Terrible Customer Service

I wanted to exchange the XL jersey for a Large jersey. I am told they don't take returns after 30 days! I still want a jersey and am willing to pay but I want the right size. No supervisor or manager was available, yeah right! Should have looked at this site first. DON'T buy from this site.

I should've read these reviews before I ordered. 100% agree with everything everyone here has said. You WON'T get it on time. You WON'T get help when you call. Their customer service department does NOT care. You WON'T be allowed to cancel the order once they take your money.

I ordered two jerseys in November 2015. One arrived but the other was delayed for some unknown reason. I finally received a reply to one of my many emails stating that I should receive my late jersey by Dec 15. What a crock! I have received no replies to my numerous emails and have been on hold for 49 minutes. No one can tell me where the jersey is. Apparently once the item leaves the NHL.com facility they have no way to track the item or contact the courier to ensure they meet the customer satisfaction guidelines. WOW, once they get your money they do not give a $#*!. When I asked for a refund, the rep stated it could take up to 10 business days, I'm not confident I'll see the refund in that time! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE, IT IS A JOKE! Unfortunately I have to give them one star because no starts is not an option.

If I could give them NO STARS I would... You're better off going to a mall and buying what you need. I paid for 3 day delivery... I"m getting my purchase 8 days later... WTF. I'm pissed the hell off! This was supposed to arrive before me and my boss were off for the Christmas week. What company does business like this? What the $#*! is so hard about putting a shipping label on a box ON TIME!

This is a Christmas Gift for my father and i paid for the 2nd cheapest shipping and it was suppose to come and they also never sent me an email on whether it was shipped yet. I waited 4 days and then checked on the order status and it still wouldn't show me anything. I had to call and give the order number to get the tracking. I have to go to the my history to check on the tracking otherwise i would have to type the long number in every time. And also it has not come yet and it is two days passed what i paid extra for. I wonder if they will even send an email when it is delivered.

Ordered $200.00 worth of merchandise December 14,2015. Paid for the 3 day shipping. They sent my items out on the 15th. As I tracked my order on the 16th it said I would receive my items on Saturday Dec 19 late afternoon/evening. That is 5 days not the 3 days I paid for. Since I am leaving town on the morning of the 19th I will not be able to give the gifts that I purchased. Called customer service, was on hold for 16 min, they told me they couldn't do anything for me. I request a refund on the extra shipping I had paid. She said she would do that for me. So frustrated. I will not order from them again. I have had better luck on eBay.

Order a jersey for the 'black friday sale', which really wasn't a sale since it's still the same price a month later. Anyway, waited the 12 business days to find out my order was 'lost', but by now it won't arrive by christmas so I have to find one in person. The reps were helpful and friendly, but could offer me no reason to test last minute delivery before christmas; as well as no guarantee my package would arrive this time.

Overall, there is just no point to ordering a jersey from shop.nhl.com. Just go to your local sports store. It will be faster, cheaper and you can be sure it's what you want.
I do not intend to order something from them ever again.

I ordered a jersey on Nov 11th with 3 business day shipping, today is Nov 27th and I still haven't received the order. Ive contacted Shop. NHL numerous times as the jersey is for my son's birthday only to receive instructions on how to check the status online.
If you're looking to receive an order ontime-shop somewhere else!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

I ordered an item and paid $20.00 for overnight shipping. 2 days later still haven't gotten my item. Overtime i call customer service they tell me "it'll be here by tonight"... mind you it should have been here yesterday. They refuse to refund me the money that i paid for one night shipping and I still have yet to receive my item. The customer service rep I spoke to was the worst I have ever encountered from any company.

UBER BAD - Do not buy.

Well, what can I say that hasn't been said here before?

I ordered a Habs jersey and... surprise, suprise, they charged it in USD instead of CAD even though on their website, there is a CANADIAN flag saying CAD on the top of the page.

This would all be alright, I guess if somewhere, during the process of ordering, it would specified. But no. Of course not.

I tried speaking with their god awful customer service (4 different agents in fact), but all I got was: "I'm sorry you feel that way!" I wanted to cancel my order, but of course I couldn't.

Simply put: DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

If anything goes wrong, they will not asssit.

They have NOT updated their website to now include currency rate on their pricing... just ordered from Canada... they charged me in US... an extra $40.00... no where on the invoice does it say in US funds! Now its like... oh well you ordered it, and no mention of it or problem shipping to Canada...

Currency Issues

Absolute trash. I shopped for a custom jersey and a couple of smaller items. Even though I clicked on my country of origin, the cart did not say what currency I would be charged in. So I asked a live chat agent to confirm that since I was in Canada, I would be charged that $ amount in the cart, in CAD.
Lo & behold, only AFTER the transaction went through was I charged in USD, which is significantly higher these days due to the exchange rate.
Back to live chat. "So sorry for your experience, we will charge you that amount but in CAD$$.
Wrong. Get an email from someone else 2 days later blaming me for not being on the Canadian site and that it was basically my fault. No recourse whatsoever.
So now I'm stuck with hopefully decent goods, but at a very large premium to local retailer pricing.
Lousy attitude and service by completely ignoring my issue and the telling me I would get a $10 credit toward a future purchase.
Oh, and during that 2-day silence? They updated their website to now include currency rate on their pricing. Nice, eh?

Slow delivery

I paid for 2 day shipping, so I could wear my Hawks jersey to a game I was attending this weekend. 2 day shipping somehow means 1 week shipping apparently!

I've had many issues with shop.nhl.com over the years. Faulty products, slow shipping, jerseys with the lettering peeling off before even being opened. The really irritating thing is their already overpriced but cheaply made crap has continued to skyrocket in price. Who the hell pays $120 for a hoody? Maybe they're looking for the Kanye West crowd to throw down some coin. I know you'll never get anymore of my money or any of these other folks on this site.
Seems to be the NHL as a whole. When dealing with them relating to chronic problems with Gamcenter Live, they are just as rude & incompetent on that end.

I ordered a jersey for my son on July 21,2015. When he hadn't received it by last week, I started the long, horrible process of trying to track the package. After NUMBEROUS online chats, emails, etc. they told me they didn't have the jersey and probably won't have any more... it would have been nice to know back in July... I will never buy from this place again and I would recommend nobody else does either. If I could give no stars, I would.

Customer service. TERRIBLE. Timely shipping. TERRIBLE. Ability to assist with expediting order as needed. Terrible. I cannot begin to describe how unpleasant this experience was. Mind-blowingly bad. Worse that cable companies and worse than used car salesman.

Either save your money or buy directly from your favorite team. Please, for your own sanity.

I pre ordered the new Arizona Coyotes Jersey in August, the site warned me it was a pre sale item so it should ship around October 5th. This was understandable, after all it was a new jersey. However, the 5th came and went, with no change, so I went on their live chat to get an update. Yesterday, I was told things had a slight hold up and it should be delivered no later then October 15th. Again, completely understandable. However, after no change in the order I checked today, and was informed of its new delivery date, December 11th. After a short talk with the agent my order was canceled, get your jerseys from the team shop, get them numbered at local placed that do numbering, do not waste your time and money on Shop NHL.

HORRIBLE! I ordered a custom hoody for my boyfriend 2 weeks ago. The site as well as my order confirmation clearly states that it will ship WITHIN 2 business days. After a week I called only to speak to a very disrespectfully employee. I asked to cancel my order because her attitude, rudeness and because she could not give me an ETA. All she said was "we cannot rush the warehouse". So I asked to cancel this order and she continued to say I cant because it is a custom order. I again asked her if my product was ready to be shipped and she said no. I again asked if I could cancel considering the product was clearly not made or shipped out yet and the answer was no. I asked to speak to someone higher up then herself and she tells me I cannot and most likely I will be getting an email instead. WHO DOES THIS?! OH THATS RIGHT... SHOP NHL DOES! LOSERS! SOOOO disappointed. Please DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE! Now I sit and play he waiting game and hope and pray this will show up soon.
