The company has garnered mixed feedback, with customers appreciating its ability to consolidate financial information and track expenses effectively. Many users find the interface user-friendly and value the insights it provides into their spending habits. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, with frequent complaints about unresponsive support, difficulties in account management, and issues with data syncing, particularly with major banks. Additionally, intrusive advertising and the perceived complexity of account closure processes detract from the overall user experience. Overall, while the product shows potential, the customer service approach needs substantial improvement to enhance user satisfaction.

I am like many Americans and don't have a budget. I started using Mint and am now realizing that I spend much more than I thought I did. Hopefully it will help me keep my spending in check. The only down side is that you have to get use to the annoying ads (for credit cards and such).
I think Mint.com is one of the best sites on the internet. Mint.com is a powerful tool for individuals to take charge of and manage their personal finances. Mint.com takes the complex, sometimes daunting task of managing your money and makes it easy, streamlined, and even a little fun! Mint has helped me to set and achieve goals of paying off credit cards and creating an emergency savings fund. Mint.com takes all of your financial information from a variety of sources and organizes it in a way that makes the information useful so you know what is happening with your money. Mint also makes personalized recommendations of ways to save and earn more money. If you are ready to take charge of your financial future, Mint.com is a great place to start!
I love mint. It’s a really good budgeting tool, and it talks really well with my credit cards. I can see where I am in terms of spending easily, without having to use my credit cards web site. That being said, it does NOT talk well with my investment accounts. It often signs me out of them for days on end before letting me know that it can no longer speak to it. Very frustrating!
When I decided it was time to get serious about my finances, I went to Mint.com. I linked my bank account and my Paypal account to them and they've been helping me keep track of my money every since. I get alerts when my balances get low. I can set up budgets and so much more from their website. I also love to use their tablet app to keep track of my money on the go.
I love using this software it tells me all my bank account balances on one screen and shows me daily and weekly expenses broken down into categories automatically such as bars and night clubs, restaurants, gas, etc.
Great site for individual investors. I use it regularly to track my accounts.
I signed up for mint.com and loved it for a month. Gave me good insight into my spending and finances. I would recommend it to those who are want to get greater control over their financial position
I have used Mint.com for a couple years now and like how I can track my spending from multiple accounts in one location. They only thing I wish they could add is a way to actually work the accounts within the program; i. E. pay bills, move money, etc.
It was pretty cool for the first week I had it on my Android Tablet. However, I kept having to input my password and user name to keep it updated... but it didn't update. It has told me for the past 2 weeks that I haven't spent any money, when in the real world, I've spent like $1000. WTH? I was honestly kind of leary about using this site and giving them my bank login, but I haven't seen any odd transactions yet. I'm probably going to delete the app today.
I have been a user of Mint for last year. It was great but of late the functionality has regressed. Wish you may get some other help...
I have been a user of Mint for at least couple of years now, pre-Quicken acquisition. It was a great product, but of late the functionality has regressed because of which I am no longer able to recommend it. Citibank credit card linking is broken for months, now since yesterday Amex linking is broken. I have not had a day lately where some account that used to work at the last login now breaks. Looksd like Quicken acquisition has really screwed things up at Mint. It was such a great product that has been derailed. What a shame!
I love having all the account right there and being able to classify them right away or do a split. I like seeing everything on one screen. Its easy to set up, easy to change. I can see what my daughter is buying with my credit card.
I personally Love mint, just like everyone else states its pretty much a one stop shop. You don't need to go anywhere else to review all your finances and it will actually break everything down for you. So you can actually see where your money is going.
I only see one issue with this site is that you keep all your finances in one place you are completely rely on this site to protect all your personal information. I wish i knew what steps they take to actually protect it. Especially since lately even the government sites are being easily hacked into. You must wonder if someone wanted to steel all this data one day and you provided mint with all your account information and passwords what sort of damage can those hackers make.
Mint started off very good. It updated me when my accounts were low etc... then after I became good and comfortable with using Mint, my checking accounts were not updating properly on their site. Due to this inaccuracy I ended up overdrafting on one of my accounts thinking that I had funds available. Now I have to grapple with the bank to try to reverse the overdrat fees I have incurred. My fault for carelessly trusting Mint.Com and not checking the bank website as I should have! Now I am using google docs for budgeting :(. ...
Mint.com is the perfect example of a brilliant website that sold out to a giant corporation and turned to crap. This website has the ability to securely and automatically update all of your financial information (based on information you provide) and then gives a one stop snapshot of your finances, including all bank accounts, investments, loans etc. The problem is that since being bought out by Intuit/Quicken, the site is now full of glitches and their customer service/technical support is non-existent. It's like the worst Beta site ever, except there are no programmers standing by to sort out the glitches for the final release. It already is the final release. Don't waste your time with this one.
I use Mint.com for the simplest of reasons - to keep track of my accounts without needing to log into each one. I used Quicken years ago but was never diligent enough to keep up with my budget, etc. With the Mint app, I can more easily stay on track, I think / hope. Surely there are features that I'm missing out on right now, but I'm sure I'll find them with due time. For now, I appreciate how easy it is to use the tools offered on the site!
They send an email snapshot of your finances each week
Online money management tools help a lot in managing your money without any manual task. Currently i am using http://www.manageme7.com for managing my finances. It has some features which i could not find on mint.com. It is an awesome web application with the help of which i can manage my budget and track all my expenses more easily and can save more for my future.
I will be the first to admit that I am not the best at saving money. I can barely balance my checkbook and as I am writing this I am scared to look at my online credit card statement as I have no idea what I am spending. I would never buy software like quicken as I would never use it. However, a friend told me about the free services of mint and I do not really understand much of it. What I do like about mint are the very useful blogs. I just read an amazing article on the actual cost of coffee and am realizing how much money I am giving to starbucks on a yearly basis. Here is a link to the blog. Take a peek at this site, you will not regret it.
