Good for the price

Bought roller shade, black out.
Its okay for a budget blind. The roller mechanism is not that smooth. Feels cheap in operation compared. The pattern and material feels a little cheap.

An easy DIY solution, but not high end feeling in material or operations

Their customer service is not knowledgeable. They gave me wrong information on a recorded line. They know the information was wrong and they still will not replace the blinds. This is a very unethical act. And I would stay far far way from this company.

Beautiful quality!

Blinds arrived in perfect condition and as exactly as ordered! Shipping takes awhile—I think it was about 4 weeks or so. Worth the sit though for this price! Measurements were spot on! The coastal stripe is beautiful quality-looks like a linen shade! Very pleased with product and when I need another one—I have zero hesitation.

Noisy, Cheap Blinds

I wanted to love these blinds but don't. The pull handle and the bottom plastic end piece feels super cheap. The blinds are very noisy when you raise and lower them. If my husband had not already installed all three of them I would have returned them. So disappointed especially considering how expensive they are.

We had moved into a new residence(home) in June of 2025 and wanted to replace the blinds that the previous owner had used. Good quality blinds but worn out from use and indoor environment from previous owners.
We had trouble setting up and account and ordering new blinds because "selectblinds" assumed that we were the previous owners trying to get discounts by setting up a new account for the same residence. It was not a very friendly situation. However, It was eventually resolved, but not without a hassle.

No Door mounts

Spoke to rep and she is adamant that if door mounts didn't come with the blind, there is no such thing available. If you want a blind that swings against your door each time it opens and closes, this is the perfect product. Ive only had the blind a month and it does the job and purchasing was very easy.

Completely incompetent

Sent us malfunctioning blind... and shorted us three of the four remotes. Finally... after weeks of battling with them, they resent a new blind... wait for it... that is malfunctioning the same way. I have had it with them and am just going to keep the blind that works backwards.

Did receive one remote with that blind but have never received the remaining two remotes that they promised. Horrible customer service and inferior products. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else.

I like the Blinds my only complaint is the plastic clips that are used for opening and closing the blinds. These clips did not fit and continue to fall off of the bottom. This makes it more difficult to push the Blinds up and down.

My Vertical Blinds Order

A few months ago, everything seemed fine with my vertical blinds order until I received them. I placed an order for the blinds to open from the middle. So, when open there would be part of the blinds on each side of the window.
They were made with 7 panels on one side and 6 on the other side. Which means when closed they do not line up in the middle of the window. These blinds were not inexpensive. I never said anything about it because I saw a review that said they don't answer complaints. I am very disappointed in this order!

This is the 3rd home that I was try to order thru SelectBlinds. I ordered a single shade that arrived damaged because it was packaged so poorly for shipping. The website was broken, so I had to request warranty service over the phone with reps whom I could barely understand. I requested expedited shipping on the replacement so it would arrive before I left for a trip. They wanted to charge me for it! I requested a refund at that point, but they decided to cover the express shipping. New shade arrived, but end cap had fallen off enroute and my husband apparently had the shade unroll a bit unbeknownst to him. We hung it, but the chain connector would not fit through the gear. There are no videos, written materials etc on the company website to tell us how to take the shade down or how to fix the issue. Again, the ESL service reps couldn't understand my issue. And would only accept a video not photos to diagnose the issue. They kept disconnecting me as I tried to take a shorter video as 12 secs wouldn't upload! We finally found a video on a competitor's site that told us exactly what to do. But what really put me over the edge was an email response to a message I sent on 10/7. It arrived 10/23 because 'they've been busy'. Buyer beware! They will never get another order from me!

I hate customs!

The blinds we ordered are still "stretching"! A few seem to be a little short or at least they don't stay down all of the way. We are hoping that over a short period of time, they will cover the whole window. Or blinds came in 3 separate shipments. The first two arrived without too much of a delay. The third shipment was forever in a warehouse in California. The updates kept saying it had cleared customs and went to a warehouse for delivery and the next day, it was back in customs again. It took almost a week for the blinds to actually ship.
