THEY CHARGED ME FOR A "SUBSCRIPTION" I NEVER EVEN KNEW I HAD. I PURCHASED PHOTOS FROM A RACE I RAN A YEAR AGO. NEVER RECEIVED ANY MAGAZINES AND WAS CHARGED FOR A YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION WITHOUT ANY CONSENT. OUTSIDE MAGAZINE IS A SCAM. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD FOR ANY REASON.
Thought I would be getting what used to be in Outside Magazine... too much unrelated negative material.
I have a 1 year subscription got 2 issues and as soon as new ownership ownership took over my suscription was suspended and they kept the amount paid for 1 year subscrtion. ---- Be careful with the new ownership
I feel that outside online is a highly reliable source of information that is geared toward a demographic of adventurers. It is very well illustrated with outstanding photos, and the writing is professional, interesting and entertaining. I found the site easy to navigate, and I also enjoyed its search feature. This is a high-quality website filled with high-quality material. I give it 5 well-deserved stars.
I used to have a subscription to this magazine, but now mostly read their articles and stories online. Absolutely, awesome stuff here. Rock climbers, ultra runners, rapids kayakers, so interesting and inspiring.
