Christmas present very excited, three days on Frustrated and disappointed. Plus out of pocket. THE APP DOES NOT OPEN SAMSUNG A12.

Company said can't alter shipment after you order. Within minutes of order. Then they hide. Avoid!

This is the WORST online commerce experience I've ever had. Their employees lie to get you to buy more.
I wanted to cancel an order and the employee said he had cancelled the order. The next day he sent me an email and told me they didn't cancel it after all and I could just return the product. Right. This is the only company I've dealt that doesn't pay return postage. So the customer has to pay the postage to LITHUANIA, which costs much far more than the value of the product. Buy your translator from an honest company!

Purchased a brand new unit.
Only to find its not compatible with Samsung A42 5G.
Also the polyglu app cannot be downloaded.
Its designed for older versions of Android.

Worth noting that the device is basically a speaker for what your phone does.
You need to use both together.

Returned for a refund.

I had great hopes for Poliglu to help me with my Mandarin (mainland China) but regret that, despite my due diligence with Poliglu before buying, whilst the translation from English to Mandarin was OK, the translation back was very poor…….to the point of being unusable! The volume was also inadequate for social spaces, as well as being relatively slow to translate. It may be more useful in Europe, but I ended up using an online tool (Deepl) in China as this was so much better!

When I tried to get the app, which is necessary, I got a message that said the app would NOT work with my newer version of android.

They're response was to says they're working on it and then issue a refund.

Customer service is good. Product, unusable.

I'm not happy with my purchase. I was excited when it finally arrived and could not wait to get it set up. When I went to download the app, I received an error message stating that the app was not available for my phone as it only supports older versions of android. Seriously?

So now I have a $90 block that I can't do anything with.
Support has-been useless to say the least.
Extremely disappointed.

This is a glorified Bluetooth speaker, it does not work independently and requires internet and your phone.
I ordered one and was charged for and sent four. Save your money and use Google Translate for free.

Very poor sound and you have to use your iphone. Yes you can return the unit against a 25% fee but the big catch is that you need to return it to Estonia and pay for the shipping which is over $ 100
They do NOT mention that of course on purpose! It is a rip off
I complained several times that the return location should be in the US but they don't care!

This company is a scam. Must have an Apple phone to use, should be on the purchase page. They are in a foreign country. I asked for a return 18 days after I received and after waiting for them to respond why they didn't tell me that I needed an apple phone. Then they played this dance with Paypal saying they were waiting on them, and then told Trust Pilot that I was a fraud and I had to send Trust Pilot all the MULTIPLE correspondences showing I wasn't. Do not buy from them. I never did get my money back unless I shipped it back to them, and thats where they get you. The cost to a foreign country.

As expected in a translator, Poliglu meets the standard quality. It can translate accurately. Its portability makes it easier during travels. Small and handy but works really great. Cannot travel abroad without it, it's very useful

It has made communicating simple and has reduced my stress because I have been constantly encountering challenges in communicating with languages I am not familiar of during my travels. Yep, I've tried other devices and services (google) and this is the easiest to use with the best translation I've experienced. Small and light so it's easy to pack in a bag and use when needed. Poliglu is well worth the price.

A little piece of device that I never thought could help me in so many ways while I was out in my travels! This saved me a couple of times in terms of language barrier issues and the ending was great because I was able to gain more friends. This amazed them and ME. Good job, Poliglu!

Poliglu translator is works accurately as advertised. It's also is a tool to assist in learning to write or speak a different language. I got this for work purposes but my children borrow this for school purposes too so it's a good buy for me and my family.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! First of all, in order for it to work, you must have your smartphone out in your other hand with the Poliglu app open and running. If you're going to do this, you may as well just use Google Translate.
And if you want your money back, forget about it. You'll be asked to ship the device, at your own cost, back to China which costs almost as much as the device. So they offer to do a partial refund plus a power adapter gift, but if you accept, they never give it to you. In general, customer service will respond to concerns with form letters that they will be in touch or that they will do something, but they never do. These people are selling a useless product and will never refund your money. DON'T BUY!

I'm glad I bought this device. Poliglu served its purpose very well. I use it to communicate with Spanish speaking clients, it works perfectly. Takes a little time to get used to. Clients were very happy and I was able to understand their needs. Thank you.

This translator is horrible do not recommend! Does not hear the words in English properly so can't translate

It has regularly helped me communicate with my tenants for my two-bedroom apartment. Quite helpful little translator that builds better relationship with people from all parts of the world. I strongly recommend this.
