Microsoft is NOT a good company in terms of computers. I recently got a brand new windows laptop in October 2022 that cost about $1,000 and now 70% of websites won't load. Even tried adjusting settings and had an ISP troubleshoot my Wi-Fi router and modem. I also tried contacting microsoft but every attempt failed since I was just put on hold every time. Be careful when getting Microsoft products, especially their computers since they are greedy for money. Microsoft is such a disappointment. 0 stars if I could.
It is for me to vent some thought on how and why a corporation like Microsoft let's the customer find out how to fix problems with their Software. 1- The corp management simply does not care. 2-They need to justify the existence of their Customer Service and help dept. 3-They know that billions of people are hooked on their Software.
Microsoft has become the least customer focused company on the planet. They have set up processes that prohibit individuals to call them about billing issues. They can't tell me what product or service a charge is for even after I spent 2 hours on chat and 5 hours on the phone trying to find someone to help me because I am being charged for something that I didn't even know I subscribed to. All our kids use MS software on student accounts. My wife and I don't use MS products at home, we don't have a P.C. And haven't for years. We also don't have an Xbox, a sales force account or paid linkedin accounts. Had to report the charge to Amex as fraud. They have really fallen from the young innovators who battles big blue and the men in suits who they now appear to be. No wonder nearly every other competitor is better and cooler than them
Diddnt recoved anything, not purchases. Said they cant do anything... wery disapointed... and other accounts made with the microsoft account - gone. Terrible -1/10
So I did the recommend update on my computer and now I can't use my computer it has locked me out with the claim of doing a verification but these people never send the verification email they don't offer any sort of support so I am left being locked out of my computer until one of these losers does their job. Never buying anymore of their products and I will be looking to never use their services again what a horrible experience and company.

Microsoft is a 2/10 at best. Site and navigation is hard, support is non existent. Would never as an Enterprise AE let a company I had choice in use again. Literally the worst waste of time and money. Microsoft products in general lack cloud capabilities and ease of transfer.
Extremely hard to get in touch with an AE, and generally their products dont sync well device to device/let alone company to employee/customer.

I got hacked or got a virus Idk, but my Microsoft account got stolen in the process. So I got a Mail that someone changed my Email and instantly got the next that someone also changed the reset Email, which obviously isnt suspicious at all. Anyways I tried to get in contact with the support leggit in every way I could think of. Did you know they dont even have phone support anymore?
Anyways I also tried per mail but only a bot answers you and tells you it seems totally leggit that you would change your Email to *******@rambler.ru address. To compare that: Steam shut my account down just because they bought 100€ into my steam wallet. This is helpful support Microsoft. Not "Fill a form but it doesnt really matter because no one will look at it no matter how often you fill it".
Never felt so fooled by such a big company just because they are too lazy or I dont even know to get anyone to talk to you about a problem.
We even have Microsoft 365 as a family, so we bought a product which isnt particularly cheap.
I also filled my Microsoft Drive with about 600Gb woth of photo material and used OneNote for my Studies. Never again gonna trust Microsoft with anything if they show so little interests in their own consumers
The experience I had have with Microsoft was some of the best I had ever seen. They were extremely helpful with my problem and had no ill tone!

There is absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am locked out of my account. There is no number to call. To get a call back, you have to log into your account...which I can't do! Used my spouses account to request a call back. They said they couldn't help me. To try the verification questions again (which we did and they did not work). Tried to get another callback and I have "reached my quota for callbacks for the day, try next business day". This company is a scam!
So recently my account was hacked and something went on during that time, when I got the notification of the suspension and found that another console was logged on in my account I immediately changed my password and set a 2-step verification, after doing that when they asked I got another email for suspension for 15 days, so at this time the better business bureau and my lawyer will be airing Microsoft for their incomplete actions of not helping a person in need when their account is hacked instead of helping they want your money and give you suspensions, and act like they can, and don't get me started on their Xbox safety team is the worst, when emailing them they asked for all the verifications of the 2-step verification and than bam the 15 day suspension. Microsoft you'll be losing a lot of players soon.

My subscription is for 24/7 tech support and automated help when you call tech support will not allow you to speak to a representative (useless advisors anyway). Keeps asking to use authentication and now it's not on my phone…. Can't get past that function. Garbage software! You didn't mention if it's a BA, or BFA, but either degree requires the ability to spell and use grammar correctly. This isn't a school room, but for a college grad to post their thoughts on a public forum that is at a high school level is (if you are a college grad), a sad commentary on our educational system. As for Microsoft being garbage, I do agree. It started out great and Gates encouraged employees to think outside the box, try EVERYTHING and give the product's organization feedback, which made the company number 1 with office software. But, starting with Steve telling employees it's a "terminable" offense to have a Rim phone, makes no sense. But that's the philosophy now, under no circumstances Challenge our products. Don't give us feedback on our app's, just tell us they are better than anyone else's! I remember when MSN pushed Microsoft employees to go to their internal site that has MSN on one side of the UI and Google.com on the other side. The purpose was to CHALLENGE MSN. Try both together then forward your thoughts. The intent was 1. Let Microsoft know where MSN lacks so that 2. They could make it GREAT. Unfortunately, many versions later MSN didn't figure out how to make an awesome search engine and Google is still the King, but that's how Microsoft became great, Challenging their products. Now they're really losing credibility and the public is pivoting to Apple and Open Source.
