O. The excavator was to have a three cylinder water cooled EPA certified Yanmar Diesel engine, when the excavator arrived it had a single cylinder air cooled Chinese made Koop Diesel engine. None of the additional specifications were met. The excavator has 30% less horsepower is narrower is shorter and lighter than the excavator I was quoted.
When I received the excavator on 6/30/2021 I immediately notified the salesperson of the engine discrepancy. After several days the manufacturer replied that the Koop engine has good function. I responded that since I did not order a Koop that didn't matter.
Within a few days I notified alibaba of the problem. Neither Shandong Jiesheng or Alibaba have been very helpful.
It has now been five and a half months about 60 messages back and forth to get nowhere.
My advice is if you buy anything fairly expensive from China do not pay until your product has been verified. If you count on Alibaba to protect you with their "Trade Assurance" you may be sorely disappointed.
In my opinion Shandong Jiesheng and Alibaba have dealt with me dishonestly.
Additionally the manufacturer supplied me with fictitious serial numbers and an EPA compliance document for the Yanmar engine that were submitted to customs.
