I have been ordering fly predators for years. I noticed in 2022
1/4 didn't hatch. I contacted Spalding labs and got no help. I
Then ordered in 2023 and noticed 1/2 of the fly predators did
Not hatch. Again, I spoke to someone from Spalding labs. I was
Told I probably wasn't dispersing them right. This was far from
The truth. Me and my wife decided it was not worth the cost of
The fly predators if they didn't work, and Spalding labs would
Not resolve the issues. We decided to end our relationship with
Spalding labs. On 6/18/2024 I received a voice mail from Lanna
With Spalding labs reaching out because they noticed I/we
Haven't ordered yet and wanted to help. She noted that they
Had staffing issues. They also had customer service issues for
Sure. I wrote them this morning. As typical, they didn't answer
Me. It's a shame that they don't care. Reviewing their facebook
Page reviews, it appears this is a common problem with them.
The used to be good, now they are not and won't resolve
Issues with customers.

I have ordered fly predators from several companies over the years and Spalding is the absolute WORST company I have ordered from. Their first shipment was dead, no signs of life after two weeks, I called to let them know that, they said they'd send a comp shipment pronto, they never shipped it, they admitted it had not shipped when I called them the next month. That next month's shipment also never arrived. We had flies all over the place. I asked each call that someone in the company contact me within 24 hours to let me know they were shipping. They NEVER responded. I cancelled the whole year's subscription and am demanding a refund of the dead early shipments I already paid them. They don't care how they treat their customers and they show utmost disrespect to their customers by refusing to respond to a paying customer when the order failed over and over again.

We've used Spalding fly predators for several years now as part of our fly management program. They have significantly added to fly reduction on my 37 acre 12 horse property especially when used with facility spraying and feed through supplements. Working with Spalding is easy and they can easily customize quantity and shipments to meet anyone's need.

Great service, still trying out the product to see its efficacy. The call center has always been very helpful!

I've been using Fly Predators for many years. One year I didn't renew and what a difference! Now I renew early to take advantage of a discount. My "boys in the barn" are much happier when I use Fly Predators.

Used the fly predators for 2 or 3 years. Flies were minimal. I thought "Do they really work?". I skipped a year. Dramatic increase in flies! Believe me, I learned my lesson. Began using fly predators again 2 years ago and will continue as long as I maintain horses on the farm.

Great customer service. Very knowledgeable. Made recommendations on how/when to use the predators. The PRODUCT WORKS! We have since moved. But we already placed our order for the upcoming fly season. I highly recommend this product.

We have a farm with horses, goats, ducks, and chickens. We've been using fly predators from Spalding Labs for 2 full seasons now, and will continue to do so for as long as we own a farm! Our fly population has been drastically reduced. The horses are so much more comfortable, as are their people! The company is super easy to work with, deliveries are prompt, and their products work!

Spalding's website, delivery and instructions are incredibly easy to navigate and use. Their product dramatically reduced the flies at my farm with horses, goats and chickens. I highly recommend Spalding and their simple summer subscription for fly control.

We raise 2 pigs each summer, along with year round population of 3 horses, 5 cows, 3 goats, 10 chickens, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. Using this product, flies were WAY LESS last summer (2021). We are using it again this summer (2022).

We love this natural solution to our fly problem. Our house is not too far from our pasture and barns, yet we had no fly problem to speak of.

We have used fly predators for 3 years or so with our small herd. We have found them to be very effective in controlling flies.

Having used other companies, Spaulding fly predators did the best job by far. Deliveries came on schedule.

We began using Fly Predators in 2006 when we lived in VT. We had 5-7 horses at any one time, with a total pasture area of about 10-acres. The results were great. Following their directions on how to order the proper quantity is key, and the manure management tips they provide also helps. Since moving here to CT about 10-years ago, the results have been even better. I definitely recommend over-ordering - meaning if you have 2 horses and 3-acres, order the amount listed for 3-4 horses and 5-acres - that kind of thing. Especially in the first few months of using the product. Apply the Fly Predators as directed, don't skimp, and stick with their program. You'll have great results. Our horses never have to wear "fly masks". Our neighbors are very close (their deck is only 100-feet from our barn) and they always comment on how they never have any flies. You'll still likely need to use a fly spray during the heart of fly season, but this product always performs. We've tried others a few times in the past, but Spalding Labs is BY FAR the best and best value for the money.

No one gets more excited about spring, summer, and fall than horse people, and everyone dreads "fly season!" I no longer dread fly season thanks to Spalding Labs Fly Predators. I've been a customer since 2015 and cannot even imagine life around the barn and pastures without the fly predators.

I have three equines and prepare for fly season in four ways: #1 Order fly predators early. #2 manage my manure/compost pile. #3 spread the manure in the pastures regularly. #4 stock up on fly spray and fly ointment.

One of my geldings has fly bite allergies and Spalding Labs Fly Predators have made a HUGE difference in managing his allergies.

As a lifelong horse owner, I have the mindset that we are in a constant state of learning - about nutrition, husbandry, riding, hoof care, etc, and keeping the barn virtually fly-free is a top priority! I want my horses to be comfortable year-round, not just when it's time for fly spray!

I have been satisfied every year with these predators and will continue to be a loyal customer for years to come!

Never did I expect to be outside with my animals and not see a single fly in the middle of summer but after using fly predators for a few months that's exactly what happened. Towards the end of summer I started to have a big issue with only horn flies, when I mentioned it to customer support I got a phone call right away with advice and suggestions. I'm happy and my cattle and horses are happy.
