Every product ordered was exactly as advertised. Customer service was great when the mistake was my fault. Shipping was insanely fast and borderline unbelievable. Would and will order from them again.
This is hands down the worst company I have ever worked with. They refuse to work with customers even though they are the ones that messed up. I order a 10" sub and got sent a 12" tube sub that is not even close to what I needed. The company failed to make any of it right. The item I ordered was an older model so it was near the end of stock. So instead of giving me the newer model or making anything right they just worried about me sending the product back to them. And on a side note the item was supposed to be shipped on a Friday and was not here until Wednesday the following week which seems a bit extreme. Then when I called about it and they wanted me to send the item back before they could even send me the item I ordered, if they were even going to send me the item at all. It took me 3 calls before someone finally told me they were not going to send me the new model and that they need to receive the item before they even issue a refund so now I have to wait to get my money back because of their mess up to even get the item I want which I will be ordering through Crutchfield. Which means and item that should have been here in 1week would have taken almost a month to get, which seemed a non issue for them. They have the worst customer service of any company, They do not care about you just money.
Very bad customer service they send me the part with no update so l call them put me on hold for 45 minutes and just hang up more then 3 times! ZERO customer service. THANK YOU Ashley B for all your help.
I called into customer service, Had the sweetest woman help me through everything, i ask about my order she explained about back orders and she helped me get another item that was in stock, She even told me she was new to the company and still helped me like she had been there for years, Alot of customer service people you talk to are kinda hateful Not this woman, Kayla is the sweetest person you can talk to, so if you need to call in ask for Kayla she is wonderful
I purchased a high end stereo adapter kit and some other items as I'm upgrading my Lexus SC430. BestBuy (the installers) are giving me a run around saying my tech issue is about the part, not the installation. I went onto SE's site and confirmed that the part did not look like what was installed -- the problem is there is a metal piece that runs along the top of SE's dash kit, and you can easily see it on the picture from their site. But BestBuy doesn't seem to have an answer and can't explain anything about the top horizontal piece to the kit. I'll get to the bottom of this, but the SE people have been wonderful trying to get this figured out and Ashley B. In customer service is very professional and I can tell very caring.
Was seduced by claims of auto expertise. Ordered car stereo with claim of " everything included for installation in my vehicle". One week later radio arrived, I disassembled my dash and pulled my old unit out, only to find wiring hopeless. I called customer service, and they cheerfully informed me that I needed conversion wiring harness. They agreed to ship me one for free. I reinstalled old radio. One week later wiring harness arrived, I mated it up and again pulled my radio only to find the antenna didn't fit. There was an antenna converter but I was fed up and wanted to return unit. Website refused to process return. A call to customer service assured me, an email with return label would be sent. It never showed and then they ghosted me. I was able to get PayPal to negotiate a return but I was required to pay shipping. All in all a terrible experience.
I reached out to SE for an install on my work van and got completely well taken care of. I purchased practically everything from them. A three way speaker set, power wedge sub box, DSP, two amplifiers, sound deadening, and wiring for the entire set up. Dustin handled my purchase from top to bottom and walked me through step by step what fit my budget and technical aspects that helped me maximize my install plan. Go shop there now... right now.
I used to like doing business with this company but since my last purchase i noticed that it has gone sour customer service is really bad i had two separate issues in wich they totally denied to help in wich i hanged up both time i was so frustrated i know with all du sincerity that i will not do business with them again
DO NOT buy this item from Sonic Electronix! I purchased this for my son as a gift for Christmas. The leads were not properly welded. We contacted Sonic Electronix on January 4,2021 & requested an RA "return authorization" which came back DENIED. I called them & they actually told me to contact the manufacturer, Steve Meade Designs. To date, I have been UNSUCCESSFUL in reaching anyone there either! With shipping & taxes, the bill came to $252.78
I placed a order 2.5 months ago that was never delivered and no one signed for. Fed ex said they left on my porch. I have video cameras and they were never at my house. 300$ out the window and sonic wont do anything. I will fill out bad reviews as much as possible on this company now
I bought two sets of speakers from sonic. Great name brand and not a bad price. I went on the website and put my model car in. I went by there specs and purchased to sets of speakers. They didn't fit so I returned them. I went a BMW site and found out I had to get speakers that are made for my car. I paid 5 times the money. I sent the ones from sonic back and didn't anything. More then 3 weeks I emailed them. They said they were putting the money on my account. I argued with them and said its there policy. The box was opened. Speakers were never used in perfect condition. 60 day refund if there is nothing wrong with them. I had to see if they fit. They didn't and they said they would fit. If you have been on there site they tell you if they fit and if you need anything to make them fit. They were supposed to fit perfectly. They said its there policy to not give money back if box was opened. Its not. I would never ever buy anything from Sonic again. They make reasons not to refund.
Just wanted to give a big shout out to Nick. Thanks for going out of the way to help resolve my issue and in getting the radio I wanted. It was shipped to me and arrived in two days.

This is the most horrible and scandalous company that I have ever came across on in my 43 years here on this earth. My spouse just got fired from this company because he refused to let customers harass him at let them cuss him out and bully him. His supervisor (N*i*c*k) shunned and ostracized him from the very first day he started. This so called supervisor is forcing his workers to lie to the customers and tell them that the products that they ordered months ago are on their way and they are not even getting any new stock in. Therefore it's a classic Ponzi scheme.
They also have deceptive wording on their website that says "available, ships at a later date" and when someone buys something that doesn't exist they still take the money out of your bank account and draw interest off of it. This place needs to be reported to the Consumer protection agency and the Federal trade commission.
They make jokes on your behalf... never get your audio here at all... go to crutchfeild for all your needs...
Absolutely upset at this company. They mark up their items to a higher price but include" a free gift" It's not free because they already up charging you. Then after about 2 weeks of not receiving my product i email them and they say my payment was a fraud and wanted to charge another 200 dollars. Very upset horrible experience would not recommend.
I bought "Metra"installation kit for off market radio for my car from SonicElectronix Ebay store. The price was good but kit came with the broken clip on the face plate and cannot be installed. According to the company rules, I had to send the whole kit back to get the replacement, but my radio was already installed and I would have to pay the installers to remove and install it again. I asked Kimberly, the sales rep, if I could get replacement only the faceplate with a new one. She solved my problem perfectly by sending me a new kit for my radio. Thanks, Kimberly D.
They sold items stating they would be at my house the next Thursday. Thursday came and they hadn't been shipped. Representative admitted items were on back order. Frustrating they sold items and promised a delivery date, billed my card, and knew they didn't have items.
My name is Katrina and I ordered a subwoofer and a amplifier from Sonic Electronix. I received my subwoofer within 3 days absolutely outstanding. But I have not received my amplifier yet I would look out my door every day it never came around the 7th Day I called the company and a gentleman named Quentin A. Answered the phone with a very pleasant voice I told him I have not received my amplifier that I had order a check and said it was because it was out of stock it was a miscommunication on my part when I read shipped at a later date I thought maybe it would just come later which in fact that means out of stock. I asked him if he could find me an amplifier that was equal or lesser in value a couple of the ones he found or more expensive a lot of things you looked up we're out of stock. I was getting ready to give up after he was working so hard I told him unfortunately I was going to just received my money and he said I'm not giving up he looked I found the most amazing amplifier better than the one I wanted and a dollar and some change cheaper than the one I want to I'm extremely happy with the customer service we laughed and talked extremely nice man if I ever have any problems in the future I hope that I do get him again I don't think anyone else could have helped me like he did thank you Quentin A. You made my day so much brighter many thanks!

Would give 0 stars if I could. I have tried emailing them, tried support tickets, tried CALLING them, and have gotten nothing. I've been unable to track order status, been unable to verify my email with them, and can't even call them during business hours because all I got was them saying "Call back during business hours." And then they dared send me an email asking me to review products which they never even sent me to begin with. No successful contact with them, and no recieved products. Worst company I have ever dealt with.
Answer: Because they don't have it in stock. They are notorious for posting products they aren't authorized dealers for and not keeping an accurate inventory of what they do have leading to them having out of stock items available for sale but they cannot fulfill the order because the company that makes the product doesn't sell to them.
