My experience is that it's just a group of complainers who like to $#*! and talk about local/state issues but have no incentive to do anything but complain. They don't take action in writing to their local representatives or even voting for government officials. They just like to complain and bully people who don't agree with them.

They banned our nextdoor account just because we encourage our neighbors through Bible scriptures. Many neighbors loved our post, and they obviously saw that. Someone in leadership dropped the ball on deleting our account,and whoever made this decision shouldn't be ashamed of someone who is clearly on our USA DOLLAR BILL "IN GOD WE TRUST" the person who deleted us, is the one who has harassed, and moved in discriminating ways towards us and our household. We are disgusted and hurt indeed! (Military family)
SOOOOO WHATS THE PROBLEM AGAIN?

This a mostly useless platform, mostly for people with nothing better to do with their time. Unfairly blocked from this platform because I made a post about the rural carrier in our neighborhood not delivering packages and often when they are delivered they are put in the wrong box. I suspect he lurks on this platform because 1 day after posting my account was permanently banned. Reported and even though I did not use my full name on that site, I am sure the incompetent rural carrier figured out it was me because I am very vocal to the postal master here about missing packages and mail. Oh well, lol.

When GFM was a site where neighbors could share stories, find help with projects, and generally keep up with the goings-on in their areas, the addition of "gofundme" has overshadowed all the good things that used to be NextDoor. There seems to be no filter for those asking, and many are outright fraudulent requests. The one that really put me over the edge was asking to fund their WEDDING! Yikes! They didn't even have a sad story to tell...a blatent money grab. ND doesn't even have GFM as a separate "category" as they do for many other topics. We are beseiged by GFM's and are sick and tired of it, especially because we have NO assurance that these requests are valid. I would love to see ND revert back to its original purpose. Meanwhile, I just delete most of the GFM requests. If it weren't for those who use it to give and receive information, I would have delteted the entire site.

If you hold a conservative view you will be permanently suspended. Just supporting a Republican fundraiser has offended someone on $#*! door and they banned me.

The people who monitor it are insecure, fat & ugly. I would comment on a business that asks what do u recommend and I WOULD SAY I DON'T RECOMMEND and they would delete it and I would start a group who ARE REBORN CHRISTIANS and LOVE & LIVE for JESUS and the TURDS would remove it, they suffer from L.D.S ( little $#*! syndrome) HAHAHAHA I'm Scottie the Body

If you do not conform to the ideology of the alphabet groups, Democrat lawlessness or visitors from the South of the border and kneel to the sites fascism than the moderators will regularly boot you out for having a difference of opinion. They usually just call you a racist and block your account. You can't talk about local neighborhood politics or even crime on this site if it offends the moderators or if it shows images of minorities committing crimes. The moderators will lie and say the algorithm is what gets you kicked out, but you will find out very fast it is the moderators with God like egos that are kicking those off the site that do not agree with their fascist ideology. This site has nothing to do with neighborhoods if you are restricted what you can say about news in your neighborhood. I hope someone with enough money comes along and puts this site out of business with a real neighborhood site.

After using this app for many years, my account was permanently disabled for no reason. Also, many of my friends who speak with respect and kindness but disagree with many of the progressive viewpoints. However, the progressive side is allowed to post while the conservative side is not. It doesn't matter if we adhere to the guidelines or not, as there is always a fake reason why they chose to get rid of us. This two tier level of justice seems to parallel many other social media sites. Thank goodness that Elon bought X. At lease there is some freedom of speech left. I think that people are getting tired of ND's discrimination, and that's why their stock price is plummeting Maybe if they fix this flaw and allow the same level of free speech to all, their stock will go up!

Absolutely the WORST company when it comes to data privacy
REQUIRED to use your real name and address
REQUIRED to provide access to your financial, browsing history, contacts, messages, microphone, basically your ENTIRE PHONE so they can sell your data.

If you go to their website to try to OPT OUT as is your RIGHT in my state, they day you can opt out of your data being harvested but all the links they provide you are to dead end help articles and they NEVER provide you with the opt out link, as is REQUIRED BY LAW. I'll be in contacting my attorney general and requiring a formal inquiry into their violation of state privacy laws.

When I download the app I looked around seen people gospel and people was asking for things. The point is I ask or help for my little girl; They was saying harsh remarks bullying in verbal is against policy right. But I also told I was disable and have ms and blind.They was really disrespectful

The Leads and Moderators hide comments they personally disagree with calleng them disrespectful. The most TOXIC social media platform in existence.

Sites have asked me my recommendation and I said I DON'T and they remove it, I have posted about finding other reborn Christians to form a group who love JESUS & put HIM 1st to gather at a date & time & they removed it, the ppl who r in charge are fat, ugly, insecure & suffer from LDS ( little $#*! syndrome.) They permanently banned me, oh no I'm sooooo sad, yours truly Scottie the Body hung like a horse.

I have complained openly and via email and forms and Nextdoor for not bother to research and review the very well documented concerns in and others have put forth. I have so many screen shots and emails in regards of on this and have sent it off but they refuse to do anything. If they refuse to act upon the multitude of information I and others have submitted to them then they must condone and by lack of taking care of the issue they condone it. Now when you question them they will ignore you via the forms and email and refuse to respond.

This is a toxic environment, the "staff" are not properly trained and abuse is rampant.

I have many, MANY screen shots and emails I would gladly share with anyone who asks and they will be unedited.

This site contains advocation of illegal activities, trying to point it out results in banning and suspension. Disgusting moderation practices.

Their "rules" state the selling of live animals is prohibited but they currently have several breeders advertising puppies in time for Christmas. When this was brought to the attention of a nextdoor reviewer she told them to go in and change puppies for sale to puppies being rehomed. So an actual individual that reviews posts told these breeder how to lie to get around the rules and thinking that the readers are so stupid that they wouldn't see what she did but yet the suspended other accounts for the dumbest reason, usually it those who complain about the sale of live animals they go after. By these reviewers behavior they have damaged the creditability of nextdoor.

I have posted many post that have been popular post to be pulled for misinformation or discrimination when they had been facts and by no means discriminatory but one bully has your post deleted if he does not like it. You can block people but it only blocks you from seeing their content they can still see yours. This leaves you wide open to threats,slander, name calling all without your knowledge unless people in your neighborhood inform you. You can complain to Nextdoor all they do is delete some of the guys post they do nothing to make their app safer. The guy is allowed to continue the bullying not just to me but others as well. A lot of people have complained about him. Every post I post he somehow gets it pulled even if it's about nothing because he knows he is allowed to bully. The man's actions are very dangerous he seems to get obsessed with people in a bad way and potentially could snap. If you ignore him he continues to make remarks but if you say something he will delete everything he said to push you to defend yourself then he turns you in as though he's the victim.several have complained abt this and they are punished by Nextdoor not the bully. I've heard from neighbors this guy has made threats to me I've turned him in to Nextdoor and they have done nothing.they do not delete or suspend him they reward him. They need to make their platform safe for all users also you can not delete your account and when you try if you had your last name hidden before it will then show your last name and other personal inf which is another dangerous flaw.

If you want to hear about pathetic grown men whining about cars driving too fast over the speed limit, people not cleaning up dog poop, coyotes, and other nightmares of suburban America then sign up.

It's difficult (if not impossible) to post about local events, if a reviewer disagrees with the specific choice of words.

This site is nothing more than the arm of the Democrat party with ppl who have nothing better to do than block, belittle and be self-righteous... heaven help you if you have a conservative view or state FACTS over feelings, you will be bullied and get your account suspended from a hidden left speech police that over see's your comments. I got my account flagged and suspended for stating I saw a crime and the subjected was of dark skin who committed the crime, this in turned from there point of view made me a racist! Which I am not!
