I have purchased this template and made a payment, it didn't worked out and I filed a refund but envato never response to me. They are just selling illegal items to people. I strongly recommend not to purchase any products from them, ever.

Envato, years ago, was a wonderful resource. Recently, however, it is the opposite. As a graphic artist and web designer, I had purchased many of their assets for my clients. Now... I have spent over three weeks (and still counting) trying to simply get them to let me back into my account after a few years away, and an email change they refuse to update without credit card information I haven't had for years. That's insane. Honestly, though, after I shopped around, I've found that competitive sites offer far better products, so I guess it's "a sign" and I'm better off not helping them make more money. I do feel bad for their contributors, tho. Some of them were quite stellar, and I suspect they are equally frustrated with Envato's downward trend.

I purchased a Wordpress theme called Listify that cost over $100 CAD via themeforest.net which is part of Envato. Does not install due to missing CSS files. Many of the folders include a readme file or lines within the source code that state free software GNU - can be modified and redistributed. The developer has packaged these free files with s few of their own and charge over $100 CAD for the download. I would stay away since Envato refuses to refund when I made a request only 2 hours after downloading the zip file.

It used to be a great site, but now they sell a bunch of plugins that don't work. No one monitors this, and they don't issue refunds when requested. I don't recommend it.

The worst experience and customer service ever! The plugins and actions are bugged beyond belief. Be careful! Don't buy anything from them; their customer service is shockingly bad. They are unresponsive and unhelpful, leaving you stuck with broken products and no support. Avoid Envato Market at all costs if you value your time and money!

I have Envato account for many years and I never had any problems. But, recently I bought a WordPress plugin that doesn't do the thing the author claims so it is useless to me. Since the author of the plugin refused to refund my money I ran a dispute on PayPal and the dispute was solved in my favor and my money was returned.
Now Envato doesn't want to unblock my account so I am unable to use any of the items I previously bought on Envato - for example, I cannot update my WordPress theme because of that.

It's blackmail and deserves a lawsuit!

Envato aka Themeforest allows theme designers and developers to sell their themes for a percentage. There is no try before you buy so if you buy a theme that has sold 48k times and expect it to be good, and it turns out it isn't that great and even though it says it has features you want they aren't exactly what you want and don't work how you want them to work- their refund policy is denied. However, If you leave a review of your purchase that is negative, they will refund your money which means your negative review is removed and thus protecting their theme resellers from that review affecting their sales. Pretty dishonest.

Purchased a theme from them, license code did not work when registering theme, got locked out of account, customer service did not fix the problem, after 3 attempts. It wasted 2 days of time to try and wait for them to act, and 2 days lost! Too bad for the authors of the themes! Go elsewhere, Envato is just not providing the service!

I have been using Envato Themeforest for nearly 7 years. I have purchased nearly 10 licenses so far. Recently, I tried to purchase two more licenses. When I made my purchase, Envato decided to lock out my account out of nowhere. They didn't give me any reason. When I tried to reach the Envato Help Team, they didn't even give me any explanation.

When I searched a little bit, I noticed that I was not alone. There are a lot of customers whose account is locked out without any reason. And this creates a reliability problem for the themes purchased from Envato. I can no longer rely on themes from Envato.

I am no longer able to purchase new licenses. But, I am also not able to access my previous downloads. It means that I will no longer get updates. I cannot access my previous purchase codes. I got literally robbed by Envato.

Do not think that this cannot happen to you. I used Envato Market for 7 years without any problem. One day, without any reason, they just stole all my licenses. It will happen to you as well, sooner or later.

I requested a refund author approved it but envato gave a refund of the wrong item had to request again now they telling me about authorization process

Logging into my account I can see the product however it took Envato 2 weeks to find the product and it's not been 3 weeks and they just stopped responding to emails altogether. The issue is a simple fix however no one seems to be working on existing customers vs focused on sales only.

Since I was using a VPN when I logged in to envato and made my purchase with a credit card, my credit card company declined it thinking i was in new zealand so I informed my credit card company to approve the payment and then went back into envato to download my product. I downloaded it just fine, but when I logged back in to get my code, they had locked my account. After contacting customer support they said they deleted my account with no explanation.

Nothing good and realized 5 minutes after purchase and they refused refund. Bait and switch scam they should be shut down don't fall for it you will waste 35 bucks

The site is a scam. Please do not use them. They will charge your credit card and immediately lock you out of their site. No product received. SMH!

Regrettably, after further investigation, I'm using my discretion and will not be rating more than 1 star. Unfortunately like all customers, I have a number of internal policies in place which, for my own reasons, I do not divulge.
I sincerely apologize for not being able to rate you more than 1 star thank you for your understanding.

Anyway - you disabled the account straight away and won't allow us to purchase themes. Will shop elsewhere!

Envato immediately locked me out of my account when signing up to purchase web design themes from Theme Forest. Then, they took over THREE days to respond to my help desk tickets of which I had to make multiple. This caused a client of ours to churn because we were unable to get them the theme they needed in a timely fashion and this was thanks to Envato.

This used to be a reputable company. They use bots instead of customer service. Same scripted responses with no avail of fixing the issue. They have some huge security issues which is frightful. You can authenticate yourself through google and facebook only to have fraud alerts on your credit card you will have to rectify. I have contacted the author of this wordpress theme. Sadly Envato has full control, meaning they can stop authors from making money do to their bot security that locks out legit customers.

They're a fraud company. I made a payment for a purchase and they conveniently locked my account after payment was debited from my account. Their Customer Success team sucks and I have been duped off money it seems. No response from them for over 5 days. My invoice and purchase code everything is out of my access.

I regretted to pay for the subscription and downloaded their theme on my Shopify, the themes which claim how great they are for Shopify are totally a lie. Wasted my time on editing it and published it then realized it isn't even compatible to Shopify at all. And envato refused to refund after I finally found the way to reach them. Hope no one will be scammed like I was again.
