We pulled our kids from Public school due to recent events and wanted to start homeschooling and were totally lost.
We registered for homeschool pro following the advice of a local group and the program has been working great for us.
The homeschool advisor helped us with getting started and all the forms and other guidance and the curriculum is great they have so many great classes that are not found in regular school so feeling very confident about my kids future
The classes are decent for the price paid. I found the info better organized if I assign it through Google Classroom (eg Grade 8 History)
We are happy we decided to go with Homeschool Pro. I have a son in Middle School and daughter in High School they both like the classes. I like it that the classes are pre-recorded and they can take them at their own pace and schedule. They can also go back and watch a class again if they do not understand a certain topic. There are also quizzes to test how they are doing. There's so much to learn!
We used Homeschool Pro as our online homeschool curriculum. I was surprised by the large selection of classes and electives. My children have learned so much since we joined the program.
Using the Homeschool Pro Program. I love that there are so many classers to choose from and that it is so flexible. They also helped me understand all the forms I needed to start with hoemschooling in my state since it was my first time and I was so clueless.
I like it, it helps me grow to be a better writer.
The only problem is that it shows stuff that I can't do because I don't have a premium account.
Thanks, Grammarly.
I'm a mom to two kids (ages 8 and 11) and we've been with RLS for two years now and are very happy. When the Pandemic started last year, in person school was cancelled and it took my school several weeks to launch with virtual learning. Luckily I knew to enroll to the Remote Learning School in time so my kids did not lose out on their studies. In fact, when virtual school begun from their school, they were ahead of the rest of the class! The RLS curriculum is far more superior than other schools.
When you register, your kids get their student ID Card and also their own school email address assigned to them. Theire achievements are recorded in their JuniorFolio which in no doubt will help them in the future when they apply to colleges. I know its early to think about college for them but every little advantage help! And the RLS platform is very flexible and lets them study based on their own schedule, there is no pressure because it teaches in a fun waym so they are actually motivated to learn. In addition to core classes like math and ELA they can also learn musical instruments, 2nd languages, and a lot more.
Overall am very happy with this school and I think every parent who cares about the future of their kids should enroll. Also with the Omicron and who knows what other variants its always good to have a backup in case there is a disruption to in person learning again. Kids can't afford to keep falling behind. I also bought a gift membership for some of my relatives who have kids I know they will appreciate it.
Both my kids are in the Remote Learning dot School and are very happy. So was delighted when I learned that RLS also sells gift memberships. I bought a lifetime gift certificate for my brother's family as a Christmas Gift, they will be so happy can't wait to give it to them
Signed up here because I could not find another program that offers student IDs and email accounts for all the kids in the family. Very affordable and the membership includes the whole family so you don't have to pay separately for each kid. I have 2 kids so appreciated not having to pay double! Have also purchased a gift membership for my nephews for Christmas can't wait to give it to them!
I signed up my son to RLS after hearing that other parents in my son's class had done the same and with good results. I wasn't going to let my son fall behind the rest of the kids! And am happy I did. He has improved in all classes so much and his grades went up from C average to A- average. Program keeps them so motivated to learn to their full potential.
My son and daughter are enrolled to RLS so that they can be ready for the future. All parents know that what our kids get from public school is not enough. With the Remote Learning School boosting my kids education they are always ahead of the curve. And the curricuulm there is flexible and can be done at their own schedule so there is no pressure - on the contrary, they are very motivated on their own to learn new materials.
Enrollment was quick and painless and my son was quickly set up with his student ID (you get a student id card from this school) and student email address. He also had written an article to the school magazine and his article was featured! He was so excited to see the article he wrote published and get his junior reporter card.
Last year I purchased a membership as a gift for my brother's family. They have 3 kids. Since then, they always thank me and tell me it was the best present they've ever gotten and that their kids are so much confident in their academic skills and abilities now.
I secured an RLS membership for two reasons: First, to enchance the education of my son and two daughters, I feel like what they learn in school is not just sufficient nowadays. Second, so that they never suffer a learning loss like what happened during the pandmic. WIth the membership I can have some peace of mind that they will always have good education accessible to them.
RLS is the best platform if you are looking for your kid's success. From the start my kid got equipped with his student id and email acount and was ready to start the classes. He found many classes he liked and his grades in his regular school started improving alot and also his confidence.
My kids are proud to be RLS members and boast about their achievements and as a result they are a lot more confident! They proudly show their student ID card everywhere they go.
I enrolled both my kids who have their individual strengths and weaknesses and we use program as add-on to local school. The advisor tailored the learning portal for each kid so it matches them perfectly. Because of this they are now ahead of their class mates in their local school and other parents talked to me and I referred them here since all kids deserve a good education
The program teaches the kids to think independently and makes kids feel comfortable and eager to learn. My kids are now ahead of their grade, have become more independent, disciplined, and feel confident in their studies.
Both my son and daughter love their Student ID cards they flash it every time trying to get student discounts (and often they do get those!) and they also love their email account they got from the school.
Thank you for the review. We pride ourselves on being one of the few online programs that issues a student id card and a school email account to every student. One of the advantages of those is that you can use them for student discounts, parents I have spoken with reported saving hundreds of dollars a year by taking advantage of the many discounts available to students, both online and locally.

Answer: Yes, the program is entirely flexible, and the curriculum can be modified to meet the needs of individual students. The extent to which a curriculum is modified depends on the goals of the student's Individual Education Plan. For example, a student can take a class above his grade level for a topic he is particularly strong at, and could also take a class below grade level if they are struggling, and they can be put on-track to on-grade.
Answer: When a student deletes an email from his email account, it first goes to the trash folder, so I would check there, especially if it was deleted recently. After some time has passed, through, the email is purged and can no longer be restored, unfortunately. If you have parental monitors set up you can check your linked parent email account to see if there is a copy of the email there. Email our technical support department for more assistance.
Answer: RLS offers a diverse curriculum, including a lot of focus on STEM. A strong focus on STEM education is a critical ingredient for building a student's problem-solving skills and making them lifelong learners. RLS prepares students to change, adapt, and problem solve, which will ready them to face a future whose opportunities are not yet clear. STEM education is also vital due to a growing demand for workers with STEM expertise. But not only does RLS focus on STEM, we are also strong on Arts and Humanities, teaching the students empathy, ethics and citizenship.
Answer: RLS's Annual Virtual Science Fair will start accepting submissions end of October, with the deadline just before Thanksgiving. Good luck!
Answer: As an independent private school, RLS is not required to follow the Common Core Standards. RLS goes beyond common core to offer a lot more. Every year, we review the RLS curriculum—every book, every assignment, every process—and modify it as needed. Our curriculum will continue to be uncommonly rigorous, inspiring, and transformative, with or without Common Core. And while our standards are rigorous, they are not rigid. We also retain the leeway to engage all different types of learners at RLS, while our curriculum so thoroughly prepares our students for all forms of standardized testing. The Common Core is focused on helping students achieve certain standards; RLS curriculum is focused on preparing students to achieve even higher standards.
Answer: Each student email account includes 100 MB of storage.
Answer: Its on the student ID card or you can email the enrollment dept to ask
Answer: Yes students get a school email address My son did and he uses it a lot Comes with parental monitors too

Thank you for the review, and I am glad to hear your children are ahead of their grade! Our program helps kids become independent learners. Children who are more independent learners tend to have more self-confidence and have a greater sense that they are in control of their learning.
