I found velvet cards on their site and even spoke to a customer service rep to make sure this was actual velvet texture not just a print. Well they arrived and I paid 2x what i would have on other sites for "digital" velvet. Customer service then told me I selected the paper option for digital which I in turn asked if I selected a higher quality paper would it have been velvet she said no. I was offered a sorry for the miscommunication and 15% back which I find humiliating since this is their fault.
RUINED CHRISTMAS!
Selected Minted for their foil-pressed cards and quality... WELL, received a plain print card, called to rectify and after 48 minutes on hold I was verbally attacked for "a non-foil card option" which is flagrantly not true as the card is listed as foil, it's default is foil. No offer to rectify or refund. Offered a 20% credit which is less than what I paid for shipping. Adding insult to injury, the print is dull. Hopefully this is just a fluke but I must say the customer service was profit based responses and NOT customer oriented. SO so SO disappointed!
I ordered save the date samples a little while ago and they came extremely late. I called the company to get them reshipped, which they did, but that took forever. Because the save the dates sample situation was handled so well, I thought I'd take a chance and order my save the dates from them and I regret it.
Me and my fiancé spent almost $200 on save the dates. When tracking through FedEx, I received a delivery exception which pushed my delivery date back (which I had no problem with bc it was just a day), but now, as I am awake at 4:30 am they said THEY DELIVERED IT TO MY DOOR WHICH IS A LIE AS MY FIANCE WAS IN OUR LIVING ROOM THE TIME THEY SAID THEY DELIVERED IT!
WHERE ARE MY SAVE THE DATE? WHO IS LYING HERE! I am getting in contact with customer service in the morning but if I don't get rushed shipping as I PAID FOR PRIORITY SHIPPING, I'm going to be so upset! I freelance for Wedding Chicks, so I'm so excited to right an influencer brand piece of this company and how they ruin wedding experiences! I'm so dissapointed!
Since I can't give Minted my direct feedback - I will post this everywhere possible to WARN people how awful my experience has been with them.
Unless you want invitations to be the MOST stressful part of your wedding planning experience, do NOT use Minted.
Long story short - my order got stuck in the approval process (I approved the proofs and on my account the order was stuck in the "awaiting your approval" and was never sent to production) Although I called 3 separate times to try to approve my proofs, nothing could be done until technical support solved my issue. I was not given a time frame on how quickly they could fix the error. Thus, I opted to cancel the order and start from scratch. I was promised that the design would be copied for me and nothing would need to be done on my end. WRONG. I had to completely re-create my invites from scratch. Of course, the second round of proofs SUCK and the color is totally off and different from the first round of proofs.
Don't bother calling customer service, they are terrible and can do nothing. You can't speak to the person directly doing edits and making the proofs for you. Every time you call you get a new person who you have to re-explain your problem to. I literally just have to wait this one out and hope to god the thousands I spent on these wedding invitations actually gets me somewhere soon.
Minted, your customer service and company as a whole should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. I ordered Save the Dates, they were delivered totally wrong (including the printed envelopes), and have spent 3 days and COUNTLESS HOURS on hold with your useless customer service department. I will be writing a horrible review on every review website I can find in an effort to make sure you don't treat any other bride's (or anyone else in general) the way you have treated me. Absolutely horrible. Will be disputing with my credit card company first thing tomorrow.
My meal cards came looking just fine. However, (me or minted, not sure) had my(the brides) Maiden name on my meal card instead of my new married name. I tried to just reorder One meal placement card with my correct name on it and it was next to impossible. I tried to find an appropriate address to email about my situation on the site and ended up mostly navigating around the site through a bunch of pre-answered questions that had nothing to do with my task at hand. Called minted. I could hardly understand the operators accent which led me to correctly assume how difficult this would be. She put me through long bouts of hold time and essentially nothing was accomplished except for a lot of time wasted. Seriously frustrating. Contact the BBB
Looks like this updated review may have replaced my previous review. In any event. After complaint to West Elm and Minted, West Elm Rep stated a replacement framed print would be sent to me. He stated he would send documentation to the Artist to be careful not to damage the print or frame during construction of the print. Well, I received the replacement. I was assured the print etc. would be shipped free of damage this time. Again, received replacement with damage to the frame due to poorly constructed framing! See last 5 photos.
I ordered wedding invitations, RSVPs, and envelopes through Minted for a total of $442. The printing on the invitation and RSVP was off registration (colors weren't lining up) and had to be reprinted and rush shipped two separate times. After the failed third attempt I was told by a supervisor that this simply wasn't a design they could print successfully.
After being promised a full refund by said supervisor, I was then somehow unbelievably charged $442 a second time. Three weeks after the double billing and I still sit here calling them constantly asking for my $884 refund. Each time the supervisor says she's personally spoken to a financial member about refunding me, yet nothing ever happens.
Please avoid this horrendous company at all costs.
Hi order my wedding invitations two months ago. This has been the biggest nightmare ever! One the stickers that where provided ripped all the invitations that we had sent out. So when people opened them half of the information was stuck to the sticker. Secondly we went for the trifold postcard style and the postcard had sticky stuff stock to it from the tape that was provided, which caused them to get stuck to other mail and in the end get lost. I had over 16 invitations get lost in the mail, most of them all rip due to the tape you provided for sealing them, and lastly 10 plus RSVP postcards get lost in the mail. The amount of stamps and money I had spent to resend is so beyond frustrating not to mention rude. I am embarrassed by the fact that my invitations where destroyed when opening and mortified that so much got lost. While in theory this all seemed like such a affordable option in reality it if I could do it again I would never have went with your company. I will not be recommending minted to anyone!
Wanted to re-order 25 additional wedding invites and RSVPs
Primary order did not allow for re-ordering design and design not saved in system despite saving several times during initial ordering.
Very poor customer service stating had to re-design to re-order additional invites. Time consuming initial order and re-ordering
Paid high cost for expedited service and received 2 weeks late.
Avoid this site especially since there are so many other on-line services to order from
Ordered my WEDDING invitations and asked for a review... they arrived today and you cannot read it the font is soo small. So disappointing.
I ordered my wedding invitations from minted. I went with the All-in-one design thinking it would be a nice simple design. When I received them, I was very happy with them, they were very pretty and just what I expected. I followed the directions exactly as they instructed to assemble them with 3 clear stickers after folding them. Once they went through the mail, everyone that received them said they were opened, the perforation was torn for the RSVP and some were missing the inside card that was placed inside with important information for my wedding. These have a major design flaw since they do not hold up in the mail process. I was beyond disappointed! This was the first impression of my wedding and they were a disaster and looked horrible by the time my guests received them.
Website was down for 2 hours when trying to order, customer service gave me a 10% discount for this annoyance. Then the cards came and over 1/3rd of them had golden ink splotches all over. The customer service rep offered me another 10% off discount which didn't even cover the cost of the cards, not to mention the fact that Christmas was in 7 days and they had no option to reprint them and get them to me in time. I had to threaten to file a chargeback to get 50% of my money back. NEVER WILL I USE MINTED AGAIN!
Cards arrived late despite having paid $25 to expedite shipping, and arrived too damaged to use and with printing errors. Took 6 tries to reach anyone there. Website "email" form does not work. Finally got through on phone, was verbally promised refund. Then got email from Minted "We're reprinting your order." Don't want reprint given terrible quality - want refund. I shipped back the stamps and cards to them and they refunded the stamps but not the cards! They still owe me $500 (did I mention they are shockingly overpriced?) 3 weeks later am still going back and forth with Minted, or rather trying to reach them and they are not responsive. Their correspondence has been deliberately devious. Complete fraud. Avoid.
I ordered our holiday cards here because I think this site has lovely designs. However, once we received the cards, the main photo was printed very light and washed out and the font was muddy and difficult to read. I contacted customer service via chat since the phone service hours are limited. My chat was unbelievably slow -- each response took several minutes (some up to seven minutes) and after 45 minutes, they asked me to email a photo of the card - which I did. From there, it took two days to receive a response and each communication after that took a couple days for a response -- every time with a different agent. I asked for a credit to my account since I wanted to revise the design to ensure that it would be clearer/easier to read, but they went ahead and just reprinted the same card - despite me asking them not to. It's been a week since I originally contacted customer service and I still don't have a resolution -- nor a holiday card. Never again.
I ordered rush service for Christmas cards on 12/11. Ordered was promised for 12/17. Upon checking on the order through my account on the website, it showed the order still in process on 12/17. A phone call to Customer Service had them tell me it had been shipped but they were unable to provide a Tracking Number, claiming FedEx had been very unreliable. I came to learn that Minted does not print the cards. The service is contracted out to multiple suppliers therefore they have no information on site or readily accessible as to the status of an order. They will promise the moon but no way to assure delivery.
Needed to make small edits on our Christmas card message... waited over 40 minutes with online "chat help"... only to be told I'd have to CANCEL the entire card and start over... No Edits allowed. Minted will charge you plenty for every tiny upsell... but has NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT that is designed for the actual needs of their customers. NEVER AGAIN!
Ordered holiday cards I they sent the wrong set of envelopes TWICE, and after dealing with customer service for TWO hours PLUS the time spent on dealing with the wrong envelopes at home they offered me nothing complimentary. The "manager" and "supervisor" both refused to upgrade my envelopes with free return address printing which I asked for to compensate me for my massive inconvenience (and the fact that I used all my own sticker address labels on the incorrect envelopes so now I need to buy more). They flat out said no. Horrible customer service and the website messed up the addresses also. Will not be using them next year.
We are having a destination wedding with a small party back home. We ordered two sets of save the dates with envelopes. When we received our save the dates, only one of our cards was there. The other belonged to some other couple. HUGE MISTAKE.
We complained and they sent us the save the dates that we were missing.
Now that we had both sets, we went to stuff our envelopes with both. We were sent the correct number of envelopes (55). We had ordered 55 of each set of save the dates. Now when we went to fill them, we realized they had sent us 48 of one card and 60 of the other card. WTF. I will definitely not be using them for our invitations.
Poor experience - will never try again. I ordered invitations that I specifically purchased because they offered a gold lining in the envelope - I thought it would look very elegant... however the invitations arrived with no lining - called and they said they were out of stock. They offered a refund of the lining - and I said no - I chose these invitations & matching thank you notes because of the presentation - if I had know that you didn't have the lining, I would have purchased a different invitation. So the second woman I talked to offered a full refund - said I didn't have to return them... waited a few days and only got a partial refund. Called to inquire and was then told that was never offered... so now they're calling me a liar on top of being incompetent. So once I've talked to the 3rd person, they said that I would have to return the invites for a refund, I said fine - I want an email confirmation... they send a confirmation, but are only refunding the invites not the MATCHING thank you notes... these people are the worst - the absolute WORST... Please go somewhere else... If you're expecting custom and quality - this is not the place - I promise you that.
Answer: I was trying to do that but couldn't get an answer or find out. I would say no, not possible. I order a bunch of holiday cards, cost almost $300 with pre-printed addresses. 3 weeks, still waiting.
Answer: I couldn't find that. I ordered 100 holiday cards. Cost approaching $300. Been a few weeks and have no real delivery date. Today is 12/22. Oh well, they will be new years cards instead
