Worthless phones

This is my 3rd phone. Sorry to say but these phones are garbage. I recieved this in May an it's a total waste. They charge $ 70.00 for this phone it's such a RIP the phone constantly shuts off slow as hell cant get it to load anything when it is on and if you're on a call it disconnects you and is also very muffled. Every phone I've had has been the same. They said, this would be a great phone it's called the "Chili Pepper" trust me it sucks. I keep calling to cancel my service but you cant get any English speaking people so theres no resolve to this issue. They are just ripping off the government. So disappointing!

If it were possible to give this business negative 5 Stars that would still be too good. Nobody speaks English if you ever actually get to speak to a supposed customer service representative. Not one single representative is able to do anyting but transfer you to another person in the same Department. This goes on for hours, and nothing can be accomplished. Eventually you just hang up out of complete aggravation and exhaustion. I called qlink no less than 8 times over a 4 month time span to change my phone number, spent hours on hold, transferred at least 3 times per call, disconnected multiple times and never spoke to 1 rep who could change my number. My last attempt was 3 days ago and I told the third representative that I had been transferred to that if he had to transfer me again to just disconnect my service because I am done. He then did transfer me so I hung up and lo and behold my phone has been disconnected. That is the only thing that qlink has ever done in a timely manner. Save yourself a lot of time and headache and aggravation and just avoid this company completely.

Nothing is free

I received my SIM AFTER 2 & 1/2 WEEKS OF WAITING, THEY STATED UNLIMITED FOR THE FIRST 30 DAYS, HOWEVER AFTER USING 2 GIGS OF DATA WITHIN 3 DAYS, MY DATA STOPPED AND TRIED TO GET CUSTOMER SERVICE TO TAKE CARE OF IT AND GOT THE RUN AROUND FOR DAYS WITH NO DATA. THE MOST HORRIBLE THING IS I PORTED MY BUSINESS T-MOBILE ## OVER TO THIS PHONE, BIG MISTAKE.

I had qlink for several years but the last 6 months has been terrible! My phone (after I went and upgraded because my phone was not getting internet) worked for about three months and have not been able to get internet service since. Every time I tried to update ANYTHING it always said "checking info" and would not go any further, in fact I would have to restart my phone to get out of that screen. FORGET calling customer service because you have to wait on the phone for over 20 minutes at a time and then if your are LUCKY enough to get a live person they are very hard to understand (no disrespect but the accents were so heavy you could not understand them). And even worse is the website. I tried for weeks to get on the website but every time I tried to sign in it took me right back to the sign in page. I NEVER get any emails from them letting me know what is going on or keeping me updated on ANYTHING. I finally threw in the towel and changed companies.

I ordered a phone from q link back in the ending weeks of May. Its the middle of July now and they don't seem to care. I paid for a top tier phone too because the free phone they offer is useless so now I'm out of pocket 300 dollars. Been calling them everyday and I will continue to call them till I get my refund. Frustrating I don't see how the government gives these morons the contracts for these phones i wouldn't trust these people with a mop job

What happened?
July 4, 2020

Suddenly this weekend I am without phone service! "My Mobile Account has been closed"... why? And getting through to a live person is impossible. I was under the impression that Q Link had 24/7 tech support... no way. I am going back to Verizon on Monday. I am getting exactly what I paid for by signing up with Q Link... nothing!

Every month I've had issues with the data, pages not loading, no access to email, and everytime connected to tech support and on hold for over 30 minutes to make me do elementary things that I had already done. Every time they have to reset something at their end to fix the issue and it takes up to three days. My 4G phone is absolutely useless on their broken network most of the time. Look at the records tech support and reset whatever you reset last month and admit your network is broken. With all that they offer me to buy more data. With for their unreliable network, don't expect ANYONE to buy anything from you including more data.

Sad service.

I've don't the buoy plan and my sims card has my phone saying no service. I've been on hold trying to contact technical support and I've done all the things they asked me to do to try and get the service up and running. All my phone says is waiting for activation. They make it seem like they are the perfect company but I guess you get crappy service when it's free. I wish I could take it back.

I ordered a replacement phone, it never arrived, i called back to make a claim they tried to sell me another phone, they wouldn't call ups to make a claim, so I am literally stuck without a phone and was charged for it, qlink is a complete SCAM they will take your money and not help you in any way at all to recover it!

Infuriating

I called the number seven times to try and get help for my dad with his phone. It is absolutely infuriating that it is 100% impossible to link to a live customer service agent. This is one of the worst companies out there for customer service! And yes of course we filled out the online form to get help but we don't expect to hear back from them for 3 to 5 days, which is too late. Horrible horrible horrible customer service!

This is absolutely the worst phone I have ever had! The apps are constantly freezing and the sound quality on calls is horrible. This is the second phone I've had of this brand from qlink. The first one I had only worked for 2 weeks before it started overheating and eventually after a few weeks would not charge anymore. My second phone is lasting a little longer but I am hardly able to use it because all of the apps are giving me error messages that they are not responding. This phone is a waste of money.

I ordered a phone that was to be delivered on April 22nd. On April 20th the tracker said pending acceptance at post office. With all the covid stuff going on I waited 2 weeks no phone. Tried calling qlink tried emailing got no help. I called post office they said they never received it. Called qlink back they told me 2 weeks later. They tell me I will have to go to post office and find my phone or buy a new one. They will not refund my money. I ask for a supervisor they tried telling me the same thing. It was obvious from tracker that it never was sent to my home so why should I be responsible for it. It is thier job to get my purchase to me. When I said what is this a scam and you guys took my money and never sent me a phone? All of a sudden then she offered to refund my money 1 HOUR LATER. We will see if they actually refund my money. They said it is thier policy not to send another phone or refund your money.

The phone is terrible. This is the second one I've had and I have not installed anything and it says my memory is gone.it crashes frequently. I only use it as a phone now and don't even try to access anything else. Even the messages take a long time to get to their destination.

These guys are a joke. Can't call. Chat folks have no clue. They refused to honor my request to cancel. They have had all my info for a month. All I need is a sim kit. What a bunch of crooks. Bet they are billing the government with no prob!

I used the lifeline program for the first year and had no complaints until I upgraded (through qlink) to a better phone. They turned off my existing phone immediately and activated the new one before they shipped it to me. Their support said they can not help because this is just the way they do it. I was without a phone for over a week. After I had the new phone it worked for about a week then they removed my minutes because their billing system had a glitch. They added back the minutes, then the next day they were gone again. They said I had to re-sign up for the service, which I had just done 2 months prior. The account was active again but the phone still redirected my calls to support. 2 calls to support, and one was a supervisor. They both told me I had to wait "several days" "a few days" and "sometime" before my phone would work. Both support people (including supervisor) hung up on me. I used their online chat and they both disconnected from chat because they could not get my phone working either.

Absolute trash! Had to call about 20 times (waited about 1 hour each) to finally get SOMEONE who only turned us over to a "higher technical consultant" because NONE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO DO A SIMPLE TASK! Eventually had to wait 2 months for them to tell us that they couldn't do it! Called again and a lady gave us exactly what we needed in about 30 seconds! They told us that they messed everything up so badly, that we would have to RE-APPLY, get a NEW NUMBER, and wait nearly FOREVER for the service to be on our phone and for everything to straighten out again! WORDS CAN NOT DESCRIBE HOW TRASHY AND USELESS THIS WHOLE PROGRAM IS (especially customer service)! Would NEVER EVER use again or recommend to ANYONE! Don't waste your time!

For months I have called and qlink still will not provide me with better service. I called other phones, but still nothing but terrible service problems. They ask you to call from another phone to better serve you, but that was after you waited on hold for 40+ mins. Then they tell you since you don't have another phone we can't help you and call us back when you have another phone. I ask them to send another phone, so I can call form and they laugh and so not and repeated the information before.
I had order a new phone delivered but the mail person did not put it in my mail box, because they felt that the person didn't live there since they haven't seen me previously or the name. Qlink refuse to send the cellphone after they told me that have documented the phone was returned, but was told I have to purchase another one.
Don't waste your time, but see for yourself.
Another thing is this Company is supported by Tax payer's money and the support of the government.
