Toptal has given me opportunity to work on very interesting and challenging machine learning projects, which led me explore latest research and development in the field. Toptal is also helping me to grow by providing amazing out-of-work opportunities like funding and resources for getting relevant cloud development certification, informative workshops, guidance in writing blogs and much more. Working at Toptal allows me to find time to work on my hobbies, personal projects, family and traveling. Its a complete package which also gives competitive compensation.

I requested my e-commerce shopify site be migrated to WooCommerce. I was of the opinion that this would be a $500 - to $700 job. That wk 3 weeks of billing ago with no end in site. Currently I owe $16,300 after the $500 deposit I prepaid.

Without all nightmares related to the payments.

I love that Toptal allowed me to find Clients all over the world. Being in Japan, I tend to be quite isolated, and Toptal helped me to extend my reach to the other APAC countries, as well as the USA and Europe. It's great to have access to a great range of serious clients from various industries, working on projects of every scale, and of course, being able to meet people from other cultures all the time. It's very enriching for a freelancer!

No word of a lie or exaggeration, I owe Toptal credit for my career's success. Prior to joining I was working a typical corporate 9-5 life, commuting over 10 hours a week and not growing. After joining the network, I quit my job and haven't looked back since. 6 years, 29 unique international clients, 30+ countries of travel, and not one missed payment later, my life has been transformed for the better. Joining Toptal definitely was a changing point in my career as a software developer. Freelancing had always caught an eye on me, but felt there were too many risks. What if I don't get paid? Its wonderful staff is always there to listen to you and try to solve any issues you may have. Jobs are all around the place with many challenging and interesting projects for small and big companies all around the world. Definitely, a freelancer's dream.

At Toptal, the community of fellow developers is one of my most valuable resources for peer reviews and discussion. I'm able to focus on my deepest area of expertise, because I know I can count on Toptal designers, project managers, and other professionals to provide me with the best possible support in other areas of my projects. I also enjoy the simplicity and security of being paired with great clients, without having to run my own small business.

Usually working remotely doesn't compare to working in person... you don't have a coffee break with friends, you don't have a colleague to comment on yesterday's soccer game, you don't get to arrange a barbecue with co-workers - after all, they are spread all over the world. And you also don't have someone looking after your career or watching over your work, which will hopelessly lead you down a bad path.

In other words, YOU-ARE-ALONE.
