

My company purshased a WP theme on this website, like on most of them - not support / no help / not able to contact anybody if there is an issue.

Why? Because you need the license code (what we don't share in companies), you need account on the website (so they can share your data with third-prarty services or break your balls with marketing mails), you need to have IT ingeneer degree do don't get crazy with stupid things like this.

Always a pleasure to deal with website / services with dump features and programmed with the butt.

From 0 to 10 if I have to recomment this website to a friend / a colleague, it would be 0.

The scripts in general are good and can help as a starting point for your project. However you have to be extremely careful and ready to tackle two major loopholes.

The first one is to look into the users table and the many bio details injected to collect user identity info. I had to challenge Envato Market and the code seller on different occasions. Make sure you narrow down these to only those your project requires or make optional rather than required as most dodgy code sellers do. I always prefer to do it through the seller to enforce a cleaner and safer code for all buyers.

The second is no less serious and can bring your project to a total stand still. I recently purchased a Laravel Parking app and after installing it it turned out to be missing many of the essential logic such as user permissions, auth, etc. This way the seller forces the buyer to pay extra to have these added which is immoral. Upon reporting this, both the code seller and Envato Market claimed these are extra customisation jobs that I had to pay for! When I proved them wrong, they turned to some cheap tactics like taking too long to respond etc. just to end up taking a seller biased decision.

My experience is that Envato Market is a hit and miss gamble and for those who know their stuff very well and willing to take risks, otherwise stay away.

I am completely appalled by the horrible after sales service provided by your company. I have been such a long time member and feel completely gutted to be treated so unfairly. The developer has agreed to provide a refund and your company has repeatedly denied me a refund because of some "payment gateway issues". No replies to the support tickets or Messenger at all. Now you have completely locked me out of my account and deprived me of future updates to all the plugins I have purchased previously. You will only restore my access IF I call my bank and cancel the credit card dispute. This clearly was an error on your part so shouldn't you folks own up and take responsibility for it? Shouldn't issues be reviewed on a case by case basis and action be taken accordingly instead of just enforcing a lock for everything?

One of the worst companies on the internet. I had an account with them for 10 years and I had bought many templates from them and then one day after 3 faulty attempts to login my account was suspended! After I tried to contact their support their reply was that my account is permanently suspended because of their policy and that they could not say anything more! The problem is that I have subscription with them and websites that need upgrades from templates I have with those bastards.

I installed this wordpress theme (Stack) and associated plugins, it locked up my Wordpress installation. Did this three or four times and a clean wipe in between to make sure. No luck. The included demo data download did not work after trying it several times, nor did the page builder Variant that they include as part of the purchase. I'm not a noob; I've been building WP sites since version 1.8.
I checked the documentation link provided by the author here: https://tommusrhodus.ticksy.com, and it does NOT give you documentation, instead it returns an error message of: "This Ticksy account is Inactive. If you are the owner of the account and want to recover it, please contact Ticksy's support department!".
I've emailed the author three times with no response, and if you look on the sales page for the product, the LAST time the author responded to anyone was six months ago. I think he's in Belize by now.
I've emailed Envato Market seven times, and each time, they say "email the author". I did, three times. They are also threatening to lock access to my Envato account if I file a dispute directly with Paypal. So I'm doing that now.
This is their thinly veiled threat: "Hi! Before you proceed please note that raising a dispute with PayPal will result in your Envato account being automatically locked. This is done as a security precaution and may cause delays in resolving your issue. If you would still like to raise a dispute you can do so, but our preference is to work with you to resolve the issue you're having with your item, so if you haven't yet contacted us directly, please do that first via https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new or by emailing *******@envato.com Thank You Envato Customer Success Team.".
I've been emailing them now for two weeks, supplied everything they asked for, and they've done nothing. I am never going to purchase anything from them again.

They do not care about what's being sold. Found one wordpress theme that worked but the other two do not do anything they advertise one was even flagged by my sites firewall for having malware. Both themes never got refunds after asking for one right away, had to fight them by going to my bank and then they go and lock your whole account even blocking items you rightfully own from being accessed because you disputed a charge. Block you from logging into your dispute too. They say they will only unlock the account if the dispute with the bank is dropped. Sounds like they take your items hostage basically. Too bad for the the one thing that does work I have a backup of already so NOT dropping the dispute now.

What's also odd and starts to make them seem more and more like a scam is the idea they go under so many names using so many different URLs for one site.

AVOID THEM!

They are scammers and they are a market FOR scammers. They sell downloadable products, made by numerous misc vendors or "authors" (as they call them). These products NEVER do what is advertised. Only AFTER you make the purchase, are you informed that you must make many more purchases to get the product that was advertised. Want a refund? GOOD LUCK! They will not give you one - and the vendor will blame Envato for that, and Envato will blame the vendor for it. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COSTS!

Neither Envato nor authors are obliged to give policy refunds in any of the situations listed below:

You don't want it after you've downloaded it
The item did not meet your expectations or you feel the item is of low quality
You simply change your mind
You bought an item by mistake
You do not have sufficient expertise to use the item
You claim that you are entitled to a refund but do not provide sufficient information as to why you are entitled to a refund
You can no longer access the item because it has been removed or the author who previously provided the item is no longer active on our platform (we advise you to download items as soon as you have purchased them to avoid this situation).
