My large tote started falling apart less than a year. The handle was fraying and leather peeling off. I didn't have tge receipt because I didn't think I would ever need it. The store manager would not help even when she saw the tote falling a part. I gave MK another shot spent $200 on a grey quilted purse and $100 on the matching wallet... well 4 months after using it... the bottom corners started looking rough and the plastic material is now showing on the bottom corner. The matching wallet... the leather didn't hold up on the edged either! I kept my receipt and the store manager said MK only has a warranty on hardware not the rest of the product! Seriously thought if I purchased a good name high quality product I wouldn't have a problem or the company would stand behind the product. I understand wear and tear! I would never expect something to hold up for ever. I don't expect a product to fall apart in less than a year especially one so costly. I would never try to get a replacement on something that I wore out and mis used. I understand they have to watch out for those that will do that. I just want to let everyone know their products do not hold up! If I spent a lot less money I would not expect higher quality but when you spend high dollar you expect it to be high end!
I placed my order online. After a day i found out that my order was cancelled. Reason, is out of stock. But when i checked the next day same shoes; size and color is still in stock.
I will never buy Michael Kors brand anymore!
They have the worst customer service. I called and sent them email and the reason they told me why my order was cancelled is that my billing and shipping address is different. Which is a lie.
I purchased a $300 large jet set travel Michael Kors handbag December of 2015. By December 2016 the edge of the purse strap was unraveling. Within a year-and-a-half of having the purse all of the edges of the purse straps were freyed and the Michael Lord name and zipper were discolored. The purse has very low quality overall. After spending $300 for a hand bag, I would expect a quality product that doesn't fall apart after a year and a half. I would not recommend this product or manufacturer.
I bought a pair sunglasses with the Michael Kors logo on the side. I paid over $100 for them and within a year of buying them after taking exceptionally great care of them the side arm kept falling off. I wrote via email to customer service to complain and see if they could do something for me and an email was returned stating that since it had been a year they could not have me return my sunglasses to get a new pair or repair the ones that I have. First off, I have a pair of $20 no-name brand sunglasses that I've had for over 10 years and just threw in my purse all the time and those are still working fine. Second, if I purchase a pair of sunglasses for close to or over $100 I expect the company To be able to back up their product with a lifetime guarantee. I know that many high quality companies do so. It is because of this that I will never ever again by another product from this company. When I pay that kind of money I expect good quality and good customer service to fix any product flaws or problem is that I may have. I will not be recommending this company to any of my family or friends. Unfortunately, I have probably bought over 10 bags from this company and I have to say that in my opinion the quality is not up to standard.

Bought a phone case online and after 2 weeks it began to bubble and peel. I sent an email (supposed to get a reply within 24hrs) and no response after 3 days.
I rang customer service and was told that I had to send it back and may get a refund after 14 days. I asked if I could have a replacement and was told that I couldn't because it was ordered online and there may be store issues?. All in all a poor service, poor item at premium price and an upset daughter who, up until now, loved the brand.
Michael Kors has the WORST customer service EVER. My daughter purchased a wallet for me and it was too small after hours on the phone I finally got a manager to approve the return. I returned it as they instructed and 3 weeks later still do not have a refund. I have called 2 additional times to inquire about my refund. I was told today that the warehouse return it to me because it was in used condition! Seriously, I NEVER used the wallet. What a crock!

I made an indulgent purchase of a great bag while on holiday in Portugal.
Tragedy occurred when I went to immediately parade my precious MK bag on return to Sydney: gold rivet fell out of the shoulder strap.
Many emails later with the MK Global Customer Service, I was advised the bag would be replaced (drum roll, wait for this!)... conditional on me showing photographic evidence that I had destroyed my original purchase i. E., specifically by driving 4-inch cuts through the front & back of the bag!
Talk about turning a luxury brand into trash with the request to fulfill this violating action. Totally de-valued my 'investment'. Shame MK, shame... CG
I sent my refund back on 5-23-17 Michael Kors said they receive my return on 6-2-17 today is the June 12 2017 no refund... This has been the most hobble experience I every had to deal with when returning an item I will never purchase any thing else from Micheal Kors. You call customer services and get the run around there other nicer high price bags you can purchase with better return and customer policy
I visited the store today, and I honestly don't think that I will be coming back. I drove for 50 minutes, and found myself with the most unpleasant customer service. Please management, if you are selling excellent quality products at high prices. Take the time to train your employees at providing quality service. If I am purchasing 2 large handbags, why would your rep ask me if she can put both of them in 1 shopping bag? If I ask one of your employees a basic question, I should get an answer or they should atleast ask a manager. I asked a basic question and the answer was specifically " I don't know ". The rep didn't have a name tag on her and it made it diffidifficult for me address her. Unprofessional. And lastly, the rep took out all the paper that crumpled inside the habdbags to make it look full before purchase. I found that be strange and unessesary. Believe me, if I couldn't afford the purse, I wouldn't be visiting your store. I usually don't leave reviews because I understand that sometimes, employees have protocols and policies and procedures, that need to be followed. However in this case, I was furious by the quality of the service that I received.
How much I hope the real Micheal Kors go after this fake company that is ripping people off. I owned one MK purse that I bought in the states and I bought two more from this fraudulent site]. It came today and they are very ugly and FAKE. I called their customer service before placing the order because I was suspicious of the low price but they told me it is an outlet and they are only operating directly from MK manufacturer which eliminate the middle man. I ordered a bag a couple of weeks ago ($275). When I opened the box I noticed there was no strap anywhere to be found. I searched the box, the bag, the packaging paper--no strap. I reached out to customer service and requested that they mail me a strap, they tell me they don't have straps available to send out from the distribution center. I would need to mail the bag back, they would then refund me, and I would have to re-order the bag again with no guarantee that I would receive the same sale price. So I have to jump through hoops and hope for the best because they screwed up? I escalated the issue and received the same response from the "management team." My next question, what happens when bags are under warranty and the strap breaks? How do the customers get sent a replacement strap? Crickets.
Spent over $250.00 on one of their purses and a year later the clasp on the shoulder strap broke. When I spend that much I expect it to last longer than a year. I have 10 year old purses that cost $50 and are still in excellent shape. Long story short, they refused to replace the strap as it had a 1 year warranty. I called customer service to price match a handbag That was on much better sale now. The man who answered the call was being extremely difficult and was making excuses how it's not their policy to price match a handbag that's was on sale previously. Worst return/exchange policy. They don't price match the same products that went on sale the very next week because we bought it a week before on a usual than lower price. Disgusting! I purchased a purse and wallet on 05/06/2017 as a mother's day gift. I put-in the promo code MOM2017 to have it shipped to me in 2 days. I then realized that it says "ground" instead of the "2-days shipping".
I called Customer Service the same day and the representative that assisted me stated that there was nothing he could do because the order has been placed already. I told him it was showing pending on my end and that I wanted to cancel it because I needed the items by mother's day.
He then stated he couldn't do that either and that I needed to wait for the items to get here in 8-10 business days and send them back.
I cannot express how bad of a customer service Michael Kors has! This was supposed to be a mother's day present and now I have to wait almost three weeks for the items to get here. I keep on checking and it is still showing "In Process" meaning my items are still sitting in the warehouse SMH!

Boyfriend got me the medium mercer duffle in Feb and the zipper just fell off in April. Called their customer service number and they are saying I have to pay to return the bag for repair. I laughed because I was so insulted. Even Walmart would send a return label for faulty merchandise. Michael kors is actually my lower end carry all for everyday but never again will I purchase another one of their products.
I purchased a bag about 2 months ago, was the only one I've seen like it so I was pretty pumped. A few weeks go by and the strap just magically snapped as I was wearing it and my whole purse was on the floor. Since all of these bags are covered under warranty I contacted them and sent it back, which I had to pay for and didn't really think I should of had to after spending almost $400 on the bag. Then get a message stating it's unrepairable. It's a damn strap, how bad can it be? So they send me a list of bags that I did not like, asked for my money back or at least a gift card of what I paid and they wouldn't do that. Then asked for my broken bag back, and they wouldn't even send me that! If I knew it was that much hassle I would of paid to take it somewhere to repair it but they wouldn't even send me something that I had already paid for! They made me pick a bag from their list or get nothing and be at a loss with my money. So I picked a bag that I don't even like. And it's been weeks. I've been dealing with the customer service for over a month now and these people make it seem like it's a scam. They send an order number but yet you can't track your order, and have to wait 3 weeks to get it but I had to send mine priority mail? I WILL NEVER BUY A MICHAEL KORS BAG EVER AGAIN. From my experience they're complete $#*!.
Bought a bag/wallet and charm. Total $560 in cash. Brought back the next day with receipt for refund because I just decided I didn't like it and was going to purchase another Kate Spade. The sales girl said since I paid with cash I will get a refund by check in the mail in 4-6 weeks! AND I PAID CASH YESTERDAY. I will never buy another MK product and I told them that. This is totally unacceptable. I could understand if it was a check (which they don't accept anyways). I should have told them I didn't accept checks either. So now I'm out $560 for another month. NEVER AGAIN!
