As a small business owner there is so much to pay attention to that doesn't include what you ACTUALLY provide as a service. Signpost is brilliant with their help they provide. It is like have an additional department in your business you can ring when you are in the weeds and there they are quickly with all the answers. They seamlessly provide you help and support while organizing you and helping you reach out to past clients, maintain current clients, and reach forward for new business. My business "RiverHorse Photography" is better for having included Signpost. I couldn't be happier with them and recommend them in the loudest of voices.

We consider Signpost as our personalized Andan Marketing Department! They have so many ways to help improve our business exposure and we've continued with them for years while we have dropped several other advertising efforts. One of the things that we like best about them is helping us manage our online reputation. Through their tools we become aware of service disappointments with our clients and have a chance to connect for corrections before they become negative online reviews. Also, there is no better tool that we've found to help us harvest positive online reviews. In 10 months we have gone from 1 BBB review to 93 reviews, almost all 5 Stars and it's due to Signpost strategies. I'd HIGHLY recommend them for any small business.

I signed up for a 6 month trial. I cancelled before the 6 months finished, as they were over spamming my customers and I was getting a bad response from everyone they were targeting.
After canceling, I thought it was over. NOPE. Signpost continued to bill me, beyond the 6 month trial. I only noticed at the end of the year, so they charged me for 4 months, without providing service. I know this, because for the first 5 months, I would get 20+ emails from signpost daily. These stopped when I cancelled the service, but they kept billing me. I had to cancel my credit card to prevent them from getting more of my money.
UPDATE:
After Posting this review, I did receive a call from a very helpful customer service rep from signpost.
She was able to work with me to get 3 out of 4 months of service refunded, which is why I have changed this from one star to 3 stars. If the customer service rep I spoke to was running the sales dept, signpost would be much better off.
I cant say I would recommend Signpost, but I can at least withdraw my assertion that they are a fraud/ scam.

Jaron was extremely helpful, courteous, and detailed. He asked where I was in marketing strategies with my business and helped me see where I was lacking. He encouraged me to make sure I was receiving the best help possible at a price affordable to me. In the end, I didn't move forward with sign post, but I was able to increase my current marketing support at a price more within my budget. I never leave bad reviews for any business but this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. They sold me on a great idea and how they were going to drive google reviews for me and build up my web presence. The problem is google my business doesn't have a customer service line and attempting to reach them is impossible. I waited 15 days for a post card from google that never came. I tried all other methods to verify my business and all this time have been paying $200.00 a month. By the second month I have gained absolutely nothing from "signpost". I have emailed and told them to take me off their subscription and billing but every month they send me statments for a useless service. I feel like Signpost is a fraudulent service and is scamming people with a service they don't deliver on. The sale person Matt Rice, told me he would be able to help set everything up everything and would be there every step of the way. Not once did I get help, the whole staff will just send you through loops stating that they have relayed the information onto another staff member. He did nothing but sell me on a service that doesn't deliver. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE FOR THE GRACE OF GOD. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

We have been online for over 2 years and also have a retail location open for just over 1 year. Our website had a pretty efficient Product Reviews system, but our business was not getting reviews. We noticed that our retail location benefited much more from reviews and we began our own in house efforts to get Google reviews. We typically don't have challenges with reviews and we often receive high marks, but asking each shopper about a review can be exhausting - especially when you are trying to get just one or two more. We had come to the point where we hoped word of mouth would catch on.
We met Signpost via one of their other clients when we received an email asking us to rate our past shopping experience. It was a very easy and fast system and we contacted Signpost to learn more. Right away the engagement was Enterprise - something you get from an established vendor that has built layers of support to help clients. Our plan level gives us a dedicated support rep -Chris and a team of others. Our first onboardin call was one of the easiest set up calls ever. We attached all the applications (4 of them), connected to email client and verified everything in - ONE CALL.
We quickly signed up based on the ease of our clients use, the reach into Square, Google My Business, Quicken, Shopify and other software applications.
Within the first 30 days we doubled our Google reviews as well as saw a significant growth in our Yelp reviews. Right away the cost can be justified and our site rankings is growing too. Looking forward to the rest of the year with Signpost.

Answer: Signpost takes a lot of work to reap any benefits; it's not as easy as the pushy sales staff would have you believe. The real problem occurs when you try to leave. They require payment up front (in our case one year), and will not refund anything when you cancel. This is a very shady company, and I would recommend staying away!

They bill you in advance, will not refund what they have billed (even if you quit using the service), and make it very difficult to cancel. In our case (sounds like others had similar situations), we had to cancel 30 days before the contract automatically renewed. I contacted Signpost the day after their $2,000 charge appeared on my credit card, and they refused to budge. Nothing... Best to stay away from Signpost!
