Biased postings
November 12, 2023

There is a reason why Nextdoor stock has dropped 90%. Some have blamed it on the pandemic, but the main reason is the biased removal of postings based on "community standards" which are very vague and is reviewed by unknown persons. It is simply a guise to take down your opinion if it doesn't agree with their prevailing political climate of the staff. It is a sinking ship and no clear minded investor or advertiser would spend monies on a repressive organization knowing that rewards will be minimal if any

Business side of Nextdoor
November 11, 2023

I am the owner of a local business. I tried Nextdoor's advertisement. Even after confirming that I do have a legit company, I do not have access to see clients post or have interaction with them at all. It says that my ads have hits but have not had any hits on my website from Nextdoor which is strange considering my website is all over my ads. This makes me believe that I am getting inaccurate reports of how many people are actually seeing my ads. Nextdoor is not user friendly. You will not be able to reach any support.

A business hosted on Next Door is quoting labor such as hardscape repairs, is taking down payments from clients, then never showing up to do the job. Next Door has been notified but as of yet has not taken down the business. I found 4 people within an hour who had lost $4,000 to the business owner and Next Door could prevent more from being stolen by removing the business. In the future, they could vet businesses before allowing them on the Next Door app.

The most fascist platform i have seen, they will censor all medical and scientific information, actively preventing informed consent, in the middle of a medically experimental crisis, they censor all truthful science and information and push and publish only corporate-approved disinformation and misinformation, and prevent u also from criticizing them. They actively disseminate false information as truth, going above and beyond to protect the profits of big pharmaceutical companies w a very well known criminal history, by preventing ppl from sharing concerning information that contradicts the propaganda.
THESE R KILLERS WITH KEYBOARDS, their 'reviewers' r their souless Milgram Experiment npcs to lead u to ur death!

They censored me for using one word 'wrong'('scamdemic' - experimental medical decisions), they censored me when i asked qs about the 5g tower down my street (medical experiment, new tech), they censored me when i made a comment that a homeless man needs a priest, because he was talking to himself (called it 'shaming', yet i did not post the video, just expressed compassion!?), they censored me when i made comments about the Nuremberg Code, and they censored me for criticizing them. THESE R KILLERS W NO CONSCIENCE, they WILL push false information for $$$!

If you don't agree with transgender narrative that nextdoor is supporting, your account will be suspended. It is more transgender app than family/ neighbors app

Nextdoor is a joke. It is mainly used for whiny people to vent their illogical daily rants or to sell something. I originally joined this website at it's beginning for the purpose of being aware of my community. What a disappointment in the website and the community. Moderators are brainless and prejudice. They will moderate somethings and not others regarding the same issues. This is NOT a free speech website! I became so tired of all the whining and complaining that I discontinued use of this terrible website.

I was told that I needed a normal name by one of the members who felt the need to try to bully me, I told them to please be polite. I do not have an American name. I was discriminated upon and harassed for my name. Many years after my account was verified, name and physical address I was harassed by having my account permanently suspended for not using my real name?! The name and address were verified by NextDoor. This is my real name! The harassment and violation of my civil rights as an American citizen is unacceptable. I will be following up with legal action to ensure my rights are not violated.

Nextdoor is a joke
October 30, 2023

You're not allowed to have a conversation about a post when someone wants to bash the person who made the post. "It's disrespectful". No, it's a woke society! A bunch of BS! Deleted the app!

I asked Nextdoor to delete my account after having them block many of my comments. VERY tame comments but I guess not politically correct enough for thier spineless pajama boy monitors. So many better places to interact on the web.

Well they keep at it, so do I. Surprised I'm still allowed on the site. It's always the same thing, I was offending others, bullying, or making racist comments. Oh, you mean anything like, " Black Lives Matter only caused nation wide kaos, even deaths as a result. Riots, looting and fires." Or, " George Floyd wasn't murdered by police, he died as a result of too much fentanyl in his system " The reason they were found guilty of murder, was due to extreme fear of what would happen if they were found innocent. You see, you can only be in support of the disgusting woke agenda. You can't say anything against it. Or you are a racist. If I say, I love BLM, thats allowed, If I say All lives matter, that isn't. Recently, I posted about the problem with all these Asylum Seekers flowing across the border non stop, and how its putting a strain on cities everywhere. And they need to shut it down, before there isn't much of an America left. I received an account suspension ( another one) Yes, some ultra sensitive weasel of a moderator, probably from Venezuela, decided they did not like what I said. If I say, " Yes, I'm so happy that they let anyone into the U.S. anymore, even if it's not sustainable " Then that's ok. This is what the site does, makes up its own rules as it goes along. People can call me names, but I can't call them anything in return. This is the most disgusting, woke site I have ever seen. If you are missing your cat, its good, if you found some ones housekey, or phone, its useful for that. This site cherry picks what can be said, by who. This site is bias and unfair to whites. Most of the people on Nextdoor live in some kind of comfort bubble, that is too easily damaged, they would not last one minute in the real world.

Date of experience: October 24, 2023

I have had my account suspended repeatedly, for voicing my opinion. On current matters that are affecting the nation. For example, I stated that possibly the officer who they found guilty of killing Floyd, may not have gotten a fair trial, due to the fact the court system ( and everyone else) knew what would happen unless they came back with guilty verdicts across the board. Rioting, looting, fires, and the whole mess would start all over again. Boy, people came un glued, calling me stupid, a racist, and God knows what else. The posting was up for 15 minutes, before one of the ultra-super-sensitive-leads, pulled it down. Two day's later, my account was disabled for two week's. Lead's don't have the ability to disable an account, they have to take it to the main office, and I believe lead's can only pull a post. So you can see they were gunning for me. What do you want to bet, NONE of the people who were slamming me with names had their account suspended. Don't speak up about BLM either, you will get the same thing. Sites like nextdoor are part of the growing problem that sends the message that poor minorities are suffering, and to join the movement and protest and riot because you don't like the way things ( supposedly) are going. It's de-stabilizing the country. Just like the tearing down of all the statues, I believe that's EXACTLY what ISIS was doing. Nextdoor is full of little timid babies that can't handle jack.

Biased in all forms
October 23, 2023

Next Door is a great concept to share information to neighbors that is important in every aspect. Sadly, this company cuts corners on pay and allows neighbors to be in charge of other neighbors. It's just a bitter HOA with a keyword.

If you have half of a brain and know how to type, you can be a reviewer, lead or moderator on Next Door. It's a way for bitter neighbors to emerse the only bit of power they will have in their pathetic lives to oust people off just to do it. And don't even try to use facts, logic or any sort of intelligence, because these people cannot handle any sort of objectivity - it's their opinion or the highway. I cannot believe Next Door allows random people to handle their neighbors - they have made what can be a great tool and resource an online playground for uneducated bullies to run.

Nextdoor run by America-hating fascists
October 17, 2023
Updated review

The goal of this extremist and racist San Francisco based social media company seems to be to come into conservative neighborhoods and sensor conservative and Christian viewpoints while promoting hate groups like BLM and LGBTQ activists. They also censor and punish any dissenting viewpoints on elections, vaccines, race, and Covid. They are as anti-American as it gets.

Continuous issues with admin's who delete threads based on their own interpretation of the posted guidelines. FBI posted a awareness alert which I made a thread bringing up awareness within my community. The admins deleted the threads and froze the account. No independent process to dispute the admins actions.

In my case, without my knowledge or permission, they published on their site all my personal contacts with their names, phone numbers & emails. I made copies of what they published & contacted the police. I then had to hire a professional to remove it who informed me that unbeknownst to the public when you sign up with them, they have the right to expose private info.

Censorship
October 3, 2023

Every post that is flagged states 'your post *may have violated community guidelines.' Again, they claim a person *may have violated the terms of service. There are no specifics, and they tend to define words as they are for, rather than using a literal English dictionary definition. Let the boomers have this site because it sux.

If you're looking for discrimination, sexism, political bias, elitism, constant begging for money, irresponsible administration, then this is the app for you.I'm disappointed that I can't give less than 1 star. Then again they are number 1, I'll let you guess which finger I'm using to indicate that.
