Great product for the price that I paid. Will definitely be buying from them again in the future as needed!
I signed up with the basic plan, which is free for the first 30 days and then $8.00 per month and cancel anytime. I used it once and cancelled within the first 30 days, but still got charged $8.00. A month later was charged $155.00. Thank God that my credit card company saw this as a fraud and declined the charge right away!
They say it's free, but it's not, you won't be able to download the document you already created without your credit card data
Yulia hi! Sorry if any confusion caused! CC data is indeed used in the course of registration, however, there are no charges during the free trial period, we assure you. In other words, you can register an account, do the job you need (document downloads included) and cancel afterwards. Hope this helps!
En la prueba gratuita se me cobró en dolares y el valor estaba en pesos no en dolares. Este motivo no me seduce para la suscripción.
DONT USE IT IF YOU WANT SOMETHING ACTUALLY FREE. YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT ON THEIR SITE BUT AS SOON AS YOU GO TO GET THE DOCUMENT THEY PUT UP A PAYWALL. I THINK THIS IS BAD BUSINESS AS THEY PROBABLY WANT YOU TO HAVE DONE ALL THIS WORK SO YOU WILL GIVE UP AND BUY THE SERVICES. BAD PRACTICES.
Stephane hi! We are very sorry for any confusion caused!
First of, we never actually claimed pdfFiller is an entirely free service. PdfFiller is currently offering a 30-day free trial period. If you need PDF editing for several documents only, that would totally do the job. Hundreds of people are signing up for a free trial every day and cancelling later, that would be absolutely fine with us. Having a paid plan is not a must at all.
Secondly, please note the difference between registration and a paid subscription. When you are the first-timer, our system would offer you to register a personal account. Again, that does not necessarily mean having a paid plan. Free trial always goes first.
Hope this helps!
If you have any further questions/ doubts, please email support@pdffiller.com, same-day reply guaranteed!
13 months after checking their program, I get a charge for somethinf I didn't agree to. Reached out to customer service to get some understand and I basically got a "sorry you got charged for something you didn't use, but we can't do anything about it" Highly disappointed. Don't recommend.
Al hi! The money-back guarantee period is indeed 180 days. We are very sorry you've noticed the charge after more than a year. Unfortunately, I would have to confirm that Support answer was correct.
It didnt save my 2 hour report. It is so imcreadly bad with lag and the letters randomly shrinking so don't fall for it
We are very sorry to read this!
Have you tried our Support?
Please note that you can directly in pdfFiller (there is a small chat window there) or here on the site:
https://www.pdffiller.com/en/support.htm
Our Support is working 365/24/7, so we can investigate in real time. Just drop us a line!
Hoping to see this settled!
The website works ok, but I have cancelled my subscription and yet I got charged anyway, which is why I will only give one star. Not cool to get charged when I clearly cancelled my subscription before.
Maria hi! Did you get your refund by now? Do you need our help arranging that? Let us know, thank you.
And sorry for any confusion caused!
We never signed up for anything. These people will take your info charge you and you won't even know it. Absolute scumbags.
Won hi! We are very sorry for the frustration caused!
There is no way we could possibly have your credit card details unless you have willingly provided that during the account registration.
If you did not recall that and/or you think someone has used your card without you knowing that -- please chat with our Billing Support over here:
https://www.pdffiller.com/en/billing?sl=support
We will investigate and issue a refund for you.
In advance, many thanks for your cooperation in settling this!
1 star because -5 is not an option. Spent a fair amount of time researching data needed for a military retirement form; then was held hostage for a mandatory monthly enrollment before allowing to save work!
There are P L E N T Y of other pdf form fill software options... KEEP LOOKING before using this one.
We are very sorry for the confusion caused!
Please note the difference between having a subscription and having a paid plan in pdfFiller.
Once you register with pdfFiller, our 30-day free trial period starts automatically, no charges applied whatsoever.
If you need PDF editing for your military retirement only -- our free trial will totally do the job! No mandatory payments at all.
Hope this helps!
If you have any additional questions regarding this case, feel free to email us at support@pdffiller.com. We can surely renew your free trial so that you can give pdfFiller a solid test drive.
I cancelled this service same day I canceled but they charged my bank $96. Stay away from this company
Deborah hi! If you were canceling on the renewal day, due to time zone difference the charge may have indeed come through first, prior you cancelled. Have you tried our Billing Support? If not yet, please chat here: https://www.pdffiller.com/en/billing?sl=support This is a simple case, and you are surely eligible for a refund. Let me know if you need any further help with this!

Sandy hi! We are very sorry for any confusion caused!
Honestly speaking, we would really appreciate more words on your experience. PdfFiller is a PDF editor and an online web form builder, there is nothing scammy about any of it, we assure you.
If you have any questions/doubts regarding our services, feel free to drop a line to our 24/7 Support here: https://www.pdffiller.com/en/support.htm
This is fraud. Million time fraud and misleading website, firstly, they tell you to write your email, only then you wil be able to tranfer your word file to pdf, then they tel you you, have sign for a year or monthly basic, they should have told us that in order to transfer file, you need to give your email and sign up for a year or month. Toal scam, avoid,
Ali hi! We are sorry for any confusion caused!
Account registration is indeed required in pdfFiller. Having a paid plan is not a must though.
Please note that prior to any of our paid plans there is also a 30-day free trial period.
If you need PDF editing and eSigning for a bunch of documents only, not on a regular basis -- our free trial would totally do the job, no charges applied whatsoever.
Hope this helps!
They are totally misleading people in a dirty way. Don't expect to keep your work that you created unless youre ready to fork over $20 and a subscription. They don't tell you it cost until after you're done creating your important document. Don't fall for it. It was honest I might've spent a couple dollars but you guys can keep the document i will convert elsewhere just because your dishonest. You wont get my money!
Dominique hi!
We are very sorry for any confusion caused, we surely did not mean that at all!
Let's start from the end - file conversion: we actually have a totally free tool for that, here - https://altopdf.com/, this is pet project of our developers.
Secondly, our pricing is absolutely transparent and it is publicly available information. You can find our pricing options directly on our site here: https://www.pdffiller.com/en/services.htm
There is indeed a difference between monthly payments and the annual commitment. Paying once a year would be cheaper in the long term, of course (but if you need PDF editing for a month or two, you can surely go with a monthly plan, no problem).
Finally, please note the free trial of 30 days. It goes prior to any of our paid plans. You would need to register a personal account for that BUT there are NO charges in the first 30 days, we assure you.
Hope this helps!
The website claims to offer a free trial, yet it won't let you save or send a single document. Worst of all, you won't learn this until you have finished editing your document, then it lets you know you must susbcribe to be able to download it. This kind of bait and hook practices are absolutely disgusting, and the website should be ashamed of putting "free trial" ads.
Martha hi! We are very sorry if any confusion caused!
We DO have a free trial period. It lasts full 30 days, no pre-charges, no frozen amounts, nothing of that kind.
All you need to do is register a personal account.
Please note that difference between having an account and having a paid plan.
Once you register an account as first-timer, you will be automatically redirected to our free trial (as I said, full 30 days, one month).
The paid plan is activated on the second month only.
If you stop using pdfFiller during the free trial, cancel and unsubscribe -- there won't be any charges whatsoever.
Hope this helps!
I get the invoice on the same day that my subscription is renewed. I followed all the instructions to cancel, but there is no link to CANCEL the subscription.
This is really bogus.
Walter hi! We would love to help but honestly, a bit hard to comment anything specifically cause there are not much details in your feedback. A screenshot would be really helpful!
Please chat with our Billing Support over here: https://www.pdffiller.com/en/support.htm
One of our agents will make sure your subscription is fully canceled, and your account and all data are deleted.
Please make sure you've saved all your edited work prior to that cause the account will be deleted permanently.
Many thanks in advance for your cooperation in settling this!
I have never had a 'supposedly' reputable site hold you hostage once you did a document. You can't print unless you pay them. DO NOT use this product.
Virginia hi! We are very sorry to read about this confusion. I would like to clarify two issues here:
1) We are a reputable site. Have been on the e-market since 2008. Zero data breach cases, hacks or any other security-related issues ever.
2) You can print during the free trial period already. Having a paid plan is not a must. If you need PDF editing and eSigning for several documents or several days only, the free trial would totally do the job.
Hope this helps!
They advertise "free PDF to CSV conversion then demand a $20 monthly fee in order to receive the document. We call that illegal bait and switch scams and false advertising.
Christopher hi!
We are very sorry for any confusion caused! Please note the availability of a free trial period which is 30 days on the desktop version of pdfFiller. Paid plan is not a must, unless you need this app on a daily basis, of course.
If you have any further questions, feel free to chat with our 24/7 Support over here: https://www.pdffiller.com/en/support.htm
Data harvesters who sell your data from the pdfs! DO NOT TRUST these Mongolian thieves with your documents!
Hi there! First of all, we are a Boston-based American company, and we've been based in Boston since 2008, the year of our foundation:)
Secondly, if you have an account with pdfFiller, your data is stored in a cloud-based account, and none of our employees have access to that data.

You do have to give your credit card to use their service. And then you get a free trial. I forgot to cancel it and surprised to find a $96 charge - my fault. Online it appears that, of course, I could cancel, but it would be effective one year from my initial billing! I went through the online cancellation, which at that point, they offered me to stay at a rate of approx. $24. It actually seemed like a good price, but the wording was a little strange. I wasn't sure if they meant they would reverse the $96 charge, then charge me $24. Or did they mean $24 at the renewal next year. Anyway, I continued with the cancellation and then a customer service pop-up came on. I explained I forgot to cancel and I would like a refund with a pro-rated cancellation. They wrote back to me instantly and said they would refund my money! I received a credit on my Visa a short while later. I couldn't believe the customer service and would 100% recommend them.
Answer: NO! Any company that would lure veterans to use their service, then try to charge them to print or save their documents after filling them out iss a RIPOFF!
Answer: Tharun hi! Many thanks for your interest and question! No, our 30-day free trial period is entirely free, no hidden fees, no fine print. The first charge goes on the first day of the second month (and you can surely cancel prior to that, again, no charges). Hope this helps!
Answer: Many thanks for your question! There are two answers here, actually. First of all, nobody in pdfFiller Team has access to the documents you store inside your account. Our Support and Statistics can see the number of uploads and sendings, but NOT the contents of your documents. That's confidential information. Regarding your payments details: If you are paying for our services by a credit card, we see: ***********1234. That is, only the last four digits of your card, the date of transaction and the amount paid. If you are paying via PayPal, we obviously see the email linked to your PayPal account. Hope this helps!
Answer: Dear Susan, many thanks for your question! And yes, you can do that. Two things are important here. First, you need to register a password-protected account to make sure all your sensitive data is stored securely in our private cloud. Secondly - please, note that PDFfiller does not have any sort of official agreement with medicare, thus, your form cannot be automatically delivered to the needed office. In other words, you can surely fill the form with us, edit it later, print, save, email etc. But keep in mind that you are responsible for document delivery, this is NOT automated. Hope this helps!
Answer: Dear Bibek, many thanks for your question. And no, you will not, free trial is free :) But please, mind the deadline. Charging is automatic straight after these 30 days are over.
pdfFiller is a cloud-based platform with a comprehensive digital toolkit that makes handling PDFs easy. Edit, sign, store, manage, and collaborate on documents all in one place — no downloads, switching apps, or paying for multiple subscriptions needed. All your documents are safely stored in the cloud, so you can access them anytime, anywhere, without worrying about losing your data.
Maria hi! Many thanks for reaching out!
If you were charged (twice), that means that the cancelation of your free trial did not go through, sorry.
$8 is our monthly plan, $155 is our annual plan (+ taxes). It appears that you somehow switched from monthly to annually (we can't do this transfer on our side, unless a customer requests this specifically).
Anyways, let' make sure your subscription is fully canceled and there are no future charging attempts on your card. Please email support@pdffiller.com from the email which you've used as login in pdfFiller. We'll handle this case ASAP.
Many thanks in advance!
