Locked me out of my email on day 2. Told me they could only help me if I downloaded a program onto the computer I was using (that wasn't mine) and then refused to answer any more questions. And their "Call us" 1-888 number listed on the top of the customer service page doesn't work. I though that only happened with shady fly by night businesses. Wish I'd seen this other revues warning what a bad idea Outlook was before I opened my account. I would have saved myself a lot of grief and gone elsewhere.
Hey do NOT waste your time signing up with outlook (MSN) email. They lock you out of your account and put you through a lot (like waiting 31 days) just to retrieve it all in the name of "for your own security".
"Live auctioneers has a great website and I love using it. Proxibid is always locking me out of my own account, I have talked on the phone with representatives, but still get locked out. It seems to me that they like to play games rather than conduct business. In my opinion
It is "hard to use", and an "unpredictable" site, and I am reluctant to keep trying.
I think that my hotmail account is rubbish now. Microsoft have made a right mess of it. I am just reading other peoples reviews and they all seem to be saying the same thing-PANTS.
Used to love it, now i need to access my account and RAMDOMLY its not letting me access it, and won't send verification codes to numbers or other email addresses. I have important emails in my account which i cannot access and I'm VERY dissapointed. Its now a big pile off $#*! hotmail is, wouldn't recommend it to anyone wouldnt even leave it one star
I have had my Hotmail account for over a decade. I used to love it but now I hate it. I need to wait for the ads to load to access my emails. Every time I click on an email to read it I have to wait yet again for the next new add to load. New add for each email. 10 minutes on Hotmail and I have read 4 emails. Most my time was spent waiting for the adds since you know they are more important then the service Hotmail provides or its costumers. I used to refuse to open a gmail account but now I have one and it is super fast, no hassle, no waiting, no adds, just email! Imagine that an email service that has just email!
The new Microsoft Outlook mail is nothing but a pile of garbage. After I sign in, I have to wait for a long time until a large banner advertisement on the right appears just to access my email. The earlier Hotmail versions were very fast and simple. This one is below standard.
Hotmail is now so "secure" i cant even access my own account because they're automated system wont send verification codes to australian phone numbers. This isn't the first time ive encountered problems either the last time i used hotmail i got locked out of my own account because, get this, it wanted to send a verification code too another email account under my name. So if you want too use hotmail get a gmail account, just incase.
Remember the days when you would hop on messenger and chat it up with some pals after school? Well those days are long behind us now though if you're emailing for work you're probably doing it a long way from hotmail or really any other Microsoft product except for maybe a PC's os or a PC's hardware. Anyways my psn account was hooked up to my Hotmail account and apparently somewhat recently they added new security measures to it because now I can't get into my account due to it thinking I'm not the owner of the account. The accountmhad my old cell number soi couldnt verify some code they wanted to send to it. So I call the Microsoft hotline and get the generic Indian guy tech helper telling me I have to wait while he checks my account out. That's fine I wait an hour. He comes back to tell me its an easy fix for only $9.95. No. No. No. No. Then these memories of Microsoft reviews emerge. I remember reading ppl complaining about microsofts, seemingly active and intentional, ways of screwing their customers out of probably what little mony, mony we have. Granted I probably shouldn't have been as mad as I was but it seems as Americans we are getting screwed out of our money in more and more ways than ever before. That is only going to increase while our wages stay the same. Anyways back to our failing cronie capitolistic society/economy. DON'T BUY FROM MICROSOFT! I can only assume that they have low incentive to benefit the customer.
I received an email from one of mine and my boyfriends favorite places to eat for a free appetizer. So we decided for our anniversary we would go there to have dinner since it was the following week. Like a clutz I completely forgot my cellphone at home. When the waitress asked for the email to discount our meal, I panicked because I couldn't find my phone. Then I remember I could just log into my hotmail account. WOW WAS I WRONG. As I attempted to log into my account it said I was on an unauthorized device (my boyfriends phone) and said I would need to wait until I got a text with a code. Well I don't have my phone to get the text. That's the whole damn point! If I have MY PASSWORD AND MY EMAIL I should be able to log into any $#*!ing device I want to! So we paid for the appetizer and happy $#*!ing anniversary to us. Thanks.
It's a good quality and very fine quality best for this product. And delivery very fast. Good service.
I'm sorry, normally I like this site but seriously attempting to access the website from 3 different computers is a little much. Yikes.
I've used Hotmail from 2001 to 2008 and switched to one of the competitors because our corporate office required it. I kept using two accounts for a couple years, but decided to quit at some point. When I came back to find an email I needed I found something that resembled web-based outlook. I never used Outlook before, so it was difficult for me to find out what's where and I closed that account without a slightest wish to come back. I guess it's just me, but I didn't like the experience I had. Not using it now.
Very nice free Email server. So fast even the connection is too poor.
Hotmail is good and high quality and fast communication.
