I was very disappointed with the size and quality of the trees and shrubs I bought. Especially for the price. 2 of the shrubs were almost dead and very small for the $50 I spent on each. The Crepe Myrtle trees were about 2.5 feet high for $100 each. I went to the local nursery to replace them and spent $179 on a crepe myrtle that was taller than me and very healthy. I spent a month trying to get someone on the phone that I could do a refund. I finally spoke with someone and found out they don't do refunds. She told me she would send two replacements for the almost dead plants, but that never happened and I can't get ahold of her again. I had also sent three inquiries over their email system but they said they never received them. Horrible customer service, very bad quality of product. I spent $600 with them and it was a total waste of money. Stay away!
Arrived in excellent condition. Quality merchandise. Prices great. Very good about information regarding planting and care. Will use them again.
I received my plants and choose not to take the warranty. I paid quite a bit for the size plant I received. I have not complained but found that I can get the same item, even larger, at lowes with the years guarentee if they die. I was a little disappointed in the size as they stated they were to be larger.
I loved shopping on this website! It was so enjoyable to see such a variety. I was looking for a particular evergreen to match what was already in the yard. The plants came protected and healthy. I decided to also order a rhododendron, and they sent a package of root stimulator to help in the transplanting process. I know I will order again next year to add to my line of evergreens. I highly recommend!
All my plants arrived in excellent condition and were properly packed. Will definitely be coming back!
I am very happy with both my trees. I ordered a Red Dragon Japanese Maple and a Korean Silberlocke fur. Both are doing well. The maple tree has some slight scorching on the leaves but that is to be expected in the Texas heat. I look forward to future ordering.
The order was processed quickly and I am extremely happy with the careful packaging, quality of the products, and the detailed instructions for planting!
These are great. One of my arborvitae died and they sent a new one. I had to email a few times before they replied but overall good customer service
Timely, fresh, well packaged, complete delivery by FDX, driver followed directions as to box placement
I ordered four skip laurel bushes. The bushes arrived prior to expected date. They were in good shape. We planted them as instructed. Several weeks later, the bushes are doing well. Very satisfied so far.
I received the wrong size and color tree. I paid $89 for a 5 gallon pink dogwood. I was told it would be 4-5 feet tall.
It arrived a month later then it was supposed to, without the starter fertilizer I ordered... it's white, it's in a 3 1/2 gallon pot and measures 2 1/2 feet tall. It has the girth of a twig. I submitted numerous emails and tickets. No response. Called multiple times and got disconnected. Today I finally received a generic email that simply said "Thank you, The Tree Center"
No actual response, no refund, no resolution
ZERO customer service.
Egregious company.
Waste of time and money.
Have tried multiple times and multiple avenues to try and get in touch with customer service. I filled out a ticket a week and a half ago and no one has resolved my issue. My river birch I ordered arrived damaged and bent. I also ordered a 5 gallon fire and ice hydrangea. It was pathetic looking... i wouldn't even call it a 3 gallon plant. It just happened to be planted in a 5 gallon pot. That plant arrived damage as well. I also have 3 butterfly bushes that I purchased last august from them and they're already dead. I didn't even get a full season out of them. I've attempted to reach out by creating a ticket, through Facebook, and attempted to call... several times. When I call I sit on hold for 15-20 minutes and an automated message comes on to tell me no one is available to help me. What a waste of my time. I WOULD NOT recommend this company due to the HORRIBLE customer service and poor quality of plants. Good luck getting anything taken care of if your order is right or plants arrive damaged.
Do not buy from them - I purchased 10 Arborvitae trees that were much smaller theni expected and i needed more so i went to Lowes and they had the same exact trees that were 2 feet taller for 49 each compared to their 99 and when i contact them about it they do not respond to any of my calls or anything - STAY AWAY from them i have the pics i can send to prove it LOok at the trees in the middle those are from lowes at $49 and the ones on each end are from the tree center for $99 what a damn rip off
They were received timely and planted within the week. Their response has been pretty good thus far. I look forward to their accelerated growth! I'm reasonably happy with them thus far.
I received my plants in 95% excellent condition. One plant container had been crushed, but I'm hoping to salvage the plant. Nine plants in one box and all look very healthy.
It is small but planted it right away. This is a different kind of tree so we are excited to see it blossom.
I was very impressed with the quality and how the trees looked. Will use this place again in the future. Plus liked how they put them in zones so I know what I can have in Colorado.
I agree with the comment about finding better quality at the local nursery. I decided to try this online service instead of the local nursery, thinking that I'd get bigger, well-established specimens for the price. The four 5 gallon rhododendrons (Nova Zembla) I received are much smaller, pruned extensively so that there's not much to show as a statement. They look kind of tired, worn out, and not flourishing. They will grow, of course, but it was a shock to get the four narrow, small plants stuffed into boxes. Not worth the $260. I won't order again.
The customer service, however, was helpful.
This team has great customer service, a good selection, and the tree I got was very healthy and beautiful. However, I ordered a 5 gallon and when it arrived it was a 2.5/3 gallon and smaller than I expected for the largest option they offered. Plus, there is a decent price difference between those sizes. Hoping it was a simple labeling error and not intentional.
Answer: Do you have avocado trees in any of these varieties? Bacon Brogden Fuerte May Winter Mexican
Answer: They had the tree that I was looking for. Packaged perfectly. Quick ship. Beautiful, healthy and green. Even came with Christmas wrap on the pot. Nice touch. I was very pleased.
Answer: Never tried to get hold of customer service I've had no need to.
Answer: Hello! The 3 gallon Skip Laurels are going to be about 2-3 feet tall, and the 5 gallons are going to be about 3-4 feet tall. You will want to plant these between 2 to 3 feet apart, so, if you have a 20 foot wall, you'll need between 7-10 plants to suffice that space. Hope that helps!
