The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

Web.com has provided ongoing support throughout my whole web-building experience. Everyone I've dealt with has been professional and has taken the time to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is just starting a business.
I was so amazed at how easy it was to get every thing I need in one phone call. Along with follow up contact info if I need it, making sure that any thing I need is one call away...
Thanks Mr. Kelyn God bless
Rachael was most helpful and guided me through decisions I was unable to make myself. Thank you Rachael for helping me. I know JeanProDenim.Com will be successful with your help.
Sincerely,

Everybody was very helpful. However Real good service is measured in results. I will wait to see if you improve my internet business before fully endorsing you.
Thanks
Honestly the service was so good it caught me off guard I thought it might have been fraud because you rarely find such good companies like that any more. But it was very so real so happy to have them working on my non profits website
Moved through process in a non-cumbersome low pressure manner. Hope follow through maintains this style and proves it's substance
I cannot say enough about the service I received from Pat Pederson with respect to my purchasing a website development package. He was patient, listened intently to my needs, and helped me find the best solution for my company. I was very impressed and so grateful! He then passed me on to Joe O'Neil. While I haven't worked with him yet, he conducted a very good intake interview. Hopefully, the process will go smoothly.
Ms. Caroline Kay is leading a good team!
Please feel free to contact me at *******@gmail.com or *******949 if I can be of more help.
Thank you!

A website customer just forwarded a "renewal notice" she received from web.com for a domain that is similar, but is not hers. The site is registered to web.com and I am certain this is a come on and an attempt to extract money from an unsuspecting person.
Seeing all the bad reviews I had to put my two cents in and say that I had a good experience with them. I purchased a domain with register.com for. 50 with a promotion and paid only I think 5 bucks for the hosting.
I had a lot of problems with the hosting itself and contacted support a lot regarding it and I threaten to cancel my account which in turn they offered me another free month.
I thought they handled it very professionally and they were always available when I called or while working on my site they would chat with me.
This hosting side does need a lot of work but one thing I did like about it too is that once you register, it will ask for your company name and then all the templates will have your business name prewriten which was really nice since I'm not that good with words.
So four stars from me... they didn't quite get the fifth star but I may try them again and see if I can rate them better.
Thanks for the kind words and feedback Joseph - let us know if we can assist you any further!

I signed up on 6/20/16 for a domain at $5.90, somehow my billing I found out was to be $32.00 per month. I never at all agreed on this price, and immediately I cancelled my account. There is no way I could pay that amount, as I am living on my pension. Not only that because my computer is mac *******, I could not open their website. I was told by Web.com to upload chrome to get in to their site. However, chrome could not upload an old mac, neither would firefox, and none of the staff knew what to do. Being close to the weekend with banks closed. I on Monday will visit my branch, and renew my old credit car for a new credit card. Actually, I found the staff with limited knowledge of the internet. I spent some four hours trying to get answers, why am I charged $thirty two dollars per month that I did not agree on? With no real explanation I had the good sense to say Bye bye Web.com., and I wish Web.com success in the future training their staff to be efficient. Without efficiency creates big problems, welcome to the world of the internet.
Regards JD

I had to cancel my credit card to stop them from stealing. Even when I called them they took all of my credit. Stay away from web.com
I was number one for all searches in my geographic area for over three years, I hoped to increase my web presence so I employed Web.com. They reregistered my company under the wrong name and submitted the name to all search engines, etc. Now I am down to number five. The explanation I received was it was my fault. I have done nothing that I have not done in the past with the several sites I have built. THE IGNITE PROGRAM IS A DISASTER!
I signed up in November of 2015 and is still currently with them (looking at other alternatives with my budget). Upon sign up they fail to disclose alot of useful information found out in January to put a reset for the seo settings in that i cant make any changes on the website (which what they built is outdated www.sincitycomicsdirect.com) for 3 months (however they did give 1 free month), for 6 months only one sale there solution was/is to pay them more. The only ones making money on my website is them. BUYER BEWARE
You are the worst company on the planet! I couldn't publish my site because they couldn't get it right so despite the fact that I was paying 179.00 per month I did a lot of it myself but the parts that I needed help with ((((((such as making sure the responsive coding was place on the pages so on mobile devices the site was clear)))))), and I asked them to do -----they still couldn't get it right. It's been 3 months and my site still isn't published! Then they promise to get a senior rep on my case ----should they have not done that from the beginning? Why do they have people working there that SOUND like they know what they're doing but really don't. I have more examples but won't waste my time - don't use them, they will take your money for nothing in return!
I was with domain.com for many years and in the last few years they starting to constantly try to charge me fraudulently for a product that is not even associated with my account. I left domain.com for namecheap.com and will never go back to those criminals.
Dishonest! Call immediately to cancel or they will keep charging you for a service you are not using. *******646
When I started with web.com I thought I was using an inexpensive trial period. When I realized I was being charged for more than I bargained for ( along with terrible website building software) I cancelled my account being told I could not receive a refund for the surprise domain name charges. So I let it go. When a year later I was charged $37 for the domain name on a cancelled account. I had to fight tooth a nail in order to get this refunded by customer service who only wanted to prove to me the charges were justified. Now I cannot get my credit card info off of the website and have to live in fear that they will only charge me again... DO NOT USE WEB.COM

I signed up for a website builder to build a website for my company. There was an initial low cost cost for trial period. I tried to set up a ebsite but the website builder wasn't working. I kept calling and they said that they were working on fixing it and it would be resolved in a couble days. THis went on for 2 wees. We were on a very tight schedule so I told them I could not wait anylonger and was transferring my website to Squarespace. I had 2 days left to build the site. Thanks to the excellent customer service, Squarespacewalked me through all the steps and helped create the website I needed. I just found out that web.com has been charging me $33 a month since April for nothing. I called and spoke to very rude customer service representative who told me she could only give me credit for Jan (it is Jan 5) so basically no refund. She said their terms and conditions are very clear (NOT SO) and that when I said I was not using them and switching to another company, I did not say I wanted to cancel. Of course, I wanted to cancel. DO NOT work with Web.com. They use whatever technigue they can to lure you in and than start charging you regularly for something you don't want. They have the worst customer service!. I have my own buiness and if one of my customer service representatives ever treated a client the way I was treated, they would be fired! As uyou can see from previous complaints and BBB complaints I am not the only dissatified customer

Web.com owes me a refund of over $1200 and has yet to respond to my claim! I was playing around with a few different sites online and saw that web.com had a site for $3.12. I set up a couple in order to try out a few different option and then forgot I had even set it up until a few months later when I saw 3 different charges for $35 for the previous 3 months. I called immediately and told them that I needed a refund and to cancel my account. Apparently they only cancelled 1 and left the other two going. I had set this up with my savings account, which I never look at and now see that they've been billing me for the past year and a half! I called multiple times and keep getting the run around... I will be going on all media sites and express my concerns until my accounts are refunded in FULL!

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
