I like this website it's the best website I've used so far and I really do like but there are its down falls like at least for me I can't summit more than one story and right now I can't post anything because my stories won't go through but other than that it's a really good website. I do recommend.

I was a member of this site for about a year; posted over 70 short stories; received an inordinate number of hits and minimal reviews. And then, the other day one of my stories which had been posted weeks earlier was blocked for inappropriate material. The complaint came from Google which I still don't understand. Why was Google policing this site was the question that came to mind. I'm very careful about the material I include in my stories - no sexual graphic material - ever. If it's adult in nature I make sure the age approprate is properly filled out. If you have a short story you'd like posted, I'd be cautioius about using shortstories101. If you want to publish a collection of short stories, I highly recomment CreateSpace. My review is on this site somewhere.

JT, the website is kept online by proceeds made by the Google AdSense platform. They specifically labelled one of your stories as violating their guidelines for adult content. The story was marked as 'Having issues that need resolving' to give you a chance to make the required changes to bring it in good standing. However, It was your choice to remove yourself completely from the website. It was indeed sad to see you go, and even more sad to see this review as you were an appreciated active contributor to the site. I do hope that you reconsider your position one day.
