Ordered a card and present for my wife's birthday paid for the delivery they didn't turn up got some idiot email saying they will be there tomorrow as if that's ok, avoid this tin pot company complete waste of money
Order was promised on Tuesday. It is now Wednesday and still no item and the anniversary card is needed today. Moonpig are refusing a refund. Telling me to reject the order when it arrives (2 days later than promised) but nobody will be in to reject it so basically I have to accept the items I no longer want or need and there is nothing they can do. I didn't choose Royalmail as a delivery partner and I no longer need the items and they are now irrelevant
Family in UK sent a card for delivery prior to a birthday in the US. It arrived a week late with printing off the page. Not a great service and their quality control is obviously not there. Would not recommend.
Not empathetic at all. To my knowledge first class is next day or two working days max. 1-3 working days is 2nd class delivery. My mother does not have her birthday card I made for her and instead of accepting the mishap I was told wait until 4pm and see if it turns up. If not then you will be refunded. So will have to tell my mother to wait until 4pm to open cards if not we can postpone to tomorrow!

Ordered a balloon and champagne gift for my best friends engagement! They charged me but only delivered the balloon! I'm boiling mad they ruined the suprise! Also they have taken my money!
Ordered a father's day card and upgraded to include a 'pub in a box' connection of beers. Unfortunately one of the cans was split and spoiled the box as well as being one beer down. The outer postage box was not damaged.
When I found out I contacted Moonpig. The insisted on getting a picture, but the box has been disposed of by my dad at the time. Without a picture there was 'nothing they could do'.
What happened to customer care!? - I'm not going to use Moonpig again and discouraged everyone else.
The most disgusting company out there. I paid out my backside for a father's day card and set of gifts to be sent via fastest delivery, ready for father's day. Father's day is here and my dad doesn't have his gifts. The order is still "processing" online. One vile agent called "James" couldn't seem to grasp that my order still hadn't been dispatched, insisting it would be sent today. When I spoke to another agent, she informed me my gifts WERE OUT OF STOCK. So how could I 1) pay for something out of stock and 2) not be informed at any stage they never had my dad's gift. So I had to cancel everything, leaving my dad with $#*! all for father's day. Absolute disgrace. Should be shut down
Managed to mess up an order for a once in a lifetime occasion not once but twice and probably the worst customer service I have ever received
Extremely unhelpful customer service who refused to refund despite being told that the order was no longer wanted and would rather I sued them through the county court in the UK so I intend to.
Will never ever use this company again
If you like the idea of ordering things and waiting to see if they come then choose Moonpig. It's not guaranteed that you will receive your cards and when you don't you can enjoy the unfiltered joy of talking to an agent via 'Live Chat' - who will take almost as long to respond to each question as you did waiting for your cards to not arrive. So seriously if you're the type of person that enjoys the thrill of waiting at an airport baggage carousel to see if your bags made your last tight connection then by all means knock yourself out and order stuff from Moonpig!
When it started (many many years ago) it was good, not anymore.

Don't expect to actually receive your order
I've used Moonpig for years and they have made many mistakes (late deliveries, items sent to wrong recipients, muddled orders) so more fool me for using them again.
This time there was a printing error apparently, so my mother didnt get her 60th birthday card and gift, she got someone else's card. She reported this to them and they said they would send out the correct card. It's a bank holiday weekend so she isn't going to receive it until next week when her birthday was Friday. This is not acceptable.
I requested a refund and that they not resend it and they said no as 'the recipient has requested they resend it' but gave me a £5 credit (the order was much more than this). The recipient is not the customer, I am. I believe this is contrary to my consumer rights and have reported them to trading standards. I will never use this company again.
I've never had an issue with Funky Pigeon (apart from lack of variety) and there are many other online card stores to choose from and I will be using them in future. I strongly advise you to do the same.
This is not a one off. My friend's last two birthday cards to me never arrived from Moonpig and in one instance, to apologise, they sent 5 copies of the same (photo) card to him. What use is that?!
If you want your items to actually arrive and/or be the correct item when they do, don't use Moonpig.
N.b., Moonpig, do not put your standard response under this review. I have no intention of contacting you to discuss. I have spent two days doing that and your customer service sucks.
Do not use. Never deliver on time and then won't refund.
Offered to refund my delivery cost as a credit even though card was delivered 5 days late.

Once you miss someone's birthday it's over there's no going back and it's just beyond disappointing.
It cost over £40 and it ruined my nephews birthday as he'll now only get a card on the actual date. Ordered both balloons + card for 18th. Moonpig delivered balloons on 10th. Tried to stop delivery but email was ignored. No apology or compensation from Moonpig - they don't care once they have your money and they blamed their system for the error (it's a terrible system - and I think mistakes like this will happen a lot). In the end, on the on line Moonpig chat you end you just talking to someone who can't do anything but refund a small delivery charge - absolutely useless - stay away from this company - it seems to be set up to take your money, make mistakes and then ignore you.

I have had a number of prebooked orders not turn up...one yes it was during the postal strike time so I will let them off...but in that same month they sent out a 40th celebrations card that was pre ordered (for the correct date) one month early. I contacted them they said they had put a stop on it, but obviously had not! This was just the start of my trouble with Moonpig...I should have left it at that and taken it as a sign not to order from them again!
From then onwards they sent out wrong orders to the incorrect recipient! And some orders recipients have received two cards weeks apart! I have now not received an order I am waiting on, and instead of despatch the card again, which is all I have ever asked for, they are making out as though the previous issues they have done me a favour by refunding me, which by the way has always been in credit to use on them again, so never really ever a refund.
So now I would like someone to investigate this as I have been let down so many times, and now being punished for mistakes that have been of Moonpig! Very unprofessional. Do not order from here guys.
This specific order I have been let down on, has let an entire group down, and ruined a wonderful surprise we all worked so hard on creating.
Honestly save your money and order from gettingpersonal.co.uk. Much cheaper and much better service.
Order two cards once at xmas and one last week. Both cards not delivered. Moonpig blaming the post office. Offer refund or resend cards this is not acceptable. They should do more to help. Next will go to funky pigeon. Com think I will try them now after beening with moonpig for years.
Some of the pictures were so blurry! I made a complaint and they said due with high quality picture it will come out with blur. We didn't get any warning when doing the images like other companies does. The customer service said we should read the term and conditions before doing it. Bloody joke!
Moonpig used to be very reliable but no longer... this is the second and last time they have failed to deliver birthday cards. They send an email saying it is on its way but it doesn't turn up. After spending the best part of 2 hours trying to get through to online chat I was told it was a processing error and had not been sent out. The only plus is they have allegedly refunded me. Not much consolation for the missed birthdays.
Wish I had looked at reviews first before ordering, flowers arrived today for my mum and the box had been crushed probably under the weight of other boxes saved some of the flowers the rest were dead. Won't be using them again it was a waste. Instead of a happy surprise it turned out that I gave my mum a few dead flowers. Can't not leave proof of the flowers as my mum is 83 and doesn't know how to add photos and I live 400 miles away
I ordered personalised card for my bf 60th bday, did not arrive so I re-ordered it and still didn't arrive, I asked for a refund they said it can take to 5 to 10 working days, im very disappointed to this card company, not reliable, now i'm having to try and find different better card company!

My mum ordered from Moonpig for my aunty's birthday. My mum is a pensioner so not much money to spare. She ordered the flowers along with a card. The flowers received was just awful and ready for the bin. Half the heads were of the stems. My mum made a complaint to Moonpig stating she wasn't happy their reply was nothing they can do as she hadn't followed the 7 day care. Now bearing in mind these were only delivered yesterday so not even a day old. Would not recommend this awful company. I will attach photos of what should of been received and to what she actually got.
I will never use this company again. It is not worth the risk of missing a loved ones important day. This is the second time I ordered birthday card and it never arrived on time. In fact they took over two weeks to be delivered. When I contacted their customer service they seemed to read a script saying "we are sorry but..." The email notices I received were wrong about the delivery and one of the cards has still not been delivered. There was never a clear understanding why the cards are late in delivery and there is no reason for me to ever use this service again.
