I have had an excellent experience with NACA! I am still in the pre-qualification phase, but my counselor, Ellen, has been wonderful and so, so helpful. NACA's workshop and set-up with a NACA counselor (I was lucky enough to work with Ellen!) is making me feel more prepared than ever to become a homeowner- something I never thought would be in my future. I am very, very grateful to NACA for this support and empowerment and to Ellen for her patience and knowledge! I HIGHLY recommend participating in NACA's program.

NACA is taking the world by storm helping everybody that is anybody to become first time home buyers. I'm in the process of becoming the first time home buyer with the help of my counselor Ellen Petersen she's been very helpful in the process by explaining everything I need to do to get through this she's very experienced and very professional. I'm a licensed realtor going through the NACA homebuying experience, however I haven't been actively selling in the DMV area. After graduating from graduate school in 2018, I found myself attempting to navigate the job market with a humanities degree unsuccessfully and then COVID hit. In the past, I did assist clients that were interested in purchasing through NACA so I was somewhat familiar with the program. My counselor, Megan, has been very thorough and extremely helpful. I know with her assistance I will be successful.

While the NACA Journey seem daunting, it is a great experience, because the counselors keeps working with you to the end. Patience is the key. Looking forward to telling my sweet success story.

This process has been dragging almost a year. NACA appear to have more clients than staff to accommodate those applying. I've been in program since April of 2023. Now I'm told that I only qualify for $100,000 which is a piece of junk. I should have been told that my income was too low when I first signed up and gave all my personal information instead of this long drawn out process. What a let down. Your staff need to do better. How many more people will be treated like I was. All this time I could have looked elsewhere.

Naca is a great program, but if you have a visual impairment like I do, I had a very hard time with the program, and all that it asks for otherwise, my realtor was great my counselor was great they just need to work on accommodating people with disabilities.

NACA has provided an opportunity for me to see how I can improve my life by saving and becoming a home owner, my experience with the counselor has been amazing. Everyone that I've encountered on this journey has been very helpful. I am looking forward to purchasing my home with their help.

I'm currently going through the NACA program. You have to be very determined and dedicated to complete this process. Though it's a lot, I know it will pay off in the end. As a first time home buyer, I am having the opportunity to learn as I go, which is absolutely important. I feel very well guided and confident with NACA. I've tried other options as a first time home buyer and each time fell short due to lack of communication and understanding. Excited for what may be next.

I heard about Naca in 2021 amid the pandemic and attended my first workshop in 2022. I knew when I was ready to buy I would chose Naca because of all the pros. Between then and now, I have made sure to complete all the requirements and I'm so excited to be able to complete this journey with Naca. The counselors I've had have been very amazing and most importantly patient along the way. If you are unsure, attend a workshop and see if this is the right program for you. It was for me.
